Driving lessons with Phil really helped me pass my driving test first time. I was very impressed with Phil’s high level of professionalism. He always arrived on time and devoted his full attention to my driving in each session. I received plenty of constructive feedback and in the last 5 minutes of each lesson Phil always summarised my progress and highlighted areas for improvement. This allowed me to track my progress and build my confidence overtime. Phil also encouraged and motivated me during each lesson. Phil is an excellent driving instructor and I would recommend him to anybody!

Phillip is a very knowledgeable instructor and has helped me along with my driving lessons brilliantly. His gentle encouraging demeanor along with his patience is helpful when learning to drive. He explains the procedures and manoeuvres carefully along with ensuring you have regular practice to get them correct. He is very encouraging and will praise when he sees you perform good driving techniques and standards and isn't afraid to firmly reprimand when mistakes are made, yet these are done with positive instruction and encouragement. I highly recommend him.

I am grateful to Philip for passing my driving test at my first attempt. Initially I had no self confidence as I had not driven a car in a while and was not used to having the steering on the right. But Philip mentored me, helped me develop and build my confidence, let me know all my weaknesses and we worked on them together. Tough to call, I want to call attention to the clutch issues because I felt like it was a scam at the time. Phil is professional, friendly and knowledgeable but the issue with the clutch almost made me spend more on lessons because I lost confidence in myself, as it happens I passed my test less than a month after phils assessment. Though when I actually spoke to Phil about these issues he was professional and offered a refund for the assessment session, which has done a lot to repair trust.

Philip is quite good at what he does. I had an assessment lesson with BSM before I called AA and you could really tell the difference. He is friendly and at the same time strict with mistakes and this really helps focus on your trouble areas and keep working on it. Having driven before I was a decent driver before the test and Philip gave an accurate estimate of how many classes I would need to clear the exam unlike the previous guy who was trying to milk more classes. I highly recommend Philip.
