What a great experience learning to drive with Lee. He is such a good instructor - super friendly and encouraging, he makes the stressful experience so easy and pleasant. I've had a fair few drivers whilst trying to learn and can safely say that Lee is the best I've been too by a long way. Lee provides an excellent service by being a very approachable guy with the patience to match. He listens to specific needs or driving worries and is able to adjust to them, giving the student the confidence to continue. Being so approachable, he invites you to ask as many questions as possible to make sure you're comfortable with every aspect of driving. Through his tutorage I can boast that I passed my driving test first time. I couldn't recommend Lee's Learners enough and would advise anyone looking to learn to contact Lee.

I have been with quite afew driving instructors in the past but Lee by far was the best instructor I had, I was quite an anxious driver but lee was brilliant! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lee to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Firstly he’s very personable and good company, so lessons were enjoyable and I always felt comfortable in the car. He’s excellent and patient at teaching which is good if you’re a bit nervous at first. Lessons were thorough and well-structured to make sure you get the full range of skills you need to become a good driver. He’s also flexible in tailoring lessons to your own needs so you feel like you’re progressing at a pace that’s good for you - not spending needless time on areas you’re already happy with, or on the flip side spending more time to build confidence in areas which you’re taking longer to get the hang of. As a result I always felt like I was being nicely challenged but never rushed through the learning process. Closer to the test itself Lee is really knowledgable and great at making sure you know what to expect and feel as well-prepared as possible. Communication over text was always speedy. Overall, I couldn’t fault my experience learning to drive with Lee, and am so pleased that I was recommended him by a friend. I had two refresher lessons with Lee a few months ago and would highly recommend him as a driving instructor. Having not driven for 5 years since I passed my test I was really anxious before but Lee was super encouraging and I felt immediately at ease with him. He is a great driving teacher and is also very kind and supportive which really helped to build my confidence. I've had instructors in the past who encouraged me to have lots and lots of lessons but Lee was the total opposite, he was honest and decent enough to say after two lessons that I was ready to go! Considering my nerves, I would have easily been convinced to have more but Lee made me realise I could start being more confident in my ability to drive. Passed my test today and would never have been able to do it without Lee's help! I went through multiple instructors who I struggled to learn under before I went to Lee. He was amazing at identifying what I was struggling at and adapting his methods so I could learn in a way that made the most sense to me. He does a brilliant job of getting you into a great routine so that even if you have a lot of anxiety or nerves about driving (like myself) that you can fall back on the strong fundamentals that he teaches you to overcome these struggles. If you want to learn how to drive in a safe way and pass your test quickly, you must contact Lee! Super-mega-ultra-highly recommended!! ;D I've been wasting my time on pointless lessons with another instructors that didn't explain properly how to do the manouevres, and in a point I felt myself loosing confidence until I almost gave up. After that, I got in touch with Lee and since the very first lesson he encouraged me to carry on! Having the lessons with him was always reassuring. He is constantly aware on how to improve your driving techniques, boosting your confidence and giving you useful tips to remember. He is definitely good at what he does! Lee is a great instructor. I had a previous a instructor from the AA when I initially started lessons and I was introduced to stuff too quickly such as roundabouts. I felt really overwhelmed and it made me rather anxious behind the wheel. Lee however put me at ease and is a clear and effective communicator who is very reassuring. He makes you go at your own pace which I think is a really important aspect when learning to drive. I would highly recommend.

Without a doubt, Lee is the driving instructor you're looking for. From the off he makes you feel calm and comfortable and builds a fantastic rapport making driving lessons both fun and practical. Unlike many other companies in Brighton, if you book Lee you get Lee, not palmed off onto other instructors within the company. His lessons are always straight to the point and he will constantly push you to be doing the best you can do, not just let you sit at a comfortable level for weeks on end. He is extremely trustworthy and will always endeavour to give you everything you've paid for, if you come back from a lesson five minutes early you can guarantee it will added onto the next one. I have enjoyed every minute of my time in the car with Lee, learning at a great pace and enjoying myself while doing it. Book early, everyone wants him!

Superlative!!! Lee is an excellent and very professional driving instructor with a very high standard, not to mention his warm and genuine approach in dealing with his students. After failing my first test from a different driving school, I lost my confidence in driving. Until a friend of mine highly recommended Lee's Learner driving school. He said he had learned from different schools and failed few times until Lee got on his case and eventually passed with flying colours and with much confidence. Lee doesn't just teach you what you need to know about driving, he also boosts your confidence in driving, teaches you about eco-driving and help you develop critical thinking whilst on the road. He also goes above and beyond (offering to teach you even at his precious times) to help you achieve your goal. As a result, In less than 20 hours of lessons, (after 5 months of no practise) he has prepared me well for my test today which I passed with only two minor faults. So if you want to be a confident, sharp, and safe driver with a very high chance of passing your test (its attempt) in a short time....book your lessons with Lee.

Lee was the 3rd driving instructor I had, after being taught by 2 different instructors (who were with AA, and both worryingly fond of sexist jokes). In the first lesson he picked up on a number of driving habits I'd developed that hadn't been caught by my previous instructor. He's fantastically organised, and honest and up front about the number of lessons he felt I needed from the beginning; I'm sure many instructors would have tried to squeeze out another few hours from me! If anyone is wanting to learn to drive I couldn't recommend Lee Dixon enough. I had no confidence, no experience at all before I went to him. He gave me so much confidence and convinced me that I Can do it. From the first lesson it wasn't easy for me but Lee was patient all the time when I made mistakes. Driving the first time with Lee was a complete confidence booster, replacing any worries about the next lesson with excitement! It wasn't just his skills as a teacher but the ease to be around him and make the lessons interesting.
