After having a bad experience with my previous instructor a friend had told me about U-drive. Rob is a great instructor who is patient and kind. He always encouraged me and made me feel at ease. Couldn't of asked for a better instructor and thanks to him I passed first time!!

After my son being bullied by a previous driving instructor, I came across u drive rang and spoke to kev told him all about the previous company and my son. Kev assured me his drivers were there to build people's confidence not knock them down. He gave us Tony Mckeswick from day one he's been brilliant with bobby happy to say he passed and I ran out and jumped on tony. Top bloke and first class driving school. My instructor was Kevin. After disappointed by my previous driving instructor, I then started doing lessons with Kevin. I did 6 mock tests in total and I improved after each time. Kevin was also very patient though I made a lot of silly mistakes at the beginning and with his encouragement, it built my confidence in driving. Passed first time with udrive! Highly recommended!

I had my test today at the Gosforth center and I passed with no driver faults thanks to my instructor Sandra who has been nothing but brilliant every time we had a lesson. I had never driven before and I was anxious to start learning and being on the road. Sandra made it easy for me to develop my skills and gave me great support. I recommend U Drive 100% and I recommend Sandra's services. She also helped my best friend to pass from her first attempt and she is now a lovely and safe new driver. They are a very professional team who will not dissapoint.

After trying driving lessons in the past I never felt as comfortable and like I was improving as much as I did with these Kev. Passed first time with Tony. He is an excellent instructor, who is patient and knowledgeable. He was attentive and always happy to go over each manoeuvre or roundabout until I got it. Took me about 50 hours. Lessons were 2 hours each which I found much better than 1, gives you more time to get used to driving. Highly recommend U-Drive and Tony to anyone interested in driving.

FIRST TIME PASS! My instructor Kevin is very professional and patient. The course covered all driving skills in UK and was reasonably arranged. Before the test, I practiced a total of 6 mock tests. After each mock test, Kevin would help me summarise the problems and practiced the next time, which was very helpful to me. I passed the test at Gosforth test centre on 12th September, 2020. The test route is completely what we usually practiced. Thank you very much Kevin and U Drive. Highly recommended!

Having never driven before and being in my 40s, I was anxious about learning to drive. I needn't have been. Kev made me feel comfortable, safe and gave me self belief that I could do it. I never once felt worried and trusted him to get me through my test. He was patient and kind and explained things so well that when it came to my test I was confident in my ability. I cannot thank him or give him enough praise. If you are looking to learn to drive you could do no better than u-drive. Ive told him he can't retire for a while as he needs to teach my daughters. I would highly recommend U-drive my instructor was Iain he was professional, friendly and patient also a lovely person to be around. I sufferer from dyslexia which affects my memory and low moods due to my issues. Had a license for a couple of years from abroad but had not driven since passing the test. Performed around 16 hours of refresher lessons with Kevin. I must say Kevin is possibly the nicest, most patient, most talented and knowledeable driving instructor I have ever had the fortune of driving with. I had tremendous anxiety about getting back behind the wheel and Kevin has significantly boosted my confidence. He is calm and patient and explains everything eloquently and often employs the use of pictorials on his iPad and/or draws on it to show you what you did wrong and how you should have approached a certain junction, roundabout etc. Kevin is the owner of the driving school, however I know that all his instructors have been personally hand picked to meet his very high standards of teaching and interaction with students. Don't get me wrong, getting behind the wheel of my own car afterwards was tremendously frightening without having him there for peace of mind, but the good foundation he has layed in me in terms of driving knowledge and skill has kept me safe on the road despite how frightening it will have been at the start, and now I am happy to say I commute daily around 13 miles back and forth to my workplace and am happy with my level of driving. Thank you once again for everything Kevin and U-Drive.

Can not thank this company enough. Iian was amazing. Before my lessons with him I had been driving my own car and wasn't confident enough to reverse at all. After two lessons I was able to go back to driving my car and practise reversing with what I'd been taught and I'm now a confident driver.
