I was petrified for my driving test today but my examiner Roger calmed me down and was very understanding. He explained to me clearly what I needed to do and was extremely reassuring. I expected the examiner to be quite scary but this was not at all the case. I’m very grateful that my examiner was kind and friendly and I think this in part helped me to succeed. I would recommend taking a test here at Cheetam Hill Centre and I would like to thank Roger from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work!

Passed first time. Martin who was my examiner was super friendly and was clear with instructions. Went to all possible locations in my lessons which made it easy too and honestly thought 35-45 minutes would be long but if you focus and listen well, time will fly and you'll pass your driving test

I passed my test with a Great Humble personality and Very friendly person called Mr Sir Roger. I swear to God i was very nervous during test but the way how he treated me and made me feel easy was really remarkable .Although All the staff is really Professional and organised but Sir Roger is on the top of list. Love u Mr Roger and your personality. Last but not least he marked my mistakes where i was wrong but still huge respect for his way of welcoming and calming me.❤️ And i would definitely recommend this test centre to let your driving dream come true.

My examiner was very professional and very coordinated. She passed the instructions clearly and was very understanding. Most importantly, my instructor, Misbah! He was so thorough that it made the test look easy ( the test isn't easy, I guarantee 😂)

Great test centre, great car park for driving test candidates with wide Isle space in between Bays. 20 Bays for forward and reverse parking into Bay exercise. But driving instructors are not permitted to use car park for manoeuvre practice unless they have driving Test land they are here for the test.. They test centre has decent waiting room to go with Men/ Female WC.

Passed my test yesterday the 5th august , it was great experience my examiner was a lovely man Named Mike , he made me comfortable we was talking all along the test about boxing football etc. I was struggling with understanding the sat nav but he helped remember examiner wants to see how safe you are on road not how well you know the road , I was happy with my driving and mirror checks was immaculate although I missed my third exit on the roundabout he still reassured me and guided me another direction. I fail 4 times on hide test center every time I get panic and end up with major mistake.Today I passed my driving test at cheetham hill. My examiner was Martin( such a nice and pleasant person). He make me relax when I was panicking with test pressure. I even don't feel like giving a test he was best examiner I have ever met. Many people say it’s hard to pass a this centre. I passed first time with Misbaahs driving school with just 8 lessons. My examiner was Ahmed very nice examiner and made me feel relaxed with clear instructions.

Been to middleton and rochdale for my test and failed both times. Had a couple of lesson with Mr Nadeem from Misbah driving school for 2 weeks (take the package he suggests) and had my test today. Geoff, my examiner, was a pleasant gentleman, he put me at ease and gave me enough time to compose myself when I required due to my health issues. Happy to say that I passed.

Ignore all the bad reviews, the examiners don’t want to fail you. You only fail if you give them a reason to fail. I passed first time with 3 minors. I would highly recommend this test centre and the examiners here. Thank you!

Not the nicest of test routes as its very busy with tight turns, sudden speed changes and big junctions but if you are a decent driver you'll pass. Examiner was a lovely man called Richard.

Don't be put off or nervous about the negative reviews. They will mainly be upset people who just failed and are trying to blame something other then themselves. Cheetham Hill test centre is okay. There is a clean toilet, space to sit and tea and coffee facilities. You're not sat there long but it does leave a lot to be desired! I has Geoff as my examiner. He made me feel comfortable but was still very serious on the day, and he marked me harshly but fairly. (As he should). If you can drive and know the area, you'll be fine. DON'T take a test here without driving round the area for a few hours first, you will fail.

passed on my 2nd exam here (two different male examiners unfortunately can’t remember their names). they were both fair, very friendly and tried to make me feel at ease during the exams by making conversation. I didn’t pass the first time due to my own mistake and that was fair of the examiner. I think the pass rates here are low because its closer to the Manchester centre, making the roads busier. Though I’m much more prepared for driving now than ever.

Prior to the test I was nervous as hell & my anxiety got worse closer to the date. What made it worse was reading the terrible reviews & finding out this centre had the lowest pass rate. Completely opposite to what I had imagined. My test examiner (unfortunately can't remember his name, elderly man used to work as a police officer) was absolutely nice & calming! I think his name is Tim. Made me feel very at ease compared to my very first examiner else where, which is why I probably felt more nervous first time & delayed rebooking for a year! Unfortunately I failed due to my own mistake but it's definitely given me the boost & confidence for my next test. Good luck everyone. X

Passed my advanced driving test here. Facilities are not that great no vending machine for drinks or snacks neither a water machine. However they do have a kettel for tea and coffee. Waiting area is quiet small and can get over filled. Restrooms are also satisfactory.

Let's face it, there's only one reason you'll be coming here and that's to take a driving test, so it's never going to be a pleasant experience. As far as test centres go it's had a refurb in the last couple of years so it looks OK. The test routes are quite varied which means some are relatively easy while others are almost always a fail, especially if you are not properly prepared. To take your test here you will need lots of experience on dual carriageways and roundabouts as well as dealing with busy back streets, junctions with poor visibility and meeting situations. This is a big time Muslim area so if you do your test on a Friday afternoon you'll have to deal with people visiting the mosques, which means terrible driving and even worse parking and don't even mention the pedestrians who seem to think it's a free for all, so try to avoid this time when booking your test. The pass rate here is low but that is true of all inner city test centres. It has a car park which means you'll need to learn the bay parking maneuver. If you've never driven a car then you'll need at least 40 hours of tuition as an absolute minimum if you want to pass here or at any other test centre in the area.
