J. S.James literally could not have been a greater driving instructor! He made me feel completely confident in myself and made the whole process of passing as easy as it could be. If you’re thinking about which instructor to take, I’ve been to a fair few and James was the best hands down. Total legend!

Michael was my instructor and he was so lovely and patient! He regained my confidence in both driving and taking my test and was always giving me pointers on how to improve how I drive.
On my test day, Michael did everything to calm me down. He told me he had every confidence that I could do it, he gave me some water in the waiting room and kept talking to me and making jokes until the examiner called my name. None of my other instructors had ever done that much to make me calm, I can’t thank him enough.
And finally, I passed my test yesterday with one minor.

I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone, whether they’re starting to drive for the first time or they’re been learning for a while but can’t seem to get past those test jitters. 10/10!
H. P.Fabulous driving school! I have spent a long time deciding which driving school to go for in the area and never regretted my decision to go with this one. They have a high successful rate for passing driving test first time and their service is both professional and friendly. I had personally valued their teaching approach and support I had received. So much that I have recommended them to my boyfriend who is a current learner. Also, their cars are frequently serviced and are of high standard and quality. Not something you can say about some of the other driving schools judging by the noises their cars make!
L. A.Amazing driving school I moved from the AA to stay with Rob who was my instructor and he was so lovely puts any nervous driver at ease. And past first time with only a couple of mistakes. Every time I had to deal with the office staff they were ever so pleasant. I would strongly recommend them.

h. t.James from oundle driving school is amazing..I started my lessons being a complete nervous wreck, thinking I could never learn but three months later, I passed with two minors completely confident. oundle teach you how to drive not just to pass your test. He went through theory things every lesson and went through everything under the bonnet many times. He made me feel secure and calm. I can't thank him enough!!
M. S.James is the one who restored my faith in learning to drive and is by far one of the best instructors out there. I passed with only 1 minor. Previously, I had failed 4 tests, wasted money on an intensive course, had instructors shout at me etc and I genuinley didn't think I would ever drive. James always put me at ease, tailored my lessons to my learning style, didn't shout or become angry once but always ensured I learned from my mistakes in a constructive and encouraging way. For the first time, he helped me to actually enjoy driving lessons. James helped me to go from failing with 3 majors on my 4th attempt to passing with only 1 minor on my 5th attempt. The Ford Focus is also a really nice car to learn in, very easy to drive and smooth. I would highly recommend Oundle & Disctrict Driving School. I finally feel like a safe driver and ready to hit the road :)
