What can I say about the amazing Rob and Jen ? One has the patience of a Saint (well they both do) and the other is knowledgeable beyond words !. Would highly recommend anyone and everyone to robs riders as you will pass and not only that you will have a great time with a no nonsense approach. 10/10

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Jenny for booking my mod1 & mod 2 so quickly. Lovely services and very friendly, easy to get along with. Also a big thank you to Rob for showing me everything that I needed to know before taking my tests. I passed them both first time and Rob was a great support, easy to get along with and didn't miss anything out, professional service and kept me at relaxed rather than nervous with some of his funny stories he told me. I would highly recommend Robs riders for anyone doing there tests or thinking of doing them.

I completed my CBT yesterday with Rob. He made it good fun with his relaxed and friendly style. He has a wealth of experience which he gets across well. I came away feeling a safe and confident rider. Thank you Rob.

I passed my Cbt, a2 and then full license with Rob, cant say enough good things about the guy. He made the whole experience enjoyable and thoroughly prepared me for the tests.
Also a fair bit cheaper than the prices quoted by other local driving schools.
5 stars 👌🏾

I'm a bit late to this but there you go.
I started with Rob doing my CBT back in June 2020. He's a nice and easy going chap with a nice and relaxed approach to training. I passed first time and then got going with my Mod 2. Due to coronavirus grinding everything to a halt both Rob and Jen worked really hard to keep us all informed the best that they could and where there were cancellations, we were squeezed in. Again, the Mod 2 training was really good. What Rob doesn't tell you, you don't really need to know. There was a load of prep on the day itself and it all helped me to get through first time again in December 2020.
All in all, a really good experienced approach to getting your full bike licence. Jen (who does the admin) worked like a Trojan to get everything sorted out and deserved a medal for dealing with all the cancellation headaches and keeping us up to speed with everything that was going on.
Well recommended!!

Rob is a fantastic instructor with a great sense of humour. I did my CBT with him and he explained things in a calm manner. I am now going to learn how to ride a gear bike through him which I never had any intention to. Thanks Rob and Jen.

Rob is a really nice genuine guy who is a good laugh and puts you at ease. Just done my 4 day course and passed. 🥳 couldn’t be happier and it’s all down to your teaching methods ! If your looking to do anything from a cbt to a full test don’t look any further than booking with ROBS RIDERS thank you rob and thank you to the boss Jen 😁

I had a great time doing my CBT with Rob yesterday. He's a really nice guy and clearly has tons of experience. He'll guide you through things at your own pace, while maintaining a super calm demeanour. I'm really glad I was lucky enough to book a training slot with Rob and would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks Rob (and Jen)!

Wonderful experience, Rob is a great instructor, I would recommend it for anyone, whether you are novice or experienced rider this is the best instructor. During the training he took me to the routes which were very similar to the ones I had on my MOD2 exam, he has been doing this for more than 20 years and it is tangible. Rob gave me very useful tips what to do during the exam to pass it as well as how to handle a bike and stay safe on the road. Always helpful, always positive, passionate, dedicated. He even bought a new helmet just for me :), not to mention a little gift I received when I passed my exam. Do not go to any other instructors, believe me they are terrible I know this from my personal experience. With hand on my heart I can truly recommend this instructor, because without him I wouldn't be able to get my Category A licence.

Considering i had ZERO experience on a two-wheeled machine, i managed to gain my full A licence with Rob in just under a month! He was very approachable and professional. Jen was great whilst organising my test dates and lessons. I'd highly recommend Robs Riders to anyone with an interest in learning to ride!

Rob is a great instructor with knowledge on CBT and full license riding, along with his wife who handles all the booking business. She will make sure you get a test with Rob. Overall an enjoyable experience on the path to your motorcycle license.

