I've just completed my DAS with ADT. What a week! Henry is a fantastic instructor, incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I couldn't have done it without the instruction he gave me. The other instructors down there are friendly and welcoming. Bikes are in good condition. Could invest in some better ear pieces for the radio's though? Passed my mod1&2 first time. Fantastic facilities to learn with and to be honest learning to ride around, through and in the New Forest is awesome on it's own.

Very happy with my experience and I would recommend ADT to anyone looking to learn to ride a bike. Such a great riding school, I had three days all with the same instructor ( Henry ) he was a really good teacher with plenty of patience and great knowledge, really easy going and relaxed environment to learn. I would recommend ADT to everyone that wants to get their motorcycle license, from a complete beginner or if you've been riding on a provisional. I met the majority of the instructors throughout my 3 days of training and all seemed like nice guys but Henry was especially amazing! Thanks to ADT for all your training.

I completed my direct access with these guys earlier this month having no real previous experience - the entire course was fantastic.. perfect amount of riding time, instructors were EXTREMELY patient and knew how to explain everything multiple different ways and in all honesty, they were a laugh too. Bikes were amazing, kit was good.. would absolutely recommend ADT! I even travelled a couple of hours each day just to use these guys! I passed too, first time.. thanks to the big boss man himself! A big cheers to H and Deano - just in time for the summer.

A great experience during my direct access training. Did the four day course with Henry, our instructor. Easy to get along with, good calm clear instruction and advice. Loads of on road experiences and both myself and Sean (Henry's other trainee) passed first time. The bikes we used were reliable and easy to ride. Excellent value for money compared with some other training schools out there. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend doing your motorcycle training with ADT, from the booking to the training they were extremely helpful and supportive. I had never ridden before so went for the 6 day DAS course and never regretted it. Within a week I had passed my CBT and with the expert tuition from Dean I passed my MOD 1 & MOD 2 with flying colours. So even if you've never ridden or had previous experience I'd always say go with ADT for your next training.

Today I completed the CBT course and Deano was my instructor. I had an absolutely fantastic time. I have had a car driving licence for 25 years, but this was my first time on a bike. I was a little worried I may not be tall or strong enough to manage the bike, but those concerns soon vanished. Deano and the other instructors were really friendly and supportive. I spent plenty of time on the bike and Deano was very patient, enabling me to get out on the road with confidence. I would recommend ADT if you're thinking of having a go, no matter your age, size or gender!

What a wonderful experience! Very pleased with my instructor; Henry, who was very supportive throughout and made sure to focus on the positives and build my confidence. Great instructor who was very patient and calm, allowing me to feel confident (in making mistakes as you learn from them!) Wonderful people and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I was surprised at how fast I was able to receive my certificate and drive on the roads throughout to learn. Great daughter and father outing! We did not come correctly equipped but the instructors were able to ensure we were protected by providing us with helmets, gloves and jackets. Recommend 100% and thank you to Henry and Dean, for the wonderful experience which had been a little daunting and nerve wrecking during the start.

Did the CBT course a few weeks ago for a 125cc geared bike. I had never ridden a motorbike until that morning and, albeit more nervous than I thought I would be, I felt incredibly confident with Jim’s expert tuition. Out on the road, Jim made me feel very safe and was a calm and thorough voice in my ear! Couldn’t recommend these guys more highly- fantastic day and I’ll certainly be using them for further tuition to get on a bigger bike. Thank you chaps.

