I cannot ask for a better instructor than Deen. He has been very patient from the beginning and always gave excellent tips throughout my learning. Whilst learning to drive I had quite a few worries with manoeuvres. However, with Deen's way of teaching and from his advice I was able to quickly grasp everything and was confident. From the beginning of my journey with Deen, he had always taken me on many test routes which enabled me to get rid of the examination feel. When it came to the time of exam I felt very calm as Deen pretty much took me on all routes. Thanks to Deen I was able to pass first time with only 5 minors. Which I am more than happy with. Deen has been nothing short of amazing, I would recommend anyone looking to have the best learning experience and pass the exam first time to go with Deen. He is such a humble and patient person, cannot go wrong with Deen.

My instructor Deen is such an amazing person and driving instructor. Deen was recommended to me by friend, who was recommended to him by another friend ... All of whom passed their exams easily with Deen after struggling more than once with other driving instructors. Deen is very patient and professional. He is never tired of repeating his instructions always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are 100% ready and prepared. Deen is also very knowledgeable of the Reading area and exam routes. He will make sure over the course of the lessons that you are familiar and comfortable with all the possible test routes. I would highly recommend Deen and the Henley Driving School !!! Update: today was my driving test and I passed first time with only 1 minor fault. Everything I was asked to do in my driving test, every road and every maneuver I had already done with Deen. Two days before my test, we did a mock test which was near identical to my test today. I am super grateful to the Henley Driving School and all of Deen's effort with me. I wish them all the best ☺️

Excellent driving instructor. During your driving test you won't experience any situation for which you haven't been trained for. And also Deen is a wonderful person, you could not find a better person to teach you how to drive. Always calm and professional, I was lucky to have him by my side.

Dean has been my driving instructor for the past couple months and he's been absolutely brilliant. When I first started with him I was very nervous but he was always a calming presence in the car and never made me feel like it was my fault when I made a mistake. He's especially good at teaching the maneuvers, giving great references to help break them down. Most importantly He's a great person, and I've really enjoyed my lessons which I never would've suspected.

Deen is a fantastic driving instructor with a calm, enthusiastic & friendly demeanor. He has never raised his voice at me for a mistake. In my lessons we have fun whilst learning and he is very detail oriented which has helped me learn quickly. He is very flexible and accomodating to my limited schedule of availability and has never made me feel like it was a problem. Overall really friendly and super encouraging.

I passed my driving test today, first time!! This is an unbelievable achievement. I started learning to drive with Deen at the age of 25, I had never driven a car before and to say that I was nervous and hesitant is an understatement. I never thought I could get to where I am today, but I have been proven wrong. Deen taught me everything there is to teach, not only to pass my driving test, but also to feel safe and confident on the road on my own. Besides his teaching (to which Deen is dedicated more than anyone), Deen is a great person and I was happy to spend time with him during my driving lessons, I was actually looking forward to my next lesson all the time. He’s very patient and adapts his teaching to his student. He knew that positive feedback made me thrive, so he used that in my favour. I could go on for ages, but all in all, my suggestion is: if in doubt, call Deen!

Deen is the best driving instructor I could have asked for. He is very patient and always provides the best teachings possible. The preparation provided is at the best quality, so there are never any surprises in the test. With Deen I learnt all the test roads and was prepared for anything coming up. Over the last week, I have spent more than twenty hours in a car with Deen, so I feel that I can say with some authority that Deen is a superb driving instructor as well as an excellent human being. Deen possesses the perfect temperament to be a driving instructor. One of the first things he said when I first got in his car was ‘don’t worry, I will never get angry’ and, despite my driving giving him just cause on several occasions, he has remained commendably true to his word. Whether I’m stalling twice at the same set of lights or blindly launching his car into oncoming vehicles at roundabouts, Deen has always remained astonishingly calm and measured. His teaching style is very methodical and easily comprehensible, and his kind but competitive personality is infectious, making the student actively want to improve their driving and correct their mistakes. This leads me nicely onto Deen’s professional excellence. Not only is Deen an exceptional general driving instructor, he is also excellent at preparing his students for the specific rigours of a test environment. He knows the Reading test routes like the back of his hand and teaches you how to drive in a manner that is not just safe, but that actively ticks the examiner’s boxes. Deen is not just a master instructor, but an excellent driver himself, and I have witnessed him more than once take the wheel and pull-off challenging manoeuvres without ever leaving the passenger seat. Away from the wheel, he is commendably organised and willing to help, even agreeing to phone me when I was the other end of the country for university and offering me over 20 hours of lessons in the week preceding my test, despite having known me for about half an hour. I have only known Deen for a week and there is already so much more that I want to say that I am leaving out to stop this turning even more into an essay than it already is. However, I will end by saying that Deen is also an amazing human being. He is friendly, modest and incredibly intelligent with a brilliant sense of humour. It is, in a way, unfortunate that Deen’s ability as a driving instructor has turned me into a (hopefully) passable driver because I could quite happily spend a lot more time with him than I have. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Deen enough. He is truly one of the best in the business.
