Gautam is the BEST. I passed my practical driving test yesterday - first time with only 2 minors. He was so supportive in all my lessons, and is so kind and patient. He helped me progress at the perfect rate, not rushing things but also not having too many repetitive lessons. He always made sure I was comfortable with my progress and regularly checked to see if I had any questions. I would always look forward to my lessons and he made me LOVE driving. I feel so much more confident and safer on the road. I couldn’t recommend him more!

I passed my driving test from Wigston test centre today. Gautam has been both my instructor and mentor, he not only taught me driving but helped me with my confidence and anxiety. I must begin by saying that I have had driving instructors before him and have had bad experiences with some as well as good experiences with others but out of the 6 instructors I have taken lessons from he was by FAR the BEST. I wish I had him from the very beginning because I'm sure he would have taught me extremely well from the get go. I have attempted the driving test a total of 10 times at both Wigston and Cannock street test centers and mainly failed due to extreme anxiety that I experienced during the test( I passed the 11th attempt). Gautam taught me to not only overcome the anxiety I faced but also generally remain extremely calm when my surroundings make me feel anything but. I have never come across a teacher as good or as caring about his students as Gautam. He is passionate about what he does and his guidance and advice is something that will help me and stay with me throughout my driving career. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been taught by him. He always made time for lessons when it was convenient for me. And most importantly he never gave up on me. Every time I had a test available on short notice he was always very accommodating and always tried his best to make sure I was able to give the test as soon as possible. Whenever I grew frustrated with not passing (as I had been doing lessons overall for almost 3 years throughout lockdowns and the birth of my daughter), he would encourage me not to give up and he had full confidence in my abilities. He was kind and patient and generally just wonderful.

Gautam is a genius driving instructor! I PASSED with no Faults!! Back in October 21 I was completely broke due to 2 failures in driving test. I was earlier with another driving institute and kept doing classes but wasnt confident for the next test. We fortunately found Driving innovation site and the reviews were very promissing. By just taking around 7-8 classes with Gautam I was extremely confident in driving. He made me a good driver not just for passing the test but for lifetime. He will not just take classes but also show the right process to follow for every decision to be taken. An absolutely brilliant driving school! Highly recommend :) Gautam is an absolutely brilliant teacher and taught me all the way from zero experience to passing my test today - and despite lockdowns and months away from Leicester he made sure lessons were always available when I got back. One aspect of lessons that Gautam makes clear is that they're not just to pass the test but rather to build a lifelong skill that you will always have, and this comes across in every aspect of learning with him - it's made me feel really comfortable with driving! I think probably the most important aspect about his approach to lessons is he really cares about your learning and progression above anything else. Before one lesson I had received some bad news and was in a really confused headspace that impacted my driving massively - and halfway into the lesson I was making mistakes I never usually did and I felt like everything was going downhill. He quickly realized what was up, we stopped the car and he gave me some really good advice and helped me to calm down - and depsite the fact I had used over an hour of his time for the lesson he didn't charge me a penny for it and instead added the hours to my next block of lessons. Thats a teacher that really cares about his students, and thats exactly the teacher Gautam is. I can't recommend Gautam and Driving Innovation enough - an amazing school that sets you up for success in every possible way!

Learning to drive has been an argeous task during the countries several lockdowns and booking the right instructor and test is now more difficult than ever. One single entity for me who has made learning to drive confidently both informative and fun, that person is Gautam at Driving Innovation. From the moment I spoke to him on the telephone he put me at ease and we formed a connection and an instant trust that dissolved any anxiety that I may have had about getting behind the wheel. I passed on the 14th of April 2022 with 1 minor fault with less lessons than required. I believe this is down to Gautams ability to read his students and uniquely mould his teaching style to fit that of the individual. I was recommended Driving Innovation by a friend and I can’t thank her enough i do not understand how to deal with roundabouts. Gautam quickly understood my anxiety and started explaining roundabouts in such a simple way that I can now do them with full confidence. He is very patient and creates a very calming atmosphere to learn and enjoy driving. He can also be firm where needed but never angry. He has a wicked sense of humour too, which takes all the stress out. Due to my working pattern, he scheduled lessons around it. Gautam is the best instructor you can get! I gave my test in wigston and would recommend driving innovation to anybody who is doing it in Leicester. I initially trained with 'A......' academy and that instructor was awfully rude and money minded.My confidence was really shattered with her however with Gautam,from day 1 I felt confident. He explains all the basics to you.He will tell you the specifics till you are perfect at difficult scenarios.He is not teaching you just for the test day but to make you safe on the road,which is the most important thing! He is patient and very attentive to your problem areas in your driving.he goes through everything patiently with you and even explains things using diagrams...which are sooo helpful. He makes driving comfortable and helps you calm your nerves with his amazing innovative ways! Highly recommend if you want to be a safe,confident driver!