Even Deano, when he took control for part of our mod1 training, showed nothing but encouragement and support. The examiners that they use in Lee-on-solent make you feel relaxed and comfortable. This is a little bit late, I did my direct access Training at the begining of November, i Booked a four day course & i can say it was money well spent, I have always gone with ADT for all my CBT's four to be exact & every time i have always been made welcome from day 1, this is why i chose ADT for my direct Access. I was a bit apprehensive & very nervous about taking my big boy test, but from day one when i arrived & was greeted by Deano my instructor, well there is not enough words that can describe him as an instructor, he made me feel at ease straight away, if i had any questions nothing was ever to much trouble weather it be a silly little question or a big question, the way he instructed & directed Maneuvers to me me was very clear & precise, Deano was A top Bloke. I highly recommend ADT, & of course Deano is incredible, Thanks to Deano I am now enjoying my Yamaha tracer 700 all thanks to him, Thank you Deano & ADT

I had a great experience doing my Direct Access course with these guys in Southampton. Having never sat on a motorbike before I did my CBT and then a 5 day course, my instructor's instruction and teaching was professional and rewarding and I picked it up quickly and safely. Unfortunately the other guy on the course did not speak great English which slightly hindered the training but I still received enough training and by the morning of test day (both Mod 1 & 2) I felt more than prepared. Passes MOD1 no problem, but failed mod 2 with 1 minor and a silly mistake that the examiner deemed to close to a parked car. But after 2 months off (holiday and shortage of test spaces) I jumped straight back on the bike and passed the same day with ZERO FAULTS!!!! This I can only put down to the excellent service, training and instruction. Thank you ADT, I hope to see you on the road The instructors are all super friendly and easy to get along with and the instruction is second to none, if you been thinking about doing your bike license then just get on and book it like I did. You could be zero to pass standard in less than a week!!!

I was so nervous about taking the CBT as I did not know how to ride a bike at all. But I went to the ADT centre in Southampton and right from booking my test until the end of my test I had a positive experience with ADT. Ian was my instructor and he is simply the best! Very patient and went through everything perfectly. At the end of the day, I can not only ride a bike but also I am confident that I will be able to go on alone on the roads. That's what he kept saying, have a positive view and be confident. It did help mentally, for sure. Had a lovely CBT day, today! :-) Thanks!!!

Brilliant instructors. Had previously completed my CBT with them. That was my first time on a motorbike and they helped me complete it first time! Went back to do my module 1 and 2, passed both first time with the help of these guys. Would recommend to anyone looking to get into motorbiking or wanting to progress to bigger bikes. Reasonably price with great intruction, thanks ADT!

This company is outstanding. The instructors are superb and their way of teaching just sticks in your head. Henry is a calm, patient, instructor and firm when he needs to be without being rude. Deano is a really good teacher and someone who you can have a laugh with too. (Not that Henry isn't). I passed in 4 days with 2 minors over on mod 2 and 0 in mod 1. Use these guys and listen to what they say and do it. The bad reviews on here are either blatant liars or competitor's trying low blows.

Booked my direct access with ADT and specifically asked to be with Deano for the week, who I had heard good things about, and I wasn't wrong. I had not rode a geared bike since the late 1980's and have been riding a 50cc scooter only for the last couple of years. But I thought I would go "all in" and try for my "A License". I booked a five day course and started on a 125cc bike (for my CBT) and quickly felt comfortable thanks to Deano's tuition. Later that day Deano introduced me to the Kawasaki 650cc, which I was nervous about, but again Deano's expert tuition skills come in to their own, and it turned out to be a doddle, again thanks to him. By mid week it felt like I'd been doing it for years, and at the end of the week was my test. Well, I passed, and the rest is history. The great thing is about Deano is that he gets you to a level of a 110% for test day, even though (as Deano puts it) "you only need to be at 80%". He literally leaves no stone unturned in his teaching, and it's made easier by him being a top bloke who is good for a laugh once you have settled in. I will finish this review with a stat, and for me was a clincher..... Deano once had 49 passes in a row...... 49 IN A ROW. That's how good he is. Thanks Deano, I will see You at sainsbury's at 7am. I might even buy your grub for ya ;-)

I've just completed my CBT with ADT. The instructor was brilliant, he was very clear and patient, and I had a fab day completing my CBT! I would definitely recommend ADT to anyone wanting to learn how to use a manual or automatic 50cc, or 125cc bike.

