F.Would highly recommend Anam as an instructor driver, because I’ve passed my test from first attempt after 2 months of lessons during the weekend (I don’t have previous experience of driving at all). Even the examiner was surprised with my level of driving at a quite short period of time. And here is why:
1. Anam has a proper structure of teaching, so you just don’t randomly driving circles across the area with low efficacy and time/money spent
2. You feel yourself comfortable and relaxed from your first day and this positively impacts your learning
3. He is responsible and committed to make everything for you to pass
4. And, the last, but not the least, he has a nice big car with all the features installed to make your experience better

I took my lessons with Anam. What can I say – passed first time! The result speaks for itself. I am so happy Anam was my instructor, he helped me a lot with my driving. He is so patient even if you do mistakes he will just explain what was wrong and how to do better next time. And he explains everything really really well, finally I got the roundabouts (and not only!) sorted :) And he was so supportive all this time; he will always find right words to explain things or calm you down if you are anxious. And I was SO anxious during my exam :) I can barely remember the route we took :)
Anam has never ever been late for our lesson! Always super professional and polite. No not only he helped me to get ready for my exam but to be a safer driver too.
Good luck to all you guys who are yet to pass your exam! It might be stressful but you will get through it. Just practice, drive safe and confidently!

I have passed first time in my manual practical test because of her!
She was the perfect balance between kind, patient, friendly vs critical, real and honest. She was real with me if I made a mistake, ensuring I understood exactly what I did wrong and enabling me practice it till I got it right. Made me feel comfortable during the lessons so I did not get nervous or scared during the time I drove. I appreciated the consistent feedback, of both the good and the what I can do better. It was always detailed and I would always know what to focus on for my next lesson. Absolutely incredible!

M. M.I have been through a lot of lessons with many different driving instructors/ companies and Rosey has been by far the most calm, clear and incredibly technical. I needed a few refresher lessons and she immediately made me feel at ease whilst driving through central London at rush hour; she pointed out when I would do something wrong, explained what the issue was and informed me on how I could improve. Rosey also built up my confidence in preparation for my upcoming test and went through multiple ways of fixing issues should they arise on the day of the test, rather than me panic and not know how to resolve them- making me feel collected and ready for anything. My instructor was Omar (auto), who was practically helpful, giving tips on the test as well as driving in general and instilling good habits for once I passed my test. He was friendly, but also came down hard on me when I needed it or wasn't focused.

S.I can honestly say Omar is an absolute top quality instructor, the best in my opinion! I passed first time today and it was completely down to his brilliant teaching methods. I had a previous instructor before him who I felt wasn’t pushing me enough, so I made the decision to switch to Omar - best decision ever! He previously taught my brother who also passed first time, so I knew he was a great teacher. Omar is able to effectively make you understand how to drive safely on the roads by being firm yet patient. A lot of instructors don’t have this balance, but Omar has mastered it with his fair teaching style. He never let me get away with making a mistake or forgetting an observation, which I think was key to me passing as I remembered every time I had done something wrong before. He also takes the time to explain why we have to do certain things, which is really important when you need to make decisions on the road independently. s. u.Honestly one of the Best driving schools with top quality instructors. I had the privellege of being one of Omar's students. I have had previous instructors before him and no one can compare. I told him on our first lesson that I had an ambitious goal and wanted to pass my test first time, in a tight time frame. Very patient and insightful teacher, really helped make me aware of some deeply rooted bad driving behaviours that were ingrained from learning how to drive in China, as well as on the other side. Very efficient and easy to schedule lessons with him and he was always more than punctual, arriving a couple minutes before the scheduled time! And cherry on top - he teaches in a super nice new Landrover Discovery, a car that is so enjoyable to drive and learn in!

Cannot describe the feeling of passing in the first attempt - all i can say is, it's pure joy!! Completed my driving lessons with Albert. He was WONDERFUL! Very patient and very thorough! He is very hard to please, but i now completely understand why - the test felt like a piece of cake after completing the lessons with him. He briefed me about what to expect on the day and very quickly identified areas i was good at and those that needed more practice. By the end of 10 lessons, i felt more confident on the road and was aware about things i was doing wrong and needed to be careful about. Such a brilliant and funny guy that listens and analyses what you need to work on, after failing my first attempt Omar has been extremely patient and his lessons are very enjoyable yet informative. He has observed me and highlighted my weaknesses and made me work on them. He has extremely high expectations which sets you up for the driving test which was actually better than expected. He literally doesn’t let you get away with anything which sets you up for the real test. He has made me anticipate and be aware of the road whilst being a safe driver. His tips and lessons prepared me for for passing my test. Every lesson he has an objective to work on, he is very punctual and organised whilst having excellent communication and understanding of my problems with driving and how to work on them. V. D.My instructor was Omar Ahmed and with his help and instruction I was able to pass my test the first time. I already have an American license but can only drive an automatic transmission; I needed to learn the techniques and processes in driving a manual. There is surprisingly a lot to learn and I had picked up many bad habits from driving stateside. Omar was able to methodically break down certain aspects of my driving whilst I became more comfortable with the manual operation. I can honestly say the techniques and driving style taught to me by Omar makes perfect sense and I will be driving this way from now on even when back in the states.
Omar is friendly with a good sense of humor and along with his clear and precise instructions made for a pleasant experience.