I was recommended Robs Riders by a friend who passed his CBT with Rob, I have ridden 125s on and off for about 10 years and had not ridden for about a year before taking the Direct Access course with Rob.
I really enjoyed my training day I will put this down to Robs relaxed gentle demeanour and my MOD1 went really well too. but I got over stressed and got no sleep the night before my MOD2 and just couldn't focus when it mattered so I failed with 2 majors.
So I got a 125 and practised the things rob had taught me over winter I called up Jen to book a last minute MOD2 as I realised I had only 3 weeks left to take it again before my theory expired and I was super lucky there was a space available! I got some great advice on how to calm my nerves from Jen, the night before my test I got a decent nights sleep and did a perfect run on test with the examiner with no faults at all. I am very grateful for kind instructors like Rob as I have done several CBT courses over the years and some instructors can be very shouty or kind of rude which is not good for nervous/anxious people.
Thank you very much for training me to pass the Direct Access.
as a side note Rob keeps a variety of bikes and I was on a different bike each time as I made the decision to try a different bike as I am kinda tall at 6'3" and around 120kg so I was a bit uncomfortable with the first (green XJ600S) and second bike (black SV650S) because the forward lean angle was a bit too much for me and I wasn't so good with the clutch on them but the third bike was a (yellow XJ6-N) which was much more upright and it had so much more power and torque but silky smooth from really low in the rev range that I could pull away very smoothly with just the clutch and no throttle the only downside is that it is significantly heavier than the other 2 so quite a bit tougher to manoeuvre when you first start but I am a heavier person so a lighter person may find the other bikes have enough grunt to move them along just as smoothly.

If you want to do anything from cbt to full a licence this is the place to give a ring. Called robs riders and spoke on the phone with Jen, very helpfull with bookings and giving you all the info you need from loaction to price and hours. Once I arrived I met Rob and he gave me all the in and outs to passing the tests. Very helpfull if you are an experienced rider or just begining he knows all the approaches each student needs. I came to Robs Riders with a cbt and after a few days left with an A2 licence. Best instructor I have been to.

I was directed to Rob by a couple of friends and they gave me many stories & much encouragement to show that he was the guy to learn from. I am often skeptical re other's opinions, but in this case they were right...I was wrong.
I was a novice when I started with Rob...having been on a 125 for a few hours, doing a CBT. Jen and Rob know exactly what to do when it comes to setting new riders up for success. A course tailored to your experience [or lack thereof, in my case]. They are also superb at fitting in training around peoples work/home-life.
Rob is approachable, friendly, funny patient & knowlegeable and spending time with him was great, I feel like I have made a new friend, alongisde learning new skills.
Rob's patience and attention to detail are impressive, going through everything that you will need to know for all stages of the learning process. I have heard stories of other people turning up to tests not knowing the standards or requirements, with Rob, nothing is a surprise! And it @Josh Ghatan had taken the time to actually have some lessons with Rob, he would have seen all he needed of the credentials he had been asking for! Then he might have been able to leave some useful feedback for others, rather than a 'keyboard-commando-style' winge-fest!
I would be remiss, if I didnt also mention Jen. She toils behind the scenes [the unsung hero] booking [an re-booking, in my case] lessons & tests [and more tests]. She takes all the hassle out of the arrangements! With the combination of Rob and Jen, your only responsibility, as a learner, is to turn up, listen, put the teaching into practice and success will follow!
Thanks again to both...I'm in your debt!

Rob is absolutely spot on with his training, very easy going and offcourse his dry humour always helps to keep your relaxed in the test centre!!!!
As long as you listen to him and take his advise on board you will NO doubt pass first time!!!!
100% recommend his training school...!!!!!!
Thanks Rob & Jen (P.A./wife But very friendly, organised and punctual with booking tests Etc etc)

After speaking with several places about my direct access I was left feeling confused as to what it would actually entail and concerned that it would end up costing me an absolute fortune. Then I spoke to Jen who made it simple - in short, you don't need to sell your soul to pay for it and they'll make sure you get everything done as and when it needs to so the only thing you have to worry about is turning up and riding - Perfect! Absolutely convinced that Rob taught me to ride better than actually required to pass the tests which is how it should be! Heck, at the start I thought we were just having a ride around for me to familiarise myself with the bike and by lunchtime I'd passed my cbt without even knowing I was being assessed by him! Genuinely good and honest people and I really would give more than 5 stars if I could - I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone I speak with that's considering learning to ride ... just got to convince my other half that she needs a bike now and that'll be another student on their way to passing with Rob too!

After being recommended by a lot of friends, I decided to my CBT with rob riders. Spoke to a lady called Jen who sorted everything out, explained everything in detail and even helped when I got lost! Did my CBT with Rob, lovely guy. Eased my worries straight away, has a laugh with you to help you feel comfortable but is always looking out for saftey. Hoping to book my mod 1 and 2 for him. Defo would recommend him from CBT all the way up to DAS learners.

Shame you didn't go with Rob, Josh. He was my instructor 17 years ago and I thought he was brilliant. I am a teacher and feel able to judge. If you don't find anybody else, try him again.