I was so lucky to know Gautam of Driving Innovation. After arrived UK for 6 months, I decided to have my own car so I can drive around to know Leicester more. I have not drive over 20 years. Passed my test today only after learning from Gautam for around 3 weeks! He is truly passionate and dedicated in what he does - you can tell this guy teaches from the heart. He truly cares for each learner, he makes the effort of getting to know you and adapts his teaching style to your learning needs. For example, I am a very visual person so Gautam would draw concepts out on his tablet and it sticks really well with me. He is also very organised - keeps a progress record of each learner, it was so satisfying to see my trajectory. Well, how to start! When I started driving I was so nervous, would have panic attacks in the car and often pull out of lessons due to anxiety. Gautam, was so patient with me! Driving Innovation and Gautam are a fantastic driving school and instructor. I had a very little amount of time to learn to drive due to having my test booked in Leicester, but had just accepted a job down in Cambridge. Firstly Gautam accepted me with only two weeks to get test ready, after understanding my situation and that due to the back log of tests, if I was not ready for the test it may be sometime before I could take another. Lessons were always planned accordingly and focused very much on the things that we both felt I needed to work on. Gautam was able to work with me and get me test ready within the two weeks and resulting in me passing first time. He was extremely considerate and patient whenever mistakes were made during a lesson and always explained how I could become a better driver etc. He gave me the confidence I needed on the test day as I did begin to think that maybe I was out of my depth in terms of learning in two weeks. However the confidence and guidance given clearly worked allowing me to pass first time. Couldn't recommend Gautam or Driving Innovation enough, they care, they teach well and Gautam is all in all a top bloke. Definitely recommend!

Teaching people to drive is clearly Gautam's passion, and I am glad that he was the one who taught me to drive. He taught me to drive not just to pass the test - but for everyday life. I first began learning to drive ten years ago, and my experience left me extremely nervous and anxious to ever attempt again - to the extent that I panicked every time I merely sat behind the wheel. Knowing that I couldn't avoid it forever, I contacted some driving schools in the Leicester area and didn't hear anything, especially when I mentioned my apprehensions around driving. I came across Gautam and Driving Innovation through their reviews. Many people they had helped pass had been in the same situation as me. I sent him an email and he got straight back to me and we organised lessons in a manual car. My first lessons were amazing - and Gautam coached me from panic to be able to do the basics. He was patient, and let me go at my own speed and choose my own goals for the lesson. He never pushed me, or forced me to go outside of my comfort zone but all the while encouraging me to take the next step. He believed in me from the beginning - even when I didn't. After many weeks, I was still feeling some panic and did not feel safe or happy driving. I spoke to Gautam, and we discussed the reasons for how I felt, and how he and I could work together to combat them. One day, he suggested I try and drive an automatic. He was never pushy or made me do anything I didn't want to do - he talked through all the options, pros and cons and I decided to try it. It was amazing, and Gautam's support and knowledge was really helpful, he understood my needs even before I did. A few months (and many many parking attempts) later and I passed on my first attempt. As an experienced teacher, Gautam understands his learners and will work with them to help them learn. As a very visual learner he was more than happy to show me as many pictures and drawings as I needed to understand, and do the same manoeuvre over and over until I felt happy. His communication was always excellent and he was always honest about his availability, my areas of strengths and weaknesses, how many lessons he thought I needed, and my progression. He taught me to believe in myself, and learning to drive has made me infinitely more confident.