P.I am glad that I chose this school and instructor Anam. I started quite late in life and at 40 I never drove a car before. It has been one of my biggest fears, but Anam bought me to a very high standard. I passed my test the first time. Overall it has been a pleasant experience, I have enjoyed Anam's teaching and his approach. He was able to handle a woman in tears, but also pushed me forward at each lesson. Always honest with payments and recording lesson hours.

C. M. G. D. A.I did my practical driving test preparation with Docklands Driving School. My instructor's name was Golam Moula. During the many hours of driving that we did Golam was always very patient and kind. He was always quick to identify my weaknesses and made sure I understood where I could improve. I am a 40 year old man originally born and raised in another country, and I have been driving for many years, but in order to obtain a UK driving license you need to be very precise in following the road rules and regulations (which is fair enough). So, in order to prepare correctly, you need an instructor who is as rigorous as the test itself and who is always paying attention to the little details that one can easily miss. This is why I highly recommend Golam. He will make you a better driver regardless of your skill level and will give you the advice and tips necessary to pass the driving test. Last but not least, his car is very easy and pleasant to drive. Thanks Golam!!
I. B.I did my lessons with Jay and I highly recommend him. I found his lessons to be very methodical and well-paced so that I could get the right skills and progress with every lesson. He was always organised and punctual, which is much appreciated when you have a busy work schedule and your weekends are precious! He teaches in a way which makes you feel at ease and feel confident while driving, which is important to calm those jitters before the test! He knows when and how to correct you in a constructive way, so that you don’t repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

I had taken many lessons before with another instuctor but was not able to pass first time. After a long break I decided to pick up driving again - in just 15 lessons with Shamim I passed. I had a goal in mind and he helped me to achieve this in such a short timeframe.
My brother and sister both passed first time with this driving school as well - my only regret is that I didn't begin my driving venture with this school myself! In my opinion, they are the best out there. I'm sad that these lessons with Shamim are now over as I've really enjoyed my time with him - I know he will go on to help many other new drivers to pass first time. C. V.I took Driving Lessons with Omar in order to pass my UK Driving Test. I have been licensed in South Africa and the United States, but needed to understand London driving road rules, driving in busy city streets, driving through a Roundabout and also driving a Manual car in a city environment.
I learned all this and now I am a better, safer more confident driver and know how to make difficult manuevers in tight spaces.

A. H.I can not recommend this place enough! I came here after doing an intensive course with another school, and with them I had been super nervous and done a lot of errors. After one hour with Ali I felt more calm and secure in my driving, and I didn’t do as many faults as before. I felt more relaxed and if I made a mistake it wasn’t the end of the world, we fixed it and moved on. He was a great instructor and thanks to him I now have my license.

He has a very relaxed attitude, and is calm and ensures that you are able to drive confidently. He is very approachable, and has a very friendly nature that allows you learn at your own pace. I highly recommend Shamin if given a choice of instructors, as I personally have had a positive experience!

Route - Longbridge road , roundabouts (A406, Shell petrol station), Dual carriage way to Barking, manoeuvre ( pull up on the right - reverse 2 car lengths, 2 stops on the left)
Show me / tell me - rear fog light and rear windscreen wash
Result - Pass with 2minor (late stop at a traffic signal after the roundabout and following distance when changing lane in dual carriage way)
Albert is sensible and very calculative guy. He gives you the baby steps during the initial class and let you drive. He then corrects wherever you make mistakes. My driving was horrendous although I had enough driving experience, he was patient and fixed the mistakes at the correct time.
I would highly recommend Albert for the first timers.

N.I never write long reviews but in this case I will because this driving instructor deserves it.I been reading some bad reviews about Dockland Driving school and i feel sorry for those who had that bad luck with their experiences but in my case I was super lucky and I am giving a huge thank you to this driving school and I did the best choice i could do, in particular in times where it is so hard to find a decent instructor.Before this school I already did 30 lessons with other driving school with a highly skilled instructor, but not really understanding my needs as I am a difficult dyslectic person with stubborn learning and I end up after 30 hours of lessons not really being able to drive in busier east London roads( i never drove faster than 35 mph and dind'n know how to use 4th gear) My previous instructor unintentionally due to not understanding my needs left me with damaged confidence, made me super stressed behind the wheel and I lost any driving pleasure,literally I had to start from begging.I was sure that another 40 lesson want be enough to pass. I contacted Dockland Driving school and explained the situation and I received the best Instructor ever(Ali-black Ford focus) Ali is super calm, never made feel bad when something went wrong ,always patient even when same mistakes happened constantly,I felt super relaxed(and this is most important thing when learning to drive) and first time I was always looking forward for the next driving lessons, I stopped feeling that I am constantly doing all wrong and withing every lessons my boyfriend has seen big improvements in my driving.Ali is tailoring his teaching method and approach independently to every person which also does the teaching atmosphere informal .Also communication with Ali was superb and he never cancelled any lesson . If an instructor can fix so much damage and stubborn brain within 25 hours its mean something. I passed first time on the 13th of August, with six minors !!! I've also read a review to avoid 9.07 am driving test , again all depends on luck this is when I passed my one which in my opinion was the best time to choose.Ali once again Superb thank you!!!! T.
