Where to start... wow!! My experience with YDA was incredible. My instructor, Ismail, was extremely helpful and considerate I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. He helped me build my confidence and progress in my driving which lead me to pass FIRST TIME with ZERO faults with only 17 lessons. I appreciate everything my instructor and YDA has done for me. My instructor, Salah, was absolutely everything you want in a teacher. In only a few lessons, he transformed me into a safe, confident driver. I passed my test the first time with only 1 minor. I started taking lessons with Salman Naseer and I knew absolutely nothing I was absolutely terrified I wouldn’t be able to drive at all with my knowledge of the road but Salman was absolutely wonderful! He is calm and very reassuring. As someone who suffers with bad anxiety, Salman always made me feel comfortable and safe every lesson I took with him. Overall great experience, would highly recommend. I passed my driving test in first go with Salah, I am so very thankful to him. Salah has been extremely patient yet persistent and professional. I had Salman naseer as an instructor and I was learning in an automatic and I was fortunate enough to pass first time with 6 minors at South Wigston. Learning to drive was a lot more comfortable and not as awkward as I expected it to be. Salman was calm and informative even if I was panicked and confused he taught me to be calm too. Their standard of teaching is way beyond. Master class instructor and most importantly he is very frankly. When you do some mistake he will give you confidence and boost you up. That is very important in learning something. If you are worried about Roundabouts dont worry Mr Rana will teach you so easy techniques.

Due to very detailed preparation and good explanations the actual test was easier that i could've imagined. A very considerate, honest, motivating and patient instructor, who uses a wide range of tools to deliver his lessons (theory and practical aspects), such as: the driving textbook, videos, phone annotations and demonstrations. At the end of each lesson the theory for the next lesson will be given, so research and understanding of the topic can be done in advance, so during the lesson no time is wasted and only practice takes place. A truly fantastic driving school! I had previously tried 2 other driving schools before finding YDA, and from the minute I met my instructor Etty, my life changed. My whole outlook on driving which was previously negative, completely changed and I felt like I could actually enjoy driving. Sajid is very competent and professional. I met him only 4 days prior to my driving test which I knew about at short notice due to current lock down. The lessons started by 1 hour of assessment followed by a teaching plan based on assessment of knowledge and skill gap to be filled in order to achieve driving tests standards. Over the course of the 4 days, he has delivered an intensive course. Sajid has clear experience of all test routs, tips and candidates' pitfalls. He combines his constructive feedback with video recording of your driving and a huge collection of pictures showing the test routs. He preserved the last hour for revision of key maneuvers and high yield facts. He had to stay in the test centre during my test due to social distancing measures. Your Driving Academy is the BEST! Just got my driving licence last month and I still can not believe it. I was a VERY nervous learner and my previous driving instructor used to make me even more anxious, then I decided to change my instructor and luckily I got in touch with YDA. I started taking driving lessons with one of the YDA's driving instructors couple of weeks ago and it didn't take long after I realised I don't really enjoy the way he teaches and how he talks. After driving lessons with him I always felt like I need to know more or I'm not kind of ready with a certain topic we were doing. Later on he had some sort of an issue, so I have used it to my advantage and called YDA to change instructor. I quickly received a message that my new instructor is going to be Moin and he literally is what I needed. He is lovely person, I really enjoy talking to him and I learned a lot of thanks to him. Today I had a driving test which I have passed second time, because the first time was a bit unfortunate, but it is really everything thanks to Moin, I'm not sure how many more hours of driving lessons I would have to go for with the other instructor, but Moin surely teaches amazingly good and I recommend this instructor to everyone as he has not having any problems with any of his learners.

You know that saying 'save the best till last'. That can be referred to my encounter with YDA. I had been apart of another driving school but it does not compare to YDA at all. Instead of shouting at me when i made mistakes. My driving instructor would joke it off, tell me that it was alright and that i should try again. Hi, My name is Naeem. I live in Leicester, I have been driving since the age of 17 and has been over 25 years. I have always been passionate about Driving throughout my life. I have worked in many driving industries as follow Chauffer, minicab, catering delivery driver, courier, minibus driver, and now I have qualified as driving instructor. Becoming a driving instructor is one of the best things I have done, as you can see all the jobs I have previously done were working for someone, or they would be a time-restricted, but the beauty about becoming a driving instructor I can choose my own hour being my own boss and work any time of the day while the other previous job I didn’t have that flexibility. YDA has a big part in me becoming a driving instructor and big thanks to Ethisham (Etty) who helped me to get through this training and helping me qualify, although my training was with a different and big brand driving school, I was left in the desert where the progress of my training was getting rust. I rang YDA and joined them on the 1st of September 2020 while I was an on a trainee licence (PDI), and since being with them, I have been developing in my teaching skills and getting an expert advise from the team. I Qualified on the 12th of October as an ADI and now will continue with YDA.

