I have been a keen motorcyclist for many years and always believed in the benefits of good training, both for safety and overall enjoyment. I made contact with Suffolk Riders and quickly became aware of how dynamic and active the group is. By far the best motorcycle group I've been involved with. Great members, well structured training and excellent social events.

Well structured training in a friendly environment. I encouraged my wife to join as she was returning to riding after many years of pillion. She was guided through the training by Keith & passed her test two years ago. She gained confidence and ability & now rides her KTM 790 Duke beautifully........swift but safe. I’d been motorcycling for 42 years before I took up the RoSPA training with Suffolk Riders, to support my wife, and admit that I was slightly sceptical. However, I learnt so much and now enjoy my riding much more. I feel more confident, more in control of situations and machine & definitely ride so much better. Should have done it years ago.

I joined Suffolk Riders after attending a Safe Rider workshop with Suffolk Police. It was always my intention to do some advanced rider training, but I did not realise how transformative the training would be. I would highly recommend Suffolk Riders to any rider, as ultimately you will become a faster, smoother & safer rider. There is also a large social element to the group so if you also enjoy group rides, or are looking for like-minded people to ride with and enjoy trips and tours, then look no further.

Fantastic group to be part of. The training massively improves awareness and machine handling skills and there is a real camaraderie and mutual respect amongst the members. When I first joined I was concerned that there would be a load of speed freaks and I would be left to feel like a complete novice but the group is really welcoming of all abilities. Want to improve your riding skills and meet two-wheeled enthusiasts who share your passion? Then this is the group for you.

I joined Suffolk Riders in October 2019 and within a month I was allocated a tutor. During the winter we met up regularly for one to one training sessions which were usually made up of approximately 50 miles of a variety of roads and a debrief over a coffee. March lockdown put the anchors on for three months and then the training resumed. In early October I did the check ride with a senior tutor and was recommended to take the ROSPA Advanced Riders test which took place on 3rd November achieving a silver pass. Along with the training there were monthly group meetings which have been cancelled during the pandemic. A monthly newsletter throughout, group training and social rides have continued when allowed. All of which are with the main aim of making you safer on the road along with an enjoyable easy going social side. I would recommend this group to anyone, especially the younger generation, it's been a pleasure.

I am so pleased to have joined the Suffolk Riders to improve my riding skills and for the social side of motorcycling. The knowledge and riding techniques I have learned have given me more confidence on the road and are used each time I ride, there is always a lot of chat and banter to be enjoyed each time the group meet!

ExcellentGroup, follows the Police system of advanced motorcycle training. 1 to 1 tutoring, and Group Training rides. Friendly members and regular group social rideouts in U.K. and abroad. All volunteers but a professional standard, and great value for money!

Suffolk Riders have saved my life, literally. The training I received enabled me to avoid a nasty situation in which a car did something stupid and I had the tools to be able to avoid it. It's also friendly with good rideout and regular training sessions.
