Highly recommended! Can’t thank Jay enough, with not a lot of time before my test date, he managed to squeeze me in for lessons on a weekly basis. I travelled every week from London, and Jay made it very easy for me, by picking me up from the train station and dropping me off at the end off the lessons. For people around Colchester, you won’t get any better than Pass It!, and even if you’re traveling there, they will make sure your trip was worth. They also use a very user-friendly app in which you can track your progress after every lesson and know exactly which areas have to be reviewed or the ones that you’re already comfortable with. Chris is an amazing driving instructor especially if you are a nervous driver. He makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Today I passed with one minor and I wouldn’t of been able to do it without Chris. Thank you so much.

Pass It quite literally helped me pass it! If you’re looking for good fun lessons that help you learn, escape the crippling reality of life with support & kind guidance in driving & then actually pass your driving test, learn with Pass It! I had Jay as my instructor & if he can teach someone like me to pass a driving test, he could teach you easily! Pass It! Is an excellent driving academy that I strongly recommend to literally anyone, & I mean ANYONE. Just turned 17 & fancy getting out there? Pass It! Maybe you’re like me & lagged behind in the ol’ motoring achievement? Pass It! Perhaps you’re in your late 70’s & want to relearn & pass a driving test again because you like to be good at things? PASS IT! Whatever your reason to learn to drive, you should be doing so with these guys! In all seriousness, I really really appreciate all the hours learning & working on my driving skills that I could not have done if it weren’t for Pass It! Jay in my particular case, so, Thank you! ☺️

The Pass it school made all the admin bits easy- flexibility, schedule of lessons, progress tracker, theory help and automated text reminders for lessons. Jay is great and I learnt with Chris who was flexible, reassuring but absolutely honest and great sense of humour which was needed! He acknowledged my anxiety but without feeding into it, knew when I needed to be pushed and not once did he get ruffled, impatient or even slightly irritated at having to repeat his instructions constantly. After various adhoc lessons in various parts of the country over the last 15 years with little success, Pass it helped me to Pass it!!!! Thank you and cannot recommend this driving school enough!

I couldn’t recommend this driving school more, my instructor was professional and taught me to a standard that made me pass with only 2 minors while making me feel comfortable throughout. I started off as an extremely unconfident driver and dreaded even going to the lessons and a couple months later I looked forward to the lessons and was able to follow any route. These instructors will make anyone feel comfortable and road ready in no time!

I passed my driving test today with just 2 minor faults. A big big thank to my great instructor Jay Stepney! I strongly recommend him, he’s been incredibly patient but at the same time rightly very strict, always encouraging and very nice. I am a ‘senior’ who finally decided rather late in life that after all a driving licence can be useful. Thanks to Jay I passed from being an absolute zero on the road to being a confident driver, so I hope my experience can encourage other people like me, not exactly young.

Very enjoyable learning experience, always look forward to each lesson I have. Offers a variety of techniques to use to help the learner find which bests suits them. Instructor is very easy to get on with and always helps as much he can, helped me a lot with building my confidence while driving which made the experience as good as possible.
