A. S.Khalid Aziz was my instructor and he has been very supportive and encouraging throughout my journey to learn and finally pass my test. As I am working in NHS as doctor, Khalid kindly accommodated me in for lessons with my busy schedule at short notices.

Because I am from India , In India driving is very different, so it was very difficult for me to drive here. But his driving lessons helped me a lot to became perfect driver in the UK. If you're an anxious driver, I highly recommend him! He pushes you to keep going and encourages you to build confidence in your abilities. I went from having panic attacks in cars as a passenger in 2021 to driving independently with confidence after 8 months of lessons (just over 20hrs). I first learned to drive in Canada and had not driven for 15 years. Khalid was very helpful in explaining the UK driving rules and techniques to me. If your anxious about driving, have courage and take a leap of faith with Khalid. He will help you every step of the way!
E.Himdad is a wonderful instructor. He is lovely to deal with as a parent - thoughtful and diligent. As well as practical skills, he instilled confidence and calm in my daughter, taking her through to a first time pass. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

E.I had Sami Vakili as my driving instructor. He was great, very patient and professional. I would absolutely recommend him.
He was the 3rd driving instructor I have had lessons with, having attempted the test twice a few years back (not in Oxford). He was absolutely the best of the three.
I couldn't take my test with Sami because I moved away from the area, but, remembering all he said and practicing with my mum in our own car for 2 weeks, I was able to pass with only 2 minors.
I would also recommend LDA more generally because of the programme they use to progress you through the course. It is well structured and the driving instructors have a book with very good diagrams/pictures to support what they are explaining.
The price is also pretty decent. I paid in cash each week and I'm grateful that was an option because of my financial circumstances. Sami was also flexible with when I needed to miss a week or so.
A. B.Learning to drive is a breath taking adventure in a completely new world of junctions, hazards, roundabouts and responcibilities. The main constituent of success Is to find a great instructor, guiding you through this adventure. Sam Bahaddin from LDA had became such Driving instructor for myself. I shifted from dreading the process to loving it and being able to safely conduct every aspect of the actual driving. Amazing progress and great value.

My driving instructor Khalid Aziz helped me pass my test on the first time, Khalid would be honest if I needed more lessons making sure that I was fully ready for the test, highly recommend Khalid if you want someone that will show you straightaway what you need to pass the test, getting straight to the point and making sure you get what you paid for!

j. j.Thanks to LDA and especially Mr.Muhammed Itani who was my instructor, I could pass my driving test with zero fault on 15 of August 2022 .Before Mr. Muhamed Itani I had another instructor. But I couldn't learn anything from him. I wasted my money and time.In my country driving is very different , so I was struggling to drive in uk especially round about. Round about became very easy for me after taking two lessons from Muhamed. Unfortunately when I get date for my practical test he was fully booked, so I had to take another instructor for my test. I highly recoment Mr.Muhamed who wants to pass their driving test with zero fault. Apart from that he is very friendly . He will correct our fault in very right maner. I was one of them people that never thought I’d be able to pass my driving test but with khalids guidance and years of top tier teaching experience, khalid knew exactly how to talk to me in moments when I found it difficult. He was so calm and patient and made you feel so comfortable while learning.He was also really good at getting you on a road you didn't feel comfortable at by sneakly giving you directions until you end up on that road and then you realize it's not actually that bad.
Ali is a massive credit to your driving school and I would highly recommend the LDA

In three 2 hour lessons, Mohammed was able to get rid of some of my bad driving habits after 15+ years of driving, update my skills and knowledge to match the UK standards, and teach me the ‘safety first’ approach that the examiners are looking for. I was able to easily pass my driving test on the first attempt.

L. *.Today a miracle has happened and I have passed my driving test with Khalid Aziz. It was my 2nd attempt, as the 1st time I was veeery stressed. I cannot find enough words to express my happinness and my gratitude towards my amazing and patient instructor. Inspite of 2 lockdowns and my ups and downs, Khalid has found the right method and managed to teach me driving. I have also seen him with other pupils, he has an individual approach, lots of experience, patience and great sense of humour. We had a lot of fun during the lessons and he managed to find the right words every time I needed support, help or advice.
If you think you will never be able to learn driving or if you are sure you will never pass the test, then I highly recommend to have Khalid Aziz as your instructor. He specialises in special needs driving skills;) and after having me as a pupil, nothing can challenge him anymore;)!
I want to say a massive thank you to Khalid for being so flexible and understanding, not to mention the fact that he has found time on New Year's Eve and the 1st day of the New Year for our lessons, as my test was coming.

