Chris is a legend ! I was very worried having just moved to the UK and seen how driving seemed like in a different country . I was clear about my objectives of wanting to pass first time only . This was just a matter of weeks to my practical driving test . I contacted Chris having heard good reviews from colleagues and we had lessons . Straightaway ,he takes you through what’s expected of you as a driver . He talks you through scenarios that you may encounter and then goes on to demonstrate them to you . He is very hands on , patient and always goes over everything in detail to be sure you’re safe . He makes you confident in taking independent decisions and he’s very clear and honest in his reviews ! He monitors your progress and you’d be surprised at the next lesson how much he could remember from the last time ! Before every session , both parties know what’s going to happen on the next lesson ! Even when I felt too comfortable later on with my lessons , Chris purposely tested some manoeuvres again with more emphasis on technique and safety . They served as timely reminders and these things would stay with me always anytime I get behind the steering wheel ! I think if I could do it , you too can pass first time with Chris ! Most importantly , be a safe driver ! Thank you so much !!!

If your looking for a kind and supportive instructor, Chris is your Man! After negative experience with a different instructor, Chris built up my daughters confidence so she passed her test. She came back from lessons relaxed and happy as before she had been very stressed . Thanks Chris!

Having a less than favourable experience with learning to drive previously, at first I was apprehensive. My instructor Chris was immediately accommodating to my nerves and quickly put me at ease. Even through two lockdowns, lessons were always informative and professional. I couldn't imagine a better experience from the first time behind the wheel to passing the test. The price was fair for the instruction and lessons were flexible around my schedule. I would absolutely recommend to anybody interested in driving.

I could not recommend Chris Watts from flying colours enough. I started my driving lessons 2 years ago, and had to navigate through lockdowns and covid. I’ve had tests postponed and cancelled and without Chris I would of given up. But he kept his faith in me and kept me going, and I would never of gotten the pass without him. He always reassured me and put my mind at ease, aswell as teaching me really well and encouraging me to carry on. I am so thankful that he was my driving instructor!

I’ve just passed! Couldn’t have done without C.Watts, during lockdown I had been learning with my husband and knew I wasn’t up to test standard, managed to book Chris in this very busy time and he got me ready to pass within 4 weeks! Would 100% recommend! Very friendly and makes you feel comfortable (I’m a very anxious driver!) but if you need silence also (I’m not great at multi tasking!) he’s great at assessing your needs and while driving. So happy I managed to book him , I’m 8.5 months pregnant also with 2 year old and needed to drive ASAP!

Everything I could have wanted in an instructor. The car was set up above and beyond the average learner cars I have experienced. I originally I went with the AA but they failed to help me gain confidence on the road, if anything I found myself questioning everything I was doing and I was making endless mistakes as a result. I contacted Flying Colours and never looked back. My instructor from Flying Colours was Amy Taylor and on the very first lesson I could tell that she was a superior instructor. Yesterday, I passed with flying colours and not only did I save money doing so, I found it fun! If you dredge your lessons then you should definitely give Flying Colours a go! 10/10 Jonathan is really good driving instructor. He is thorough, stricter than the examiners, so he knows if you will pass or not. I passed 1st time with only 1 minor fault. I cannot thank Jonathan enough for all the help he has given me to prepare for my practical driving test. He has a good sense of humour, which makes passing the test easier, and his funny mnemonics such as POM (Prepare, observe, manoeuvre). THANK YOU
