A massive thanks to Matt for helping me pass my test with just 3 minors. For anyone reading this, you get exactly what the name suggests, a very professional service from Matt who is also kind, patient, and caring. Matt offered me lessons even when he was tightly scheduled and was always very constructive with his feedback. He offers quality service and holds himself and his pupil to high standards on the road. He is always on time and made sure that safety is the first priority. I've had a brilliant experience being his pupil, and I would definitely suggest him to anyone looking for an experienced driving instructor in liverpool. I cannot recommend Matt enough! He is patient and supportive whilst also pushing you to feel confident driving. I passed my driving test first time with 3 faults. Since passing last week I have driven on motorways, duel carriageways and busy junctions alone without any hesitation - something I never thought I would be able to do. If you need to wait on matts waiting list, do it! It will be worth it.

Matt is simply an excellent driving instructor. I passed my test first time, with three minors, after having lessons with him in summer 2020. I contacted Matt after having a few weeks with another instructor that had left my knowledge and confidence a bit shattered - Matt completely reversed that from the outset of the first lesson. Matt's lessons were very well structured and always had a clear plan to them. He was always calm, patient, informative and detailed in every explanation for anything we ever covered, and his experience shone through on every lesson. He is a very genuine and amiable guy, whose teaching goes above and beyond what is needed for the test; he ensures you have the skills and knowledge to not only be test ready, but the confidence to face the wider world of driving including motorways, city centres, multi-storey car parks and beyond. I felt that we built a good rapport and I genuinely looked forward to, and enjoyed, every lesson, every week. I cannot recommend him enough.

Matt is a fantastic driving instructor! After having to change instructors after only a few lessons, I was slightly nervous about getting back in the driver's seat, but Matt put me at ease straight away. He is calm, patient and easy going, and knows the area very well. Matt was a great instructor! I started learning in February having never been in the driver's seat of a car. I was very anxious to begin with but Matt's professional and friendly attitude made it easy to get used to driving and improve quickly. He knows Liverpool and the nearby test routes very well which was great for practice in preparation for my test, and while he is a very patient instructor he will push you when you need it - this really helped with my driving confidence. I originally started my driving lessons with the company called pass faster, I had around 3 lessons with a guy who had no patience, wasted my time and ruined confidence which made me hate every second of the lessons I had with him. I cancelled the rest of my driving lessons in order to find a better teacher. I had very little faith from that point and I worried about starting off with a new instructor, until I contacted Matt. The following week I had my first lesson, Matt gave me confidence and helped me get back on track with my driving skills. It was clear that Matt had a lot of knowledge within his 18 years of teaching pupils. Matts calm and friendly personality helped me stay calm in the most stressful situations. Matts teaching gave me gain a variety of skill to pass my driving test and helped me in the real world of being a novice driver. We even went over motorways and national speed limit A roads, which most driving instructors don’t seem to do until the pass plus scheme. The following week after passing my test I bought my first car, I have been driving for 6 months now and felt that with matts teaching I was prepared for the real world. Matt is friendly but does give you a push when you need it which was good for me. He is very efficient and flexible with classes. He will try to help and get the most out of you so you will find driving easy and safe. He knows the test routes very well and will put in practice with you every task you will be needed to achieve your driving pass certificate.

I passed my first and ONLY driving test today (a month after the theory test). I just moved to Liverpool from Malaysia, my hometown where I started driving. Having experience for me had its disadvantages. I was prone to errors or bad habits; e.g. not keeping up to the speed limit. Matt helped me to improve these mistakes. He is gifted with a relaxed character, he is strict and importantly alert to highlight major errors. I needed the driving lessons urgently and he always managed to try and fit in a lesson within his tight schedule. If you are living in the southern part of Liverpool, I would highly recommend Matt.