Never ridden a bike before but decided it was time aged 54. Did my CBT late May, got a 125 to build some experience, did a DAS in mid August, passed full test on the 14th August, purchased a future-classic CBF1000 GT a week later. Not stopped grinning since the CBT. Thanks Richard & Deano for taking me through it all with patience, professionalism and great humour.

Did my direct access training from a complete beginner starting position so booked the 6 day course. CBT was Nigel and part Deano, then Deano for the rest of the week. Very understanding and patient throughout. Clear, calm instruction and feedback during the on and off road sessions really put you at ease. Deano also helped me adjust my technique for my lack of height which was a challenge. Feedback provided during training was constructive and always resulted in improving performance. They were all very happy to answer any questions and provide advice on gear and bikes going forward. On top of that it was great fun too. All the instructors I met were a great bunch to be around. Passed first time. Highly recommended.

Dean is a fantastic trainer, couldn't ask for more!! My son was turned away 3 hrs into his CBT training by Lee at Assured Riders Training Ltd, due to experiencing 'serious' balance issues that couldn't be resolved during the CBT. I decided to book the following week with ADT.. Andy was very helpful in answering all my many questions. Dean was a fantastic trainer and my son came home early with his CBT certificate. Massive thank you to ADT. If you or your teen is nervous, have no bike experience or need an instructor who is patience then this is the right place to come. Did a 2nd CBT with Deano about 18 months ago, as I had been to Fatboy Motorcycle Training shortly before that and was given a CBT when I was in no way in control of the bike. Deano was shocked that they had even let me do the on road part of the CBT, let alone given me a CBT certificate. Anyway Deano got me in control of the bike and through the CBT course. I then did a 4 day DAS course last week with Deano again. I got though Mod 1 with no minors and Mod 2 with 1 minor. Many thanks especially to Deano for getting me though both the CBT and DAS courses. Would definitely recommend ADT Motorcycle Training. Stay well away from Fatboy motorcycle training!

i spent couple hours practising on geared bike in the area but decided i wasn't ready to go on road with it so did cbt on scooter, instructor Bev was really good, i am deaf with cochlear and was bit nervous to be on road but as soon i got on road, i knew i smashed it. i will be buying a geared bike but wont go on road till i practise the clutch control, couldn't have done it without bevs help. HIGHLY recommend this cbt course, especially if you have disabilities or are deaf and nervous about doing it, go to this one, you wont be disappointed

I have just finished a 4 day Direct Access course with Deano at ADT and what a FANTASTIC 4 days! I was nervous to begin with, riding a 600cc was a daunting experience, but after spending the last 9 months on a 125cc with a CBT certificate (cheers Henry at ADT for that one) it was time to sort everything out and get my full licence. The 3 days training was hard work but so much fun learning how to "throw around" a big bike (in a very controlled fashion i'd like to add) in preparation of the module 1 part of the test (slow control) and then going out and getting up to speed was a great and comfortable experience on the 600cc bike getting ready for the module 2 part of the test (road riding). After 3 days training the big day was here SO we had a Mod 1 practice in the morning, perfect at this point, then a little ride out to the test center again, fun and relaxing but then BOOM my nerves came back, I believe it was the clipboard! Deano very kindly reassured me that it was no different from the previous 3 days and to just relax. A few last tips, do exactly what we have been training for and RELAX! Guess what? I am now the holder of a Full UK motorcycle licence! Cheers guys for another one of the best days training I've ever had! A great big thank you to everyone at ADT! p.s Sorry Henry, looks like you have some competition but Deano's bikes were bigger! :)

Best thing to say, 8 people did direct access the week I did & 8 people passed, that's not easy! Patient enough to repeat what you need to change to get it right. Firm enough to make sure you know you aren't passing unless you fix your faults. Top outfit, had fun.

In my life I have not met such a calm and cultural driving instructor.
