R. H.My instructor was Lorraine, she was always very calm with me and would make sure to boost my confidence for when I was driving. From having 2 previous bad instructors, Lorraine was the best and taught me things such as roundabouts very quickly; unlike other instructors. At the beginning of my lessons I did not feel confident with roundabouts however Lorraine taught me how to use a roundabout and helped me to know exactly when to go and not hesitate. I would recommend Poets corner and Lorraine to anyone wanting to learn to drive and have their moneys worth. The owner of the company is very professional, he helped me get in touch with Lorraine quick.

H. C.If you are looking for a driving instructor, I cannot recommend Steve and Poets Corner more highly. I started lessons as soon as I turned 17, was nervous but excited to learn. Steve has an professional but down to earth approach and was fantastic at making the whole experience enjoyable. He was patient and explained everything in a way that made it easy to remember and was humorous at the same time ( I cannot vouch for all of his jokes though!)
I am proud to say that I passed first time, going into my test feeling confident and ready to embark on a lifetime of driving independence. Thanks Steve.

Steve is amazing, easy going,a lovely chat with, make you laugh when pulled over for quick chat about driving, of course giving you the confidence to learn how to drive. I didn't have the confidence at all first but was with him for three years and I passed for second time! He was very passionate about giving people's confidences, helping them out and being driving instructor.

Couldn't recommend Poet's Corner more. I was taught by Steve who is very informative and experienced instructor. Every lesson felt like I've learnt something new and even when it was getting overwhelming at times, the support and belief in me was always there. It is our success that got me my licence and I will be forever grateful to have had a such a friendly instructor with terrible dad jokes that I should never be able to erase from my memory.

So much so that I arranged for him to get my daughter through her lessons and ultimately her licence. This was achieved by delivering her to Northampton for her lessons from over 20 miles away after we moved. He's that good!

M.Hi to all looking for a driving school.. i went with steve at poets corner as my sister had him as a driving instructor and he was very highly recomended for his methods making it fun and relaxing. Right from my first lesson steve made it very comfortable and clear about what was going to happen, how he would help and most of all that i was safe. Steve came up with silly little sayings, rhymes or phrases that at the time i thought were clever and i still to this day find myself saying them in my head.... especially at a junction "gap, a filter or back to red, gap, a filter or back to red".
