Chelsea is an absolutely amazing instructor. I had tried to learn before and I really struggled. Chelsea not only gave me the confidence but she also made me enjoy driving for the very first time. I passed first time with her and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn.

My experience with Chelsea at Monarch was fantastic. She was focused on ensuring I was a good driver rather than just making sure I could 'pass the test' which was my experience with a previous instructor. As a result, I was less nervous oh my test and it just felt like a normal driving lesson and I passed my test 1st time with only one minor!! Chelsea is personable, patient and a great teacher. She has a great way of explaining and demonstrating things that just make sense and have stuck with me. I would and already have recommended her to others.

When I first started out I was low on confidence and unsure how anyone could actually enjoy driving. With Chelsea as my instructor, she quickly instilled confidence and belief in my ability as a driver and made the whole experience as enjoyable as it could've been. The clear instructions, the lesson reminders, her approach to teaching, the flexibility to accommodate my busy working schedule along with everything else meant that when it came to my test I felt ready, prepared and confident and passed my test first time with only 3 minors. I reached out to Monarch after years of putting off learning to drive; I'd tried when I was 16 but I was too anxious and I didn't get along with my instructor. My anxiety had only increased over the years, but from my first lesson with Sharon I was instantly put at ease and started to gain confidence! I passed on my first test with only three minors, and it was one of the best feelings. I really couldn't have done it without Sharon who is absolutely fantastic; she really helped me to feel confident on the roads and knew when I needed a little push to believe in myself. I can't recommend Monarch highly enough; I never thought I'd learn to drive or even feel happy doing so, but now I love it! Absolutely fantastic instructors . Sharon had been amazing and me being a nervous wreck with road fear and anxiety, She helped me calm down and was so friendly and gave the confidence and I passed the driving test first time with just 5 minor faults. Sharon went above and beyond to make sure I was ok , guided me more like a mentor . It was not just about passing the test but the overall confidence to drive on the road , which I received in abundance and very reassuring. I had been with other driving school before Monarch and I can confidently say Chelsea and Sharon are the best if you need to be confident on road .

I have passed my test first time today with only 2 minors and it’s all thanks to Chelsea. I don’t know where to start, she is absolutely brilliant, I can honestly say she is the best driving instructor ever! She filled me and many others (as you can see) with so much confidence and skill it’s unreal. Her patience, understanding and teaching methods are excellent! She really does go above and beyond for all her students. It is such a bitter-sweet feeling passing my test today I’ll miss learning with Chelsea so much, its been a wonderful 5 months. I recently passed my driving test and couldn't have done it without the encouragement and guidance of my amazing instructor Chelsea from Monarch Driving School! Can't say enough good things about Chelsea, she is so friendly, positive and professional. I am so glad that I decided to start taking automatic driving lessons instead of manual like I was before the pandemic hit, and that I got Chelsea as my instructor. Within a few months she built up my confidence and skills getting me test ready! She also went above and beyond to help me book my driving test. If not Chelsea I would never pass my test, she understands you and along with pointing out what wrong you are doing she will say what is the impact for other on road, I recommend everyone to just book ur session and follow what she says, you will be definitely pass the exam, she will make exam a piece of cake for you.

Huge thank you to Chelsea for teaching me how to drive! I couldn't imagine a better instructor - from the first lesson I knew that driving with her will be a lot of fun but also a lot of practical learning which gave me confidence to not only pass my test but also deal with potentially stressful driving situations. If you are afraid of having a random driving instructor, or feel uneasy in a car, Chelsea is the person to go to. She really cares about her students and adjusts her approach to individual cases. I did 15 hours with my instructor Chelsea after trying with another instructor from another driving school twice. Choosing to learn to drive with Monarch will be the best decision you ever make. All I can say is a huge thank you to Chelsea for her unfaltering and continued support and friendship through this entire process. Like some other reviews, I'd had a bad experience with another 'big name' driving school, which left me feeling very nervous, and anxious about driving, and honestly ready to give up altogether. And then along came Monarch, and Chelsea, and everything changed. Being nothing but calm, friendly, encouraging and always positive, (even when making mistakes!) Chelsea completely restored my confidence and faith in driving. Lessons were fun and relaxed, and I honestly looked forward to them each week. Chelsea was always able to explain things in a way that was easy to understand, and so that I could make sense of any mistakes I'd made. Not only this, she went above and beyond with everything she ever did; whether that was finding the time to fit me in extra lessons, or searching late at night for test slots for me. Working with Chelsea left me feeling both fully prepared for the test, and beyond. She took me from being ready to give up, to passing my test, and I now cannot wait to drive my new car! Monarch is the only driving school I will recommend for anybody looking to learn to drive.

Passed first time after just 20 hours with Chelsea! After having taster lessons years ago with a couple of other instructors, I can, hand on heart, say that Chelsea is the only instructor with the ability to make me feel at ease behind the wheel. It was all very relaxed over the course of 2 weeks, we had many laughs and without even realising it, I became a very conscious and competent driver in what felt like no time at all. I was recommended Monarch by a friend who passed first time with Sharon, so of course, without a doubt, Monarch are the way to go if you want a real good chance of passing your driving test. I have absolutely no regrets and can happily say that I am ready to hit the roads! I would also like to mention, you get GREAT value for money, I would have paid a lot more for the end results had I have needed to. Don’t go anywhere else for your lessons! Thank you Chelsea. Best ever decision I made.
