Matt was a brilliant instructor. He is very friendly which helps makes the lessons more enjoyable and more comfortable. His techniques used during driving were great and really helped me complete the manoeuvres and deal with situations. He helps you build confidence on the road. He has a great resources on his website and what he uses during your lessons and can be used at home, which help you to practise with clear instructions. From start to finish, Matt was very supportive and kind. He made sure to reinforce the positives and give constructive feedback on my mistakes, so that I could learn from them. His patient, encouraging attitude really helped me to overcome my nerves and lack of self-belief. This kindness was also paired with professionalism. He helped me to visualise manoeuvres, roundabouts and tricky routes with visual guides, and showed me how to access the Rapide Driving School's instructional videos on YouTube. Once I started university, Matt was always very helpful in offering me flexible lesson times. He also kept me updated throughout the national and local lockdowns and ensured that care was taken to clean the car's touch points to keep him and his students safe. I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor.

Matt is a great instructor who has lots of techniques to make learning to drive less daunting. I lacked confidence to start with, but through regular lessons I was put at ease and given the confidence I needed to make positive progress. Matt always finds some positives in your driving, and gives constructive feedback to help you move forwards and get to your test in as few lessons as necessary. As a result, I was pleased to find that I passed first time, after only 25 lessons. The website is a real help in learning some of the more challenging routes, and the lessons are excellent value for money. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Rapide as the Driving School to choose.

I came across this driving school through my brother who had passed his driving test the 1st time within a few months. The instructor I had under the school is a man named Matt who is extremely experienced and has perfected his techniques to allow his students the greatest chance of success with the greatest ease. He can be very tough on a student at times and he is very particular about even the finest points but that is what makes him so good at his job. I can honestly say that were it not for him putting so much pressure on me I wouldn't have passed my driving test the first time. Definitely recommend this school if you are looking for someone to teach you in a unique way who can almost guarantee a pass every time.

Best driving instructor hands down, it was a tough year of missing lessons and getting me to drive correctly but he always pushed me to get moving forward. I'd had a few instructors before and I felt I wasn't getting what I needed from them it was just a script more than someone actually caring about you learning the corrrect ways. Matt is very organised and on the ball, the lessons are layed out in stages so as your lessons progresses so do you, he knows his stuff and everything is explained to how you learn things. I found him to be very caring and passionate not only as a driving instructor but as a person wanting to do something they enjoy so they always shines though. Highly recommended. Matts number was given to me from my partners friend who she was currently learning from. Do not regret it one bit. wanted to pass as fast as possible but Matt worked with me and helped me pass first time. Very patient and welcoming. Mat is a excellent driving instructor. I have had 3 instructors in the past and non of them taught me what I needed to pass the practical test (failed a few). Mat is an ex-BSM instructor who managed to do the impossible. With him I passed test. You cannot fault his teaching skill. He is thorough, easy to get along with and the reference points for parallel parking and bay parking is perfect for everyone. It almost guarantees perfect manoeuvres so one less thing to worry about. I highly recommend RapideDrivingSchool. It is excellent value for money, the teaching is better quality than AA & BSM in my opinion and without the hefty price tag.