I have been driving abroad before but it is harder than I anticipated passing the practical driving test in Leicester. My instructor cares about his work; I think this makes the difference in my driving lessons. He identified my main issues fairly quick and concentrated to deal with my needs in driving rather than gave me standard lessons. I passed my test with only a few hours driving lessons this time. I was very very nervous about driving and had a lot of anxiety about it and lacked confidence, but Bilal recognised what I needed as a student and helped me achieve my goal through his patience and advice. Anyone can teach you the mechanics of driving, but a good instructor has to be somewhat of a psychologist as well and personalise the lessons, and Bilal has helped me believe in myself and gave me confidence, and that was his greatest challenge as my instructor. Passed first time with three minors!! Thank you!! I first came across YDA online and was pleasantly surprised to find the team both professional and polite. Good value for money with a multi booking on the lessons and being a grauate student, this was much appreciated. My instructor Hassan has always been patient, encouraging and accomodating which hasnt been easy wth me at the best of times. I was a very anxious and unconfident driver and repetition with the test routes and manoeuvres really helped me feel like a safe driver. I even started to enjoy roundabouts which was an awful experience for me to begin with. After almost 3 years of on/off lessons and a theory test with an expiry date of 3 days after my practical test, it was a bit of a tall order. Hassan really did his best to accomodate me and even offered to help me on the day of my test with extra practice. I was always at ease during my lessons. After beginning to learn with two previous driving schools I decided to move and try YDA even though my test was already booked. My instructor Etty adapted lessons so that we were covering things specifically tailored to the stage I was at. Etty pushes you to try things out for yourself when driving rather than spending lesson time talking about new concepts, instead unlike many instructors he has confidence in you to do things yourself and simply guides you when necessary which helps you to progress quickly. He pushes you and ensures you're always driving rather than him sitting there trying to explain things verbally for too long. In comparison to how I'd previously been learning Etty ensures you are always driving on the test route areas rather than places which are drastically quiet and fairly easy to drive in. Despite my busy college schedule during the week Etty made time for me to have lessons at a time which suited me best. Etty helped me to me to work towards my practical test rather than having hours and hours of lessons, - instead we were actually working towards something! Etty takes the time to get to know you and how you learn best, a genuine instructor who wants the best for his learner drivers, and has a very positive and calm approach to all things!! After reflecting on the different teaching styles I had before I couldn't be more glad that I moved. Etty will make sure that not only are you a safe driver but also that you're equipped for anything an examiner can ask from you! A lot of practice was completed within that one hour-plenty of maneuvers and roundabouts and no time was wasted on unimportant aspects etc. Spent all my time driving on possible test routes to ensure I was familiar with the area. But Muj helped me through it and he helped me with several different tactics and it all worked out! I have been working with YDA for 7 years. My experience with YDA is remarkable. The narrative of full experience and feelings are beyond the ambit of this short review and comments. But I will try to depict some points based on the conduct and protocols of the driving industry and otherwise too. Before I joined YDA, I had worked with other company (won’t mention the name). The Work was really slow there, at one point, it became harder to pay the Franchise even. I acquainted Etty(the director of YDA) in the same year. Etty assured me that he would provide me plenty of work (supply of Pupils) and help me to improve my teaching skills too. After contemplating for a while, I finally joined YDA in 2012. I am pleased to say that he kept his words and I have always been provided with the amount of work until today. I never had any issues and concerns about the quantity of pupils and the quality of work as well. Etty always asks me if I need more students. He always fills my diary according to my working hours and the area I cover. I have never had to call for work, as there is always plenty of work. Instead, I have rejected for taking new students on several occasions because either I am fully booked or due to some other commitments. The company has got very good reputation. The credit goes to Etty and his trustworthy instructors. The instructors are from different backgrounds and there is no discrimination among them in any regard. Due to the diversity of instructors, the company represents the true diversity of Leicester as well. Etty, himself is an excellent instructor. The management is always available for instructors and prompt to deliver the services to instructors and students. In running day to day tasks and affairs of the business, his managerial skills and ideas are not hidden too. He always handles the issues and matters of the instructors meticulously. He is very patient, tolerant, resilient, cooperative, and down to earth. He is the person with etiquettes and decorum. I always find him trustworthy, compassionate and benevolent. Due to these qualities of him, I have never faced any condemnatory situation in dealing with Etty(YDA). I simply say that I am delighted to be the part of YDA. I will end these comments by saying that, it is not only the great place to learn with quality and well-mannered instructors, but also best choice for instructors to be the part of YDA. Hello there, I would like to take a minute (or two!) to share with you my experience with YDA Driving School… Following a rather tedious period of time wherein I had taken lessons from several different driving instructors from different driving schools, I began to feel disappointed and frustrated by the inflexible, unnecessary and sometimes uncooperative attitudes and teaching styles I was coming across in some of these instructors. This left me feeling rather disheartened and made ‘driving’ itself feel more and more like a dreary and dismal task! Consequently, I abandoned driving for a while… However, as my driving test date was fast approaching, I needed to find a reliable, supportive and understanding instructor to help me to pass my test. Thus, I plucked up the courage and decided to contact YDA and was greeted with a very welcoming, professional and courteous manner. From this initial telephone conversation I already began to feel hopeful! And being informed that my instructor would be Etty, the gentleman whom I initially spoke with, made it sound even more promising… The few lessons I had with my YDA driving instructor Etty, to brush up my skills in preparation for my test were, I would have to say probably the best, most enjoyable lessons I ever had! As I was joining YDA with previous driving experience, Etty fully understood and tailored each lesson accordingly to suit my level of driving. Ive been a student in leicester for about two years now, it was really hard to find a good driving school for cheap prices. I went to one called drive dynamics awful customer service the instructer was okay but at that time I didn't really know much about driving. Well long story short paid over 400 for lessons with an unqualified instructor. When I switched to YDA I felt an immediate change in my driving, my driving intelligence and skill. Etty is a very honest patient and great instructer I passed my test on the 31st of Jan, with only 6 hrs of learning the new test manoeuvres and sat nav (all together I had 26 hrs over the span of 6 months because I went back to london for the summer, and part of the winter) this just shows how effective Etty’s teaching was and how honest he was with me about my driving, YDA is not here to waste your time and money but to get you your licence that you deserve, thank you Etty for everything, I really appreciate it and you wont be forgotten, God bless you. I decided to give driving another shot with YDA and it was the best choice I ever made. First off I received a polite call and texts from Etty discussing my nerves/anxiety and previous tests. Etty was a great confidence boost and very informative. From then on I was allocated with my driving instructuor Hassan who is amazing. Hassan understood my lack of confidence with driving and continued to boost it right until the test date. Hassan always showed up early to the lessons and apologised for being late even when he was actually on time! Through my experience of many driving instructors.. I feel that alot of the time personal life is discussed throughout the lessons. Looking back, it never really botherd me until having a lesson with Hassan. Hassan devoted this whole lesson to me and the road. I feel this style of learning was one of the biggest contributing factors towards me passing. Continuing on from this it also resulted in great feedback from Hassan at the end of each lesson. Hassan revisited every point of the lesson where I made a mistake or expressed panic/confusion. Hassan has taught me to be a safe driver and not just pass my test. If you get Hassan, you wont need luck!

