Vicky has been great she is always there to help and willing to listen she is the only behaviourist that has given me all the advice and help that I needed. I now have a more relaxed lovable cockerpoo, I would recommend her to anyone.

I had a consultation with Vicky and she was great very knowledgable, she has got me heading in the right direction, expalined each part of my plan in detail so I had a good understanding of what I needed to carry out. I found Vicky to be extremly understanding and caring, which was invaluable when you had felt like you had failed your dog. Now I am positive and excited for my future ahead with my dog. Will definatley use Vicky again with any other issues and would highly recommend here to anyone who is strugling with a reacitve dog and don't know where to turn.

Vicky came to help us with our Patterdale Scooby, he was very reactive with people and other dogs. She gave us the tools to deal with these situations and he has calmed down greatly, it is a work in progress but we know Vicky is always at the end of a phone or mail if we need any help or support. I would have no hesitation in recommending her if you have any issues with your dog. We were at the end of our tether with Scooby and I’m so grateful that we found her, Thankyou Vicky

I have a German Shepherd (Ella) who had a few issues, the main one being aggression towards other dogs. I'd grown up with Shepherds so thought I knew enough to be able to cope with and correct this but I was very wrong. She was obviously a nightmare to take out so we had to take her out at a time when we were least likely to meet anyone. In desperation I reluctantly decided I needed help from an expert and on searching for a dog behaviourist I came across the wonderful Vicky Lawes whose help I enlisted. Vicky is a lovely lady with a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw on, we immediately felt at ease and it wasn't long before I realised there was some hope for Ella. Don't get me wrong Vicky sadly doesn't possess a magic wand but after trying different things, one being meeting other dogs in a controlled situation, it became apparent to Vicky that Ella was only acting aggressively because she was frightened which, having previously discussed Ella's history, Vicky realised was because she hadn't been socialised enough as a puppy due to medical problems. With hands-on guidance from Vicky, we (us and Ella) all had to learn how to change Ella's behaviour. With a lot of ongoing perseverance from us we now have a German Shepherd that can walk past other dogs with no problem and can even stop and calmly sniff a dog she's seen out quite often so is comfortable with. THANK YOU Vicky, a changed dog and a happier less stressful life for all. I would 100% recommend Vicky to anyone needing help with their dog.

Vicky was professional throughout, despite being jumped on, barked at and lunged at by our German Shepherd! She has given us a plan and thus far it's working and we can have visitors without it being overly stressful!

It took me awhile to look for a trainer that I trusted in to help me with my dog I came across vicky‘s website and I was drawn in instantly, her prices are the best out there and her knowledge and skills are of high standards she is very professional. I made contact and she replied promptly she is a lovely person and she definitely knows how to deal with dogs, she is helping me and my dog Who is a cross breed helping me to build a better relationship and understanding of my dogs behaviour I’ve only had one session with her at the moment but by far my dogs behaviour is improving we still have a few things to work on but I would definitely recommend her services to family and friends and anyone that’s needs help with any problems with their dogs. Vicky has given me good training resources and techniques amazing advice she came to my home and did an assessment on my dog and we are working together I received a full report about my dogs behaviour after the visit and a plan to follow we have regular contact via phone and email and I don’t feel that I’m left alone if I have any problems I can just contact her which is great I look forward to completing training with her and my dog.

Vicky has been absolutely brilliant. My dog Misha has been reactive to joggers, cyclists, small kids running around and screaming, kids kicking a ball. He'd run off, run around and bark. He thought he was the boss. His 'no' command and recall had to be corrected as well as certain behaviours at home. I was getting desperate and didn't know how much of his behaviour could be changed. Vicky explained both, dog's psychology and behaviour to me, and the training started at home. I realised that I was doing quite a few things wrong. Vicky's explanations and training sessions have been very clear and effective, and she has answered all of my questions. In addition to the foregoing Vicky helped with managing my dog around young kids in a household. My dog hasn't grown up with kids therefore I needed to train the kids and my dog so that they get used to each other and my dog sees them as his superiors. Although this needs continued consistency and perseverance, things are much better. I believed the training would work yet I am still astounded how responsive my dog has been. I am very happy with the results and will keep at the training. As a result, I feel more confident and I can see that my dog is more relaxed and looks to me for leadership. Thank you so much Vicky for all your help, I will be recommending you to anyone who needs help with their furry friends!!

Vicky is extremely personable. She puts you at ease, she listens and she cares about helping you to get your relationship back on track with your dog.
I was exhausted, depressed and spent most of my time running around after my excitable Brittany Spaniel. Within 24 hrs of meeting Vicky, I felt empowered and by following her examples and taking her advice, my dog's behaviour changed, practically overnight. The techniques she uses and leadership management support she gives is second to none. I would highly recommend Vicky and I thank her so much for all that she has done for me and my dog George.
