Can’t recommend Liz enough! Milo is quite a nervous dog when it comes to the big outdoors and Liz has worked with me over the last few months in both 1-1 and group sessions to give me the skills I need to make our daily walks much more enjoyable, already I can see such a difference in his behaviour and can’t wait to keep working to improve on these further!
Milo’s confidence has grown so much around other dogs and people and we both look forward to everything so much more and no longer feel worried to take on issues that may appear.
Looking forward to further 1-1 and group sessions and in the future, I can’t thank Liz enough for how much she has helped me!

I have a working cocker spaniel which was about 8mnths and absolutely hyper when I first introduced him to Liz. He hadn’t had much socialisation due to covid and walking on a leader was non existent . I initially attended for a puppy foundation course which was useful and following assessment agreed he needed 1/1 input .
Liz has been brilliant she has trained me as well as the dog, Liz explained every thing in easy to understand terms and allowed me the time I needed to practice. Liz was honest upfront and said it was not an easy job to do and would take a great deal of time and effort on my part . I emailed her when I was struggling and requested handouts and video clips which Liz provided straight away. I found them really useful. Nothing was a bother, Liz is a professional but her warmth , enthusiasm and genuine love of her role shines through. We have completed the course of 1/1 and Liz has equipped me and the dog with the skills and knowledge we need to hopefully become a brilliant team in the future with the dog walking at my side. She also has a great sense of humour , I would if needed go back to her without hesitation. P

My partner Ruth and I enrolled our cocker spaniel pup, Charlie, into the Gundog Foundations Course. Over 6 weeks we were taught everything that we needed to know to set our fury nuclear reaction up for success. Liz is a great instructor. All of the methods she taught were very effective, but if something wasn't quite clicking for the human and/or the pup, Liz was quick to adapt with a technique that achieved the desired result. There was a lot of information given out in each lesson so you need to be on your toes but Liz will help you through, she did a fantastic job at spotting where we might be struggling and helping us through. Although there is a lot to take in during the session before we got home we had an email in our inbox with a selection of handy resources to continue the training process. All were easy to follow and some even had video demonstrations.
Charlie is still a perpetual energy machine but thanks to Liz that energy can now be, for the most part, harnessed. 10/10 would recommend this course to anyone that wants to see their pup succeed!

I can highly recommend the gundog foundation training. Liz was brilliant. Each class was very well planned with lots opportunities to practice training exercises with my young very excitable cocker pup - and Liz was so patient. The classes were also supplemented with a training tracker and a worksheet which consolidated the learning with further instructions, videos and homework. My pup and I made lots of progress and we are very grateful for Liz's help.

We completed the junior foundations 6 week course recently and i can’t recommend Liz enough! We were able to take our Lab puppy to a safe environment with other like minded and very excitable pups. Liz gave us the tools and foundations to help with a multiple of issues that most of us face with young dogs. Thank you from me and Wanda!

We learned such a lot during the six weeks course. Monty, our nine-month-old Labrador really benefited from the opportunity to socialise with other dogs and it was great to watch him settling into lessons each week. Liz was great at bringing out the best in him and in us! We will definitely be recommending this course to family and friends.

Liz is amazing! She really gets spaniels and their quirky traits, but most importantly she is fab at retraining humans!!! She is patient, direct and clear - will be doing more training with her! Highly recommend ☺️

The junior foundation group has been an invaluable, informative and very happy experience for both myself and Sam (20mth lab).
We have both learnt new skills and techniques.
Having 3 young dogs, Sam and his brother Benji plus Jazz a 13mth sprocket who have a fairly “free range” lifestyle I am starting to be able to transfer some of these skills to the other two which is making life so much more pleasant for us all.
Liz’s sensitive and intuitive approach, her understanding of both the dog and its owner, plus the environment they live in is unique.
Thank you Liz, I look forward to more training and progress.

We contacted liz for support with our dog Mabel due to her being very reactive and anxious when having visitors around the house. Liz was very kind and understanding and very knowledgeable on how we can support Mabel. We have already started seeing positive results with Mabel and are very thankful for Liz for all the help she’s given us :) Would highly recommend Liz! :)

Liz is amazing. One of those rare both dog people and people, people. Our dog, Bear has been transformed. The sessions were fun and informative and it was always a pleasure to be in Liz’s company. My family and I, including the cat, will be forever grateful to her (and her Dora the Explorer Style backpack!)

This is an excellent course which is very good value for money. Targets are clearly stated and met; helpful worksheets, information and videos are provided weekly. The videos are very instructive, demonstrating how to achieve a target and the reasons behind the strategies. Everything is completed in a very professional manner. Classes are small allowing Liz to give 1 to 1 support where needed. Patient and encouraging, she makes sessions enjoyable and the fact that they are held outdoors provides the right setting for training gundogs. I have no hesitation in recommending this course highly.

I have a 17 month old working cocker spaniel Archie who was proving to be very strong willed little pup. I contacted Liz after being recommended her by a friend and she did not disappoint. After 6 one to one sessions and change of diet. I have a content little pooch who is better behaved and now we move on to the gun dog training club and we cannot wait. I cannot recommend Liz enough she is awesome 👏

I adopted a rescue dog from Romania. I was out of my depth. He was a crazy, hyper dog.
Luckily I came across Liz, from DogScentric. It hasn't been a quick fix, but thanks to Liz, we have now formed a lovely bond with my dog. Liz has given me the training tools to continue our training together
Liz knows her stuff, she is patient, and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend her .
I'd like to thank liz for her help and support
From one grateful dog owner.

Liz has been helping us with our crazy high energy, but lots of love to give Labrador pup, Sully. We completed 4 sessions focused on lead walking and think we all thoroughly enjoyed the process! Liz was very knowledgeable in terms of what we can expect from Sully at this stage and has equipped me with the skills to take his training forward. Liz is so friendly, made the sessions really fun and we’d love to join a DogScentric training club in the future. Would 100% recommend this service! x

I took my 12week old Labrador,Solo, along to the Foundation course and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Solo was wagging his tail even before we had got out of the car each week.Liz was professional, but friendly and approachable. She gave good instruction backed up with written information and videos. The class was small which facilitated individual assistance where needed.I feel that Liz has equipped me well to continue building up my relationship with Solo ,but I will not hesitate to go back to her in the future for further help if I need it.I would highly recommend her classes.

Liz/Emma have been visiting my dog for a couple of months to do enrichment with him and he loves it. He enjoys the exercises and they seem to be really stimulating his brain. It's given me some ideas for things to do with him. Would definitely recommend.

I thoroughly recommend Dogscentric activity walks. Liz was completely professional and our springer cross immediately fell in love with her. She clearly has a superb understanding of working dogs' needs and how to mentally tire them. She is punctual, reliable and kept us informed of all that Willow did. I am looking forward to using Dogscentric in the future, but not as much as Willow will be looking forward to it!

I have been using Liz for a few months, for my two springer spaniels.
She is absolutely fantastic with them, very natural and such a great help with tiring them out whilst I have to work.
Extremely reliable, nothing is a problem attitude
Would highly recommend

Ronnie always looks forward to his Wednesday afternoons with Liz and the Gundog Activity Club. He has been much steadier and has learned to listen more... if you know Ronnie that’s quite an achievement!

Nigel has the most amazing time at Gundog Activity Club every week with his little pals - Liz does the most amazing job and truly loves each one like they are her own.

I thoroughly recommend Lizzie with caring for your beloved pooch, she is reliable and professional but most importantly the dogs adore her. Lizzie is providing a service which stimulates and works their brains and focuses on quality activities this sets her apart from canine walking services and is a must for me and my pooches - thank you!
