R.Tony is an brilliant, patient and attentive driving instructor with years of experience and it shows when you are on the road. Every lesson is well planned out with Tony and he always takes his time to answer any questions, worries or concerns one may have, as some who is sometimes anxious learning how to drive really built up my confidence and allowed me to take control of my driving, not once have I found Tony rude or condescending. From learning how to park, drive on dual carriageways, tackle hills and roundabouts, I have never felt unsafe in the drivers seat with Tony beside me. I felt my progress in driving improve each lesson, I could see the changes and that was satisfying.
I passed my driving test with flying colours, having a great driving experience is honestly the best feeling and with Tony I've achieved that! Thanks Tony!
I highly recommend Tony Silk as an instructor if you are a new driver or someone looking for refresher lessons from a driver instructor with a great personality that actually teaches you well, explains clearly (with examples) and provides great feedback at the end of each lesson.

K. W.Had refresher lessons with Tony, after not driving for 11 years. Booked five 2 hour lessons and really helped get my confidence back. Tony was incredibly friendly and supportive through out, taking my own circumstances into consideration in order to tailor the lessons for what I needed: driving around London, going on motorways and parking. Could not recommended enough, as a driving instructor, for either refresher or beginner lessons.
N. R.I recently passed my driving test having learnt with Tony over the last year after learning with a series of terrible and rude instructors. Aside from him being an all round excellent instructor, Tony is really easy to get on with, which allowed me to feel relaxed and confident behind the wheel. He was always patient and explained things really clearly and non-judgementally or patronisingly, and was always encouraging. If I needed to change lessons without much notice, he was always accommodating. His pricing is very fair, and definitely worth his instruction. I highly recommend driving lessons with him! He’s by far the best instructor I’ve had, and certainly helped me to finally pass my full test!
