I honestly couldn't recommend Davy enough, he is an excellent driving instructor, always very professional but has a bit of craic too and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Davy is very thorough and organised and ensures every aspect of learning to drive is covered and well taught, not only for the test but beyond that too. I am very grateful to him for teaching me how to drive safely and getting a first time pass 😆

I absolutely cannot recommend Davy enough! He’s taught my sister and myself (another sister is keen to start too!). Davy took me from a nervous wreck to a confident driver. I had several bad habits that Davy needed to help me break and he did it with patience. He took the time to explain why you do certain things when driving, instead of a ‘do this for the exam’ attitude. The focus was always on making you a safe driver for the future not just for a test! On a personal note, I’ll really miss our lessons, we always had a laugh! I don’t know many people who say they looked forward to their driving lessons, but I did. Thanks so much Davy for all your help, I’m so grateful!

Davy is a first class instructor and a gentleman. Not only does he help you pass your test, he helps you become a safe & confident driver post test. From day one he made me feel safe & calm as he is very patient and supportive. He explains everything so well that it really does stick in your head and he checks your understanding throughout each lesson. He asked me why I wanted to drive and when I answered he said “let’s do this” and we did.!!!! Each and every lesson brought motivation determination & lots of laughs. All made possible by Davy. Driving with Davy was a joy, I had been put off for years after beginning lessons when I was younger with a bad instructor and can only wish that I had gone out with Davy the first time round. His instruction was flawless, the flexibility he showed when things had to be moved was exemplary and the dedication to his students cannot be matched, everyone I personally who has been out with him passed first time. A true gent, a laugh and a fantastic instructor. And remember a green light is just a red light in disguise.

I came to Davy from another instructor. Davy is professional, patient, knowledgeable, efficient, funny and the best instructor you'll ever meet. I have bad anxiety and Davy made me feel calm and in control. Even when I had a panic attack at the wheel, he got me through it. I was very nervous. He took time to explain everything using various methods, as we all learn differently. Every lesson was enjoyable. We definitely had some laughs! I passed on my second attempt and I haven't stopped crying since lol!I would whole heartedly recommend Davy as a driving instructor.

I passed my test in March after learning to drive with Davy and Aimtopass in the automatic car. I was a very nervous driver but throughout all my time with Davy he was an outstanding Driving Instructor who helped me so much with his encouragement and instruction. Due to the excellent teaching, confidence building and cheesy jokes lol, Davy help me pass my theory and practical test first time. He’s clear when giving instructions and gives constructive criticism. When a lesson went well I always left feeling I had improved and when it didn’t, he’d explain in detail what went wrong and gave excellent tips and advice so I wouldn’t make the same mistake. Amazing that’s all I can say about Davy, this man helped me so much I passed my test 4 years ago and drove about 10 times but I could never relax and gave up, under no circumstances was I ever going to drive again until I got a gift of a lesson in an automatic car with Davy even then I put it off until the voucher nearly ran out, my intention was use it up and forget about the dreaded driving but Davy talked me through it and had the greatest of patience with me and I’m pleased to say with help I’ve been driving on my own for a week now and actually enjoying it , so if your learning to drive or like me a nervous wreck even after passing a test this is your man AMAZING INSTRUCTOR