I still can't believe it, but I passed my driving test at the first attempt. For someone like me, who by nature has absolutlely no talent for driving and is also pretty nervous when it comes to it, this is a HUGE achievement.
I remain forever grateful to my amazing instructor, Khalid Aziz, who never stopped believing in me (even at times when I lost all confidence in myself!) and whose wit and humour brought cheer to every single lesson. Khalid is not only an excellent instructor with the ability of making even the most particular of brains understand driving, but also a great human being.
I feel extremely lucky to have discovered this gem of an instructor and will forever recommend him to all of my friends and acquaintances!

M. J. K.Really enjoyed my driving lessons with Aziza Elrashid. She gives clear instructions and explains situations well. Once you grasp the basics, she gives you a bit more freedom in your own driving to help you boost confidence and learn to make your own judgements, which is really helpful when I started driving on my own after passing the test so really appreciated that.
U. A.I had belated searched for driving schools/instructors, and required a full driving licence in relatively short order. I contacted the Oxford LDA and took lessons with Dilshad Rahmanji. My lessons started with her in July, and by the middle of October I was able to take my test in Oxford (having got lucky with a cancellation on the driving test booking system). Thanks to her thoughtful and professional guidance, I passed my driving test first time (with 4 minor driving errors). I was very lucky to encounter Mrs Rahmanji and the Oxford LDA - her knowhow and significant experience ensured that I was in extremely good stead to take my driving test after only 3 months, and I am very grateful to her for efforts.
T. O.Maher was brilliant throughout. I had a license from Brazil so had to adapt quite a bit for the driving in the UK. Maher doesn't beat around the bush to tell you exactly what you need to start doing to pass the driving test. He's direct but very patient and always willing to clarify doubts.

My instructor Sami was clear, prompt, and responsive with his communication throughout the various lockdowns, and a calm and encouraging teacher during lessons. Despite his extremely busy schedule, Sami fit in extra lessons in the lead up to the test and thoroughly briefed me on what to expect. S. S.Thanks to LDA and especially Mr. Maher Labbad who was my instructor, I was able to pass my driving test with ZERO driver errors. Mr. Labbad is the man you need if you want to pass the exam the first time. He is very expressive and identifies every aspect of your driving style be it if you are a beginner or a experienced driver.He encouranges to work on the weak points and stresses on the points which the examiner would look at. This helped me a lot. Given the fact I came from the USA, adjusting to the UK system was initially tough, but it was made lot easy by taking classes with Mr. Labbad. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to pass their driving test to go with LDA and if possible with Mr Labbad. He will assess you accuratly and give precise information which is very helpful. I couldnt believe I passed the test with ZERO driver faults(you are allowed to make 15), but after having the time to think about it , it was fairly obvious because Mr. Labbad did an excellent job. He built my confidence and over prepared me for the test. The value for money is high and I would not hesitate to recommend LDA to help you get your driving license.

He would have the A/C on in all lessons to keep it comfortable.

I found his teaching style to be perfect for the way I learn and finding the right person is very important when learning to do anything. There was a lot of flexibility with lessons, which he worked hard to fit around my schedule. Not only the time of the lesson but where I needed to be, or picking up from. I felt that things were tailored to me and we learnt at my pace, being guided gradually through the stages of learning and in to the test. He is a very friendly and personable character, a down to earth and funny guy which certainly helps. Something as serious as learning to be a safe driver is a lot easier to digest when coupled with the occasional laugh! D. W.Mike B is an incredibly thoughtful instructor. Passing the test is mostly about managing stress and anxiety-- not about driving skills. Mike knows this and has a good plan to get you ready. He arrived nearly 2 hours before my test and took me through a relaxed route to build confidence. We arrived at the test centre nice and early. He was calm and supportive. I was still anxious but managed to hold it together well enough to pass my first time with Mike (1 previous fail with a different instructor). Mike genuinely cares about his students.
As he said throughout my lessons, you need to "boss the road" and Mike is the man to turn you into a boss!

Ahmad, my instructor, was able to quickly assess my driving ability and helped me focus on the rusty areas, teaching me very useful pointers and techniques that made the manoeuvers that I had been previously been overcomplicating seem simple.
Ahmad's flexibility with lesson times also allowed me to balance working a full time job with my lessons, which was greatly appreciated.
All in all I highly recommend this driving school - Driving Tests are horrible but Ahmad took me into the test feeling confident that I should pass, and sure enough I did.

L.I passed my driving 1st time with Khalid Aziz. After about 8-9 months of learning to drive while working shifts he was very patient, and flexible! Khalid always tried his best to consider my shifts and always let me know if he had any driving lessons if I had to cancel short notice, I really appreciated this. He is a very experienced driving instructor and I always felt comfortable even in stressful situations (the littlemore roundabout). He had a great sense of humour which helped if I was getting stressed! Khalid was very honest about my driving, and would tell you straight if what your doing isn't good enough and that worked well for me!
The only negatives is that I was not aware about the questions the examiner would ask me about the car (when you first get in the car to start your test) untill 5 minutes before the test. I got a minor for this which annoyed me, Although I passed so it's all good!

