My review is for Shaun who was an amazing Driving Coach. He was able to tell what my driving ability was from the first lesson and then tailored all the lessons to that ability. He encouraged me when necessary, and gave critical advice when I was struggling. He keeps calm and explains things in detail so you are never left confused. I would recommend Shaun to anyone, as he is very personable and knows how to coach you into becoming a better driver. Truly one of the best Driving Coaches out there. Thank you Shaun.

Shaun is a very friendly and supportive instructor, who really tries to understand who he is teaching and which format best suits his student. He got me to a point of competency very quickly. He was always really encouraging, he progressively pushed me towards the next step, wasted no time and considered whether I was comfortable and made sure I was prepared. The your driving coach app has lots of clear diagrams, information and videos, which I read at home so I could learn quicker and use my time with Shaun for driving. Once we got to the mock tests I really started to feel the pressure. I would beat myself up for making little mistakes, my nerves began to show and I would lose my confidence. Shaun helped me to slow things down, look, plan ahead and expect the unexpected. Shaun was always really good at explaining what went wrong and how to stop it from happening again. I passed second time with zero faults. I'm now a confident and very safe driver, I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I would 100% recommend Shaun and his company, as I have had a really good experience. Its easy to see how much he cared about "Your Driving Coach" and its students. Shaun has been such a fantastic teacher, it has been hard to think of what to write to do him justice! I wouldn't usually write reviews but Shaun is absolutely amazing. I was very nervous to drive after a bad experience with another company and Shaun was so kind and understanding, and always so patient and encouraging! Shaun puts you in control and will not push you any further than you're comfortable with. Shaun adapts his teaching style to each individual and it really made the world of difference. For anyone not sure who to go with, go with Shaun! I've already recommended him to several people and will continue to do this same. I have just passed my driving test today . I am grateful to my instructor Shaun who is great instructor as well as kind and patient with student. Although my English wasn’t my first language he has managed to teach me in a way that I passed my driving test without any fault ( with zero fault). Even examiner was surprised of my driving with zero fault. Shaun is a brilliant driving instructor! Having had little success with driving in the past, I was apprehensive about trying again - however, Shaun rapidly alleviated all my concerns, answering any questions I had and making sure lessons were tailored to suit my learning style while also challenging me to progress quickly. He is patient, encouraging and always believed in me, even though I often doubted myself and in our many discussions, he gave me a lot of useful, practical advice which helped me to challenge and change my very self-critical (and often negative) thinking. During lessons, he explained everything clearly and in detail, making it easy to understand and never hesitating to go over things again if needed. He is also great at giving feedback in a constructive, supportive way, which helped me to correct any mistakes and improve my driving quickly. Over the last few months, Shaun has not only taught me how to be a safe and careful driver, he has also helped me learn how to think more positively and to have more confidence in myself. I can't thank him enough for all his help - I would never have passed my test without his support and would highly recommend Your Driving Coach to anyone wanting to learn to drive!

Shaun is the best ever! He is such a good instructor and he has helped me so much during my time learning to drive. So pleased with our experience. I really don't think there are words that can describe just how excellent Shaun is as an instructor! He is patient, a huge motivator, and has provided incredible support to me not just for my driving but also whilst I've tackled some big life obstacles this year. He really acknowledges that everyone is an individual and is incredible at tailoring lessons to suit each student's needs. I felt that I progressed incredibly quickly and that Shaun helped me to feel in control and confident in my decision making. I started learning with Shaun after having over 20 hours with a different instructor and I’m so glad I switched, I wish I started with him in the first place. 🚗I am so unbelievably chuffed that I passed my driving test this morning first time with just 1 driving fault!🚗 I can’t thank Shaun enough. Thank you for your patience. After lockdowns, Covid, and cancelling my test in December as I ended up in hospital, Shaun has done whatever he could to get me back into the swing of things and ready for another test. Where to start... Shaun is not only the best instructor around, he's also such a genuinely brilliant guy. As an, ehem, mature learner, he had such patience and understanding with the difficulties that come with being that bit older and more cautious! He always tailored the lessons to suit what skills I was hoping to develop and always listened to the many many doubts I had- spending time explaining and allowing me to practice things again and again. I never had any issues with arranging lessons around my shifts as a midwife and he always tried his best to juggle his many students to accommodate all of us! I was reluctant to take my practical test, purely down to self doubt, but after weeks of Shaun saying I was ready, I finally believed him and passed today first time! Although I used to wish I had started to learn nearly 20 years ago, I am so glad I waited and had the absolute pleasure of learning with Your Driving Coach as I truly believe it made me the best driver I could be. I can not recommend this company enough, for anyone of any age. But if you are self-doubting and in your late 30s and have always thought it was never a possibility to learn to drive- then you MUST seek out Shaun as he will change that round. Honestly, absolutely brilliant.

Where do I start? Shaun has been the most amazing driving instructor ever!! From the word go he had tailored my lessons to what suited me best and helped me learn. I would sometimes step back in my lessons but Shaun helped to push me to my full potential, quickly but safely. Not only did he help me with the practical side, Shaun was so so helpful in getting me through my theory. He would go out of his way to give me tips and tricks for memorising things ect. The website is super helpful with videos on a whole range of things like the manoeuvres that sometimes I struggled to remember reference points. Honestly the most lovely and understanding man I have ever met and I am so grateful to have had Shaun to get my through my test. After 3 awful previous instructors, I had given up on the idea of ever getting a license - but having started with Shaun , I was glad I found someone who enjoyed his job and it showed in his teaching style. I had an absolutely amazing time with this school! As someone from a different country where the roads are a lot simpler, and no traffic lights, it's easy to say I was very nervous and full of anxiety. My lessons with Shaun were fantastic, he tailored every lesson based on my progress and always explained to me the basics from how the engine and gears work, to the road system and parking! Not only were the lessons educational and progressive but we always had fantastic conversations! I was recommended Shaun by a friend when he was with How2Drive, I'd never had a lesson before starting with him and I'd quickly became comfortable behind the wheel thanks to Shaun's teaching style, he is very good at figuring out what pace you learn at whilst giving you the push you need to boost your confidence on the road, I couldnt have asked for a better driving coach, his ability to ease your nerve with conversation whilst also keeping you focused on the task at hand isn't something you'd find with most other instructors, without Shaun and YDC I wouldn't have been able to achieve the 1st time pass in both theory and practical tests like I did, couldn't have gone with a better driving coach and would recommend to any learner drivers no matter what level of confidence you have, wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars as the service you receive from YDC goes beyond, best in Norwich!