MR EHTISHAM was my instructor. What a amazing job he did with me. I am 42 years old and suffer very badly with nerves. I had previously failed my driving test I was so bad in my test that my examiner stoped my test after just 20 min because he felt it was not safe for me to continue. That experience alone left me devastated. After about six months I decided to try again and went with another driving school they suggested that I would need about another 30 lessons before I would be ready for my test. They even suggested that I should go to my GP and get something for my nerves. I decided to leave them after 3 lessons because they made me feel more like a patient then a learner driver. Enter Mr EHTISHAM he was amazing I can honestly say he made me so relaxed and treated me like a normal adult and not a patient. It's not so much what he tells you but it's he how he tells you that makes the information stick in your head. The amazing thing is that I only had 4 lessons with him and I passed my test with only 1 minor fault. I was much more relaxed on my test and much more positive before my test. YDA driving instructors are great especially my instructor etty who gave me great confidence and believed in me. Etty is a great person to talk to and get along with and I would recommend YDA and etty to anyone in a heart beat. I am going to miss our conversation and lesson, thanks for the great experience YDA and etty.

Ehtesham patel is the best instructor who helps learners in a meaningful way and also explain briefly everything. Although I had problem with language but he made it easy for me. After my hard work he is the 2nd reason of passing my test. I recommend learners to have leasons with YDA(Ehtesham).

Had sajid as my instructor and after just 16 lessons I managed to pass today:) I didnt really want to drive so i kept avoiding it. I'm glad I managed to overcome my fear of driving. Sajid got to point whenever I made mistakes or did well...that's the way I like to be taught.