C. B.I had ups and downs with LDA Driving School.
Unfortunately my first instructor, Ahmed, failed to answer my texts after my first lesson. Thankfully this was quickly sorted after calling the School and speaking to Sayeed.
Then they allocated me with Jan, with whom I had 3 lessons. Unfortunately again, he was not available to give me any further lessons, nor was he free on the day of my driving test - although I told him the date right on our first lesson.
Once again, this was luckily quickly resolved after speaking to Sayeed, who I presume to be the director/manager.
Finally, I got Khalid Aziz as my instructor. What a delight! He is extremely nice and attentive. He gave me the confidence I needed and great tips (including some YouTube videos which were really helpful)! This allowed me to pass on my first sitting with only 2 minor errors!
All in all I would recommend LDA, but choose your instructor carefully - ask for Khalid, you won't regret!

E.I just passed my driving test today with zero faults thanks to my fantastic driving instructor Ali D! He was very flexible and always worked at a pace that I could understand. With just two weeks he taught me all the relevant things I needed to know for the test and turned me around from not being very confident on the road to now already planning where I will drive in the coming days. M. O.I passed first time with Khalid Aziz as my instructor. He was encouraging from the first lesson to the last, and learning to drive certainly didn't feel a chore at any point. Not only was he amiable, well-informed, and enthusiastic, his teaching was clear and easy to apply practically on the road. And if that isn't enough, he was also incredibly accommodating of my terrible organisational skills and kind enough to fit me in at times outside of the normal working week.
Finally, Khalid seemed more nervous than I was on the day of the test, perhaps owing to the personal investment which, from the many anecdotes he tells, is clear he puts into each pupil he teaches. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a downside to passing first time that I won't have another driving lesson, but I don't suspect there are many people who could make the practice of "clutch control" through Oxford's slow-moving traffic a relatively enjoyable endeavour.

I. P.I had Himdad as my first instructor, and coming from around 5 hours of practice in my mum's car he was excellent at finding out how confident and capable I was and adjusting the lessons straight away after the taster one. I progressed very quickly with Himdad, learnt a lot and have today passed my test first time with only one minor after just 2 months of driving with him. The car is good to drive and the techniques for manoeuvres were easy to learn and simple to carry out. Would highly recommend Himdad and the LDA to any learner.

S.I recently passed my driving test with LDA and Samir and I have to say the company was fantastic in terms of administaration of lessons keeping receipts and sending them via email and text to you so there is no confusion about payments and they were all friendly and helpful. Samir my instructor was amazing, very friendly and nice but also instructive and very helpful teaching me how to do all manoeuvres with ease and also general on the road driving. He was very knowledgeable and always provide details useful tips on every lesson which went a long way to passing my driving test. I cannot recdomend LDA and Samir enough.

I highly recommend him as he was able to instil confidence in my ability to drive throughout the course of our lessons. He consistently remained calm and collected through all of the stalled engine mishaps and shear panic whenever I made an error in roundabouts (which even my parents couldn’t do, haha). He was very understanding and reassuring whenever my anxiety gets a hold of me during driving, and would adapt his method of explanations to my own way of learning.
I’ve always looked forward to our lessons, because I’ve always come out learning something new and improving on a skill we’ve worked before. Above all, it’s also because he is genuinely a very friendly and very approachable person. The banter and the humorous conversations helped with the nerves and made me feel at ease throughout our driving lessons.

I did an intensive course, 25 hours over a week, followed by 5 hours just before the test the following week - Jan went above and beyond to make sure i had all my time (picked me up at 6:30 in the morning on the last day, so I'd have practice time immediately before my very early driving test).
I had driven before (took lessons 14 years ago but never got round to my test), but forgotten almost all of it when we started - by day 2 we'd gone over every manoeuvre and moved onto roundabouts - then it was just lots of practice! Jan was very patient with my poor memory and i was able to overcome a number of bad habits when it was time for the test.

S.Learned with Khalid Aziz as my second instructor as the term has started and was certainly pushed and challenged to progress way more than the first instructor I had did, eventually leading to a first time pass today. Throughout the lessons, my instructor was also pointing out points where I could improve on. Though he focuses on having drivers figuring out issues and fixing it on their own, help is still offered (most of the time) when required.

Because of certain logistical complications was also driving with Matin and Sayed and both of them were great too! Highly recommend this school. Would give 6 stars ;)

I have around 10 lessons with him, he was really helpful, taught me all the right things, sometimes stern but I think the instructor has to be. We covered many routes within Oxford, I spent a lot of time driving rather than talking/ theoretical stuff. I learnt all the key manuevers, he had nice techniques for it.
Overall, I am really happy with the guidance and instructions I received from Himdad.