Guatum is an excellent driving instructor. His qualities are ideal for dealing with nervy beginner drivers. Where so I start, during this pandemic everyone was struggling to book their practical tests Gautam sorted all this out for me, he also prepared me for the practical test as I was in need of a driving instructor at that time. With 20 hours to cover Gautam went through all my weak points one thing I struggled with was roundabouts Gautam explained this topic to me in many different ways and made sure I understood how roundabouts works and the theory behind it. He was a very flexible instructor as i was busy preparing for uni he worked around my busy times and made sure I understood everything about the safety of the roads. His teaching method truly makes you understand the roads, he will make you feel comfortable and will not mind if you ask him to repeat himself. Thank you so much Gautam and the innovation team!!! Was a little bit apprehensive about having only booked that as i knew one hour would have been classed as my test too. I had my first driving lesson with Gautam on my 17th birthday and was extremely nervous to be on the roads. Right from the beginning, Gautam made me feel so comfortable and relaxed when driving. When I first began, my main barrier was my nerves, however Gautam went to great efforts to get me past this stage. I completed my lessons in 3/4 weeks, and after only a month of being 17 passed my test with only one minor! This is all without any doubt thanks to Gautam! I enjoyed all of my lessons, and there was never a time where i felt uncomfortable or unhappy. For every single thing i did that was correct, Gautam would always praise me for it and give positivity. I felt that the way Gautam teaches was the best way i could of been taught, with calm and positive vibes and explaining every single thing i needed to do. I was always reminded on my lessons that stressing is only going to make the situation worse, which i found really helped me think more positively about my test. Not only that, i found that I have taken away from my driving lessons some general life skills as well. I needed to get my driving license ASAP. It was very important to me as I needed it to keep my job. First I booked an assessment course with Gautam and I immediately knew that he is the instructor for me. He was always honest with me, sometimes could seem harsh and firm but I liked his way of teaching. It helped me not only to become a good and safe driver on the road but also how to keep going in life. I have booked 30 hours semi-intensive course with Gautam. I started from SCRATCH and was test ready in about 4 weeks. I took my driving exam after 26 hours and smashed it the first time. I was stressed, yes. But Gautam kept reminding me how good driver I am and that I could do it. If someone is not afraid of pointing out your mistakes and being honest with you when you are not doing well, it means a lot when you actually get this right. Gautam thank you very much, definitely going to recommend 10/10.

I'm so glad I did this. I had previous driving experience from years ago. I would do one lesson a week but I felt like I wasn't progressing at all. I did a two week course, of 30 hours with Driving Innovation and it was money well spent as I passed first time!! My instructor Shaun was fantastic. He's a great guy and was so patient with me. He really boosted my confidence as I was such a nervous driver. I had booked my practical in at Hinckley Driving Test Centre, so we spent most of the 30 hours in Hinckley and surrounding areas. He knew exactly what to do to build up my confidence and skills, both in theory and practice. Pete, what a star....after only a few hours of training got me through my Part 2 ADI test with a clean sheet and a massive smile. Not one error, how many instructors can do that! After I failed a test with another instructor and being 35 I decided driving wasn't for me! I heard about driving innovation and thought il give it another go. I'm so glad I did from the very start at inquiry stage Colin gave me all the Information i needed and did not put on a hard sell like the others. He made it clear I could contact him with any questions or queries. Kesh my driving instructor was amazing, he instantly made me feel at ease he is very patient and gave me the time I needed and was very flexible with lessons. I had previous bad luck with a driving instructor, but when i found Driving Innovation the whole experience from start to finish was excellent! After enquiring on the website, i received a speedy response from the team. I then chose a 20hr intensive course and Kesh was more than happy to tailor the lessons around my work and Uni. Kesh is very easy going and made me feel relaxed from the very first lesson. There was an element of fun throughout and everything was explained thoroughly no matter how many silly questions i asked! Kesh always asks what you feel like your weaknesses are so the lessons are done to suit your needs rather than having an unproductive and rigid plan. Kesh is always up for a laugh which made learning to drive enjoyable rather than daunting. I cannot recommend Driving Innovation enough and hope this review helps others who are currently in the same position i was a few weeks back. I truly believe i couldn't have PASSED FIRST TIME - NO FAULTS without his help!!! :D BUZZING

I definitely recommend Driving Innovation. Kesh was my instructor, and throughout the many lessons, he was calm while i was driving which obviously helped me be a calmer driver. When we would talk about the issues that I needed to work on, he clearly had a relatively firm idea of what was going through my head, what I needed to be aware of and what was becoming a significant sticking point. It really helped me deconstruct any major issues that could potentially cause me to fail, and by the test, I was supremely comfortable behind the wheel and it was no longer stressful or tiring. The only thing I would tell people is that you need to be comfortable taking the hits. You have to accept a lot of criticism and not let it weigh you down too much. You need to be confident in your abilities while also taking in all these aspects you're doing wrong so that you can fix them. It is just the nature of the situation. But yeah, thanks Kesh, thanks Driving Innovation on getting me driving!

