Reviews of Wood Green Driving Test Centre
A. 1.
I had a very positive experience at Wood Green Driving Test Centre. The process was efficient, no wasted time waiting etc., and all Covid measures are in place. My examiner was Yuri who was very professional, calm and made me feel at ease during the test.

It is actually a decent roads. NOTE i said roads. The other road users are A***oles. BMW almost had a head on collision with me as he was speeding out of a small road. I had priority and he did not look before driving out. Thankfully my examiner was aware that it was no fault of my own and i reacted well. I failed due to another speeding driver. I could have gotten away with a minor if the other driver was following speed limit and slowed gradually as my examiner explained. with only 5 mins left on my exam and 2 minors I sadly failed.
In summary avoid rush hour times as other road users seem to drive recklessly in this area.

Had my test this morning. The test centre is quite small, has toilets but no waiting area. The biggest down side is the parking space which is very tight so be aware that depending on your skills, you can find yourself struggling to park. In my case, the examiner was not influenced in any way by me having to make extra manoeuvres in order to park.
The test itself is not easy, do yourself a favour and learn the area well, especially the Great Cambridge Road roundabout and surroundings. The max speed during the test will be 50mph as there are no national speed limit areas.
The examiner I had was very professional.
My test started with the independent driving using satnav, followed by instructions from the examiner. I did about 5 or 6 parking manoeuvres next to the curb on both sides of the road. All in all, with morning traffic it took about 50 min. I give the centre 4 stars due to the tight parking area.

The hardest test centre in the whole of the world. If you pass from here you should get a special driving license which gives you a reduced insurance or a certificate. Had two examiners and both were fine, passed in the end, but it's no easy feat to pass there!