He was professional and polite; his tone was supportive and constructive and never condescending. I think this is especially important if you are not a very confident driver. I also appreciated how he performed an initial assessment of my skills on our first lesson and mainly focused on what I needed more coaching on instead of trying to completely change the way I already drive. (I'm a US expat with 10+ years of driving experience.) I don't have much free time so definitely appreciate the focused approach. This also made me trust him more; I felt like he wasn't just trying to get me to schedule more lessons with him. Definitely recommend Yasser. I took lessons with him to learn how to pass the test but I ended up with more than that- I feel more comfortable and confident driving in the UK and I am positive he made me a better driver.

So, the weekend before my Monday test last month, I booked 4 lessons with with LDA and Ahmad Ammuri. LDA's phone system was poorly managed when booking, but I got the most out of all lessons, and Ahmad told me all the ins and outs of the test and safe driving in the UK. Passed first time! Thanks! C. L.I cannot recommend Sayed highly enough. I had 2 other instructors before I found Sayed and I'd failed 2 tests. My confidence was at an all time low and I'd started to think that I was simply "one of those people, who isn't supposed to drive". L. L.I just passed my test earlier this month with my instructor Jan Hajo from LDA! I had a very long frustrating driving experience with another driving school initially and I was taught nothing after 40 hrs of driving - not even basic manuvours such as emergency stop and bay parking etc, never mention being safe on the road. I was at the point of giving up driving until I found LDA and the super Jan was assigned to be my instructor with his diesel car! Jan has his special receipes on polishing driving skills - he structs the lessons very well and very patient on guiding the studenst to practice the weak points. Jan is a great instructor and he cares about the students - I am so proud to have learned my driving from Jan and LDA. I highly recommend Jan and LDA to all those who are still on the quest to obtain their driving licences!
R. S.Just passed from the first attempt. I'd like to thank Sayed and LDA for the help with passing the test. Sayed was never late, always friendly, patient and eager to explain all the details. Even though I didn't feel confident enough, he managed to boost my confidence and cheer me up before the test. Also, I'd like to mention that LDA has awesome videos on how to use roundabouts in Oxford on YouTube with a bird sight view. They were extremely helpful!
In addition to that, one of the most important things is that Sayed clearly understands what the examiners are looking for. I've watched quite a lot of videos by other driving instructors and most of them were misleading. So, if you're looking for the professional lessons with no-stress, you've come to the right place. R. A.Elias is a very good instructor : he is patient, calm, and pretty humorous. He is organised and always punctual to the lessons. He does not rush the students or talk at them continuously (which some instructors do, and it just takes your attention off the actual driving, I think).

D. H.just passed my driving test 2nd time.Special shout out to my instructor Syed who was incredibly helpful through out the process. Don't think I would've done it without his support. Lessons were scheduled flexibly around me in advance and could be changed if need be, and the teaching style was relaxed and friendly. He also taught the manoeuvres in a way which suited me, I had invested my hours and hours and 100s of Pounds previously with' RED' with a lousy instructor but literally had no idea until Syed taught the same.
Looking back if only i knew LDA with instructor like Syed I would have been able to pass with just half the time and would have saved loads of Pounds. Nevertheless, now I am on the Road yayy. I have no words to express my thanks more eloquent than this Syed.

I passed my test first time, with no minor faults - a perfect score - due to Jan's excellent tuition.
Jan provides clear, concise technical instruction. He was great at boosting my confidence, and was always kind and patient when I was struggling to learn something. Each lesson was enjoyable, and Jan was fantastic at providing the motivation and encouragement to ensure that I learnt as much as possible in each lesson.
My skill at driving increased significantly every single lesson. We covered new material rapidly, however throughout each lesson Jan would also continually reinforce what I had learnt previously. The content of each lesson was adjusted to focus on the manouvres, techniques and scenarios that I found the most difficult.
Finally, I was working whilst learning to drive, but Jan was always flexible and accommodating to book lessons at times that fit around my work commitments.
Overall, I had an excellent experience learning to drive with Jan and Oxford LDA. Thanks!

J. H.Feeling brilliant. I passed first time, this is because of the detailed training broken down into simple steps which allows time to think and observe whilst on the move. My instructor Enver Berisha was paicent but also vigilant so it always felt like a safe trip. More importantly he was straight to the point and would tell you the specifics of your strengths and weaknesses in order to improve your driving ability.

The instructor Mike is nice and patience. He can teach me in a simple way and make me feel more and more confidence during driving on the motorway. Before that, I always feel nervous when driving on the motorway. Here, I also want to thank Sayed and Jan. I have had lessons before with another instructor but could not pass the test. Sayed asked Jan to correct all my driving faults that were ignored earlier. However, Jan changed to automatic teaching later and cannot teach me further. Then, Sayed asked Mike to help me out. Finally, I passed the test with few minor faults.
