I passed my part 3 test with a 5-5 on my 1st attempt and there's no way I would have achieved that without the high quality training i received from Russell. The training i received made me become a better instructor than I expected to become and has made me a more reflective and conscientious person. I will always look back at my training as one of the happiest experiences of my life and for that I will always be grateful for the way my training was conducted. Russell was also very generous with his time and expertise when I needed his help in passing the standards check. If you are thinking of becoming a driving instructor, I recommend Russell and Wimbledon Driving School wholeheartedly.

Passed all parts of qualifying exam parts 1, 2 and 3 with Wimbledon Driving School and their Grade 6 ORDIT instructor Russ. A few months after qualification I took my first Standards Check and got the top A grade. I know of many instructors from other schools who had lots of classroom training and two to one and failed because they did not get enough practical experience with what is after all said and done a practical assessment. I also know of many instructors who have been in the job years and have never had the top grade. For all these things and the fact it is a great school to work with I would like to thank Wimbledon Driving School and Russ.

Very happy with the grade 6 instructor and ORDIT trainer from Wimbledon Driving School. I passed my Standards Check with an A grade. The help Russ provided gave me a good idea of what to expect and moreover what was expected from me! I feel in light of recent changes to instructor training that Russ is fully aware of all the latest methods and moreover is able to effectively impart how these methods might be used to develop pupils to their maximum potential.

I was a taxi driver and wanted a change. Many taxi drivers are driving instructors. I had heard from many of my colleagues nightmare stories about schools they had trained with where they were not provided adequate training and went out teaching without being really ready to deliver a good service. Hi, I passed My ADI part 2 today in first attempt and want to say thank you to Mr Russell And Wimbeldon Driving School. I found Mr Russell is a very keen, polite, calm and he’s the best Instructor. I passed first time with him because he always drives to the test Centre to start his lesson which is far away from his home. I've been working with Russ Plattel at WDS for the last few months whilst he's been working with me on my Part 3 training. During this time the training has been thorough and informative and he has developed me at my pace rather than by a set timescale which some trainers insist on. I went for my ADI training at this school; they have a well structured program to assist you in becoming an approved driving instructor. I was opprtuned to be taught by Russ who is very patient, yet focussed on lesson plans and a highly motivating tutor.
