I honestly cannot rate Jo highly enough. I knew I wanted to go to a trainer who used positive reinforcement so was thrilled when I found FurryTails. Everything that’s included when you join a course makes it incredible value for money! The 6 week puppy course we did was fantastic, perfect for beginners (both me and the pup)! Jo is very informative and explains the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind everything she teaches which I found really helpful. It was great to be sent follow up videos for each of the activities we did, so that I could refresh my memory whenever needed. It was also lovely to have a group chat with the others in our group so we could share wins, struggles and the inevitable frustrations 😆. Jo is always on hand to answer any questions and the support that she has offered even after finishing the course has been second to none. I’m looking forward to doing another FurryTails course at some point. Thankyou Jo!!!

Just finished a brilliant 6-week Puppy course. Highly recommended. Jo takes so much care in the set up and the delivery of her training. The field was prepared each week with beds, water bowls and equipment for each dog and after each session we received an email recap and loads of videos. The facebook page and WhatsApp groups are great for sharing your wins and worries too. Jo taught me loads about how to train our puppy and has given me the confidence to try out new games and techniques. He's loved it and so have I. Thank you FurryTails!!

Jo is a true professional. She explains in detail each game and the reason we do the game. I can recommend her training. My puppy is now a well rounded puppy with very good obedience and that is thanks to the two courses that I have attended with Jo. Her recommendations for equipment are also excellent. The perfect fit harness is the best thing I have bought. She just advises, never pushes but explains the benefits. I can’t thank her enough I am my puppy can now move on with confidence. Wow, where do I start? Jo has taught us that there’s so much more than just taking your dog for walks. No more constantly throwing balls, no more blowing bubbles and no more laser pens. All of which I thought was entertaining my dog. Jo’s shown me alternative games that has my dog using her brain which she absolutely loves. Jo also has amazing advice on leads, harnesses, nurturing, diet and many more. I’d highly recommend Jo at Furrytails .

Jo helped us with training our new puppy, she was fab and really helped us with so many tips on how to train a young puppy. All of the enrichment ideas and suggestions were really useful, there were so many options and you can really see how important enrichment is for dogs. We joined a 6 week puppy training class (via zoom due to the pandemic) for our border terrier puppy. I wasn't sure what to expect from a virtual class but it was the best thing we could've done! Jo makes everything easy to follow and her knowledge of dogs is second to none. Jo is incredibly knowledgable but most importantly so passionate about educating owners on how to build a strong TWO-WAY relationship between dog and owner. Jo has been fantastic with my boy Marley and he absolutely LOVES being at Furry Tails day care!! The system Jo has set up is great for the dogs and the added bonus of Jo being a qualified trainer is simply a bonus!! I was having a problem with my dog barking almost aggressively every time the post man came round and it was getting worse. He would jump on to the sofa and bark from the window sill. I mentioned this to Jo who advised I distract him with treats when I am at home and to try and block his view from the living room window by either putting up a blind or worse case scenario removing the sofa from the window. We went with option 1 and since putting up the blind, Marley doesn't even know that the post man has been unless he hears the post coming through the letter box but by then he doesn't seem bothered. Jo explained to me that Marley was actually stressed and that it is best to illuminate things to ease the situation. Well the proof was in the pudding as it worked first time!! Jo has even advised me that a dogs behaviour can change for even the smallest change in their routine. So not only am I lucky enough to have Jo take such good care of my boy but she helps me to keep him happy at home too!! Thank you so much Jo, we love being apart of the Furry Tails family and I would definitely highly recommend any dog and their owner to use your services!!!

We’d had trainers in before to help us with our over excitable bulldog but had no noticeable results. Jo came round and made some very simple changes to various aspects of his life and we noticed a difference within a few days!