What a fantastic experience I had!! Booking were made with Colin, which was so easy, he answered all my questions I needed to know I felt like I made the right decision. Then my driver Instructor was Neeta who is amazing woman. If your nerves like I was I would defiantly recommend Neeta. She keeps you calm she is so lovely and sweet. She has the patience and nothing is rushed. I certainly will miss Neeta. I passed 2nd time. Don't panic on your test its just another lesson :-)

Passed first time thanks to Kesh at Driving Innovation Angela Kirk - posted from my sons Google account At the age of 57 I decided I wanted to drive, about 17 years ago I had a few lessons in a manual but didn't enjoy it, I found Driving Innovation online and was pleased to find them really helpful, it also turned out that my daughter had gone through them for her driving course. I opted for a 40 hour automatic intensive course and that is how I met my instructor Kesh Gohil. He was brilliant, friendly, easy to get on with, patient and full of advice, after two weeks of lots of driving I took my test on the 25/07/19 and passed first time. It was the best feeling and I felt so proud but I have to give a lot of credit to Kesh, I couldn't have done it without him. The open road now beckons me and I am looking forward to lots of driving visiting family and grandchildren. Anyone out there that is unsure whether to do it or not, go for it. She's fantastic, fun & really encouraging! I approached Driving Innovation for an intensive program of training to become an Approved Driving Instructor. This was based initially on search engine results, and upon emailing I was impressed by Colin's willingness to help with any queries via email. I was then given a personal recommendation to use Colin, and so my mind was set on who I must train with, despite this meaning extensive travel for training. Colin's in depth understanding of the ADI test is incredibly deep. His ability to role-play a wide range of scenarios is phenomenal. His ability to throw at you most things you are likely to see on the exam means that the exam actually felt just like more training. There was no difference in level or ‘awkwardness’ of faults between Colin’s role play and that of the examiner. I essentially spent two weeks with Colin, and left with an ADI badge. Highly recommended.

I cannot thank Neeta enough for helping me to pass my test today WOOHOOO!!! I had two months of intensive lessons in which Neeta was very dedicated and worked extremely hard to help me pass with flying colours. I was under extreme time pressure to pass my test and with Neeta’s flexible working hours I managed to pass my test in due time. She adapted her teaching style to suit the way in which I learn best, meaning each and every lesson was productive and I progressed well. There were many occasions where I thought I was driving to a good standard, however Neeta’s standards were much higher which meant I passed my test with only 2 minors! It required a lot of hard work and patience (which meant there were many tears - it was definitely not plain sailing!) however Neeta’s skill as a driving instructor made it so much easier. Neeta exposed me to many different situations and scenarios which meant she not only taught me how to pass a driving test, but also how to drive in the real world - whatever area or situation I am in! (To put me under more pressure, Neeta took me outside of Leicester which I thoroughly enjoyed and increased my confidence massively) I would highly recommend taking intensive lessons as you learn much more quickly and progressively and I would highly recommend Neeta as an instructor due to her fantastic teaching ability. I cannot thank Neeta enough and I highly recommend Driving Innovation if you want to pass your test. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am so glad that I found Driving Innovation- Colin was super quick to answer my enquiries and happy to answer all of my questions. He originally set me up with Neeta, who was brilliant with me from lesson one- patient, kind and really gave me ownership of my lessons, so that I was in control and chose how to learn and at what pace. She really developed my confidence, always in a supportive and reassuring manner (even when we both knew I was being silly!). She covered everything I needed to know and she made sure that each element was covered thoroughly. We also developed a lovely relationship, which made all of the trickier bits a great deal of fun- we were always laughing! Due to circumstances outside of both Neeta's and my control, I had to swap instructors, at which point I was introduced to Kesh, which was a brilliant experience as well- he was brilliant at completely rephrasing when I didn't understand something, even if it took two or three times, he didn't give up, and made sure I fully understood. He asked me to come to lessons with my own areas of focus, which made sure I was reflective outside of the car and thinking about what small goals I could achieve incrementally. Again, he is a lovely bloke and I enjoyed the time spent in the car with him. He seemed really pleased for me when I passed my test and I could tell that he clearly takes pride in his pupils passing. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I am so pleased that I passed first time, with only three minors. I am really glad that I had the experience of both Neeta and Kesh's training, I think I really benefited from having both of them, they were ace! Thank you all, I couldn't have done it without you! What a fantastic trainer Colin is. I don't know where to begin, I came to Colin around two weeks before my 2nd part 3 attempt after a miserable first attempt I was pretty much at the lowest point of training with pretty much zero confidence. I decided to have theee days intensive with Colin before my test. Colin's expertise and no nonsense approach to training changed my attitude and built my into an amazing instructor and consequently sent me on to pass my part 3 in wigston with a 6,5 I can not thank Colin enough for all his hard work and help in turning the part 3 test into actually quiet an easy test and being prepared for the inevitable awkward examiners and every eventuality and metaphorical punch that can be thrown at you throughout the test.
