Data Academy Ltd is the go-to company in the UK for drivers if you want outstanding customer service, excellent value for money and quality instruction of the highest standard. They managed to get me in the next week for a C1 practical test and I passed first time with them, after having failed with two other companies. I put it all down to the instructors. Dale's intuitive teaching technique helped me calm down and he corrected everything I was doing wrong that other instructors before didn't notice. His friendly, calm approach is what got me through. Phil was amazing as well on test day and gave some finishing touches in my pre test drive while also helping with nerves, and I'm sure all the other instructors are just as brilliant. The whole team was fantastic and friendly from the get go. I cant recommend this company enough to anyone wanting their certificate!

Just completed my Cat C training. Found all the staff really helpful. My trainer, Eddie, explained everything I needed to know to drive safely and professionally. His explanations were well explained and easy to follow and enabled me to pass both CPC and practical driving test. Would recommend Data Academy and will use them again when I move to the next stage (C+E). Update as of 18/01/2022: I have now completed the next stage and passed my C+E. Again everyone was really friendly and helpful. I had Phil as an instructor this time. Really helped me to understand everything and clearly explained how and why when giving explanations. I have had a fantastic experience with Data Academy. The instructors are first class at getting across information simply and effectively. All the staff are great fun and were hugely supportive to me. They worked hard to align my training package to my particular needs (I am somewhat articulatedly challenged going backwards!!) including those instructors that weren't even mine and the folk in the office. I would like to share with you the two most important bits of advice Data Academy gave me for the C + E test that I think were responsible for getting me through my test. 1. Curbs are like driving instructors, you may touch them, stroke them, kiss them, flirt with them, rub yourself up against them, wrap yourself seductively around them......but you musn't get caught mounting one during your test (thank you, Roger). I brazenly did more than my fair share of all of these things during my test and and learned immense levels of self control in the process. 2. If you have never handled air lines before, you need to know that they have a very 'male anatomy' about them. If you require more detail than this (as I did), you need to get on the course and Eddie will explain how best to manage them - they seem to have minds of their own but you'll soon have them back under control. I have been more popular in the last 3 weeks than I have in the last 6 months! Thank you Eddie! I can't recommend Data Academy enough.

Data Academy took me through my Class 2 HGV training from my initial enquiry through to passing my test. From the start I was immediately at easy with their help, friendliness and professionalism. They gave me advice every step of the way, both when asked for and not (helping with things I wasn't aware of). The office team of Ric, Dorian and Jez are fantastic and organised things very quickly for me to get my qualification. they offered various services but never pushed their own business, even saying I could look around at what other companies were offering regarding training. They would text message me with reminders and how things were going and wish me luck.... Needless to say I was very happy with every aspect of the training from the CPC with Mark, organising my theory tests for me then with the instructor Roger who took me on my assessment drive. His decision on what I needed to pass the practical test was spot on. Steve was my instructor for the four days driving before my test and he was a diamond - so helpful and professional - giving me a lot of confidence learning to drive a class 2 lorry and instilling a lot of "good habits" to be able to be safe on the road. On the morning of the test I had a different instructor, Chris, which was great as that prepared me for driving with a different person - the examiner. Chris was great as well, coping with my "pre-test" nerves. Due to the great efforts of the Data Academy team I passed both my theory and practical tests first time. I would recommend Data Academy every time and without hesitation to anybody who wants to get into all classes of HGV driving. They are a fantastic bunch of people who take pride in what they do and really care about the people they train. Thank you for everything guys!!

I wanted to be the star of the show, but that accolade goes to (DA03 HGV) the staff at Data Academy. Real positive and down to earth with no pressure sales tactics. I was lucky enough to do my Class 2 rigid and CPC training and all of the instructors were brilliant, whilst backed up by Dorian and Rachel in the office. You wont regret joining them, but you will regret going elsewhere. Obviously you can already drive if you want to do an HGV course, so go forth and conquer; its just another steering wheel.

They have been excellent right from start. Make u feel comfortable and excellent service. Instructors are quite experienced. I had Eddie and Phil for my driving lessons. Eddie was bit strict with me but it help me get rid of my bad habits of driving. Phil made me more comfortable and ease me in to my driving, just ticking all when I went wrong and reminding my mistakes and make sure I learn from my mistakes and don't repeat them. They will always there if you any questions regarding test or other general questions regarding the vehicles.

My training with data academy was 100% I cannot fault this company from first contact all the way through to my pass. The company took me through everything I needed to do to gain a class 2 licence, I felt at ease and all the staff at data academy were very professional yet very easy to talk to and answered everything I asked. When I called Data Academy I spoke to Jez. She was very laid back and gave me all the information I needed without forcing me into booking with this company. The team was very welcoming and I felt at ease as soon as a walked into the office. Dorian was hilarious and was laughing at my middle name “pepper” with the team. I needed to get a B+E category to tow my trailer (catering trailer). After a quick browse online for the driving schools in Leicester and a few phone calls and conversation with Dorian it was a no-brainer to go with Data Academy driving school. I was really pleased for the package I got for the money I paid. The most important thing for me was the ability to use companies truck and trailer and the best thing - it is all included in the price, where the other companies charged extra for using their trucks and fuel!! I have just passed my test with a minimum amount of faults for which I can say a massive thank you to my driving instructor Chris! Top class people!! Excellent company for your LGV/HGV licence! In less than a week the guys got me through my theory and my C1 licence. I started with the theory classes (2 day) at their office with Eddie and that made the difference in me passing! Jez got me booked in that weekend in a local test centre. I then came back the next week and worked with Dale for 2 days (4 hours each) and the instruction was fantastic! Simple, easy to follow and accurate! Phil took me out the hours before my test and really settled my nerves and got me switched on and focused. I passed with only 1 minor fault! Dorian and Jez are fantastic along with the rest of the guys at Data Academy! 100% recommend them and their classes/lessons, so professional and supportive!
