b. m.I was fortunate enough to have Ian as my driving instructor. I was a driver starting with absolutely no experience, and therefore struggled to take everything in. However Ian is very patient and allows you to learn at your comfortable paste. He is extremely timely and professional and knows exactly what he's doing allowing you to feel comfortable. C. L.Look no further for a driving instructor in Colchester. From the get go, Ian was incredibly patient with me as a very nervous driver, and helped me gain confidence in my ability very quickly. I passed both my theory and practical test first time, all down to Ian's calm approach to teaching. I will definitely come back to Ian if I need any top up lessons before I own a car or for extra motorway practice. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor.
J. R.What can I say about the experience I had with The Ministry of Driving? Due to work pressures I had five days to learn how to operate a car and Ian made sure I went from having never sat behind the wheel of a car to being fully safe on the road in a matter of hours.
Ian is an extremely experienced instructor and it shows. I passed my test within five days of starting and I don't think there are many others out there who could do that.

This helped me pass my driving test on the first go. As well as giving me skills to pass my driving test he gave me much help to become a good and especially a safe driver. He is very organised and reliable, his arrival time for our lessons were always perfect to the minute and he gave helpful reminder texts before our lessons. k. a.It is as it is advertised...attention to details, more than 10 years of experience, master of practice and test routes, flexible lessons, i did have a warm feeled atmosphere even as my time with ian was in the winter, he is prompt, meticulous, no risk taking, i will strongly recommend Ian as he tutored me from practice to test within 2 months and i passed at first test with only 2 faults out of 12 allowed that is 98% pass rate, awesome I am pleased and wish Ian all the best.
