I contacted several of the training providers in Cornwall that offered the C+E training and Alec immediately stood out as being superior. He was warm, friendly, consistently communicative and above all 100% professional. Alec trained me for 7 days in which I passed the reversing, driver CPC and practical tests first time. I was cautious of providers that offered the complete package in only 4 days and was correct to do so - there is no way that I could have passed all tests in this time period; it is simply too short. If you are unsure in any situation then Alec goes above and beyond to reassure you, while offering a multitude of solutions to help consolidate your understanding. Alec is meticulous in his knowledge and sets very high standards which prepares you for all eventualities on your test. On test day I felt calm because I knew that I had been trained well. Notwithstanding, Alec has prepared me for driving alone now that I have completed my training and I am confident to go on the road unaided. Not only have I received excellent training but also gained a friend along the way. Even the driving test centre examiners spoke very highly of Alec and quoted him as 'one of the best trainers in Devon and Cornwall'. I would recommend Alec Hooper Driver Training without hesitation - a first class company who are 100% committed to their pupils. A superb experience from beginning to end.
