Yesterday I attended Burton to do my Mod 2 and pleased to say I passed. I had done my Mod 1 at Garratts Green. At Burton I was put at ease, nerves squashed by the examiner straight away. The examiners were great and can't thank the team enough. I'm not one to write reviews but the experience I had yesterday was amazing and the team deserve some recognition for that. Keep up the amazing work your doing.

I did both my mod1 (with Dan) and mod2 (with Dave) of the motorcycle test here. What an amazing experience, both times, both Dan and Dave have been amazing fellas, and very professional. Both times I was made feel relaxed and confident, the guys know what they're doing, and they do it well. Would absolutely recommend anyone who can, to book here and do their tests. Simply, excellent staff!!

I took Mod 1 and Mod 2 with Dave and Dan. I am a nervous rider , Dave always tell a joke and make me feel relax before the test. you have no idea how good that feeling is for a rookie rider. I do wear the Glasses and native language is not english, took Mod 2 in Rain day. Dan told me to relax and i can stop safely to clean my glass , really help me a lot. thanks so much for both examiner.

Today I met the latest addition to the Motorcycle Examiners team, Phil. The students I took for test were most impressed as they found that Phil was professional and a calming influence. The students although being on test felt less pressured and nervous, making the whole experience a pleasure. They attained the result they were hoping for. As a instructor for a local training school I have found all the examiners to be a credit to your organisation. All examiners at the Burton test centre are approachable and professional in the role they perform especially Dave, Dan and now Phil the motorcycle examiners.

Did both my Mod 1 (Dave) and Mod 2 (Dave then Dan) here. Both Dave and Dan were great. I did not pass my Mod 2 first time but Dave was encouraging of my overall riding and that next time id be fine and i was. A bag of nerves but both examiners are cheery and do not pile on the pressure meaning i actually had an enjoyable ride.

Just done my mod1 bike test here and i have to say. Absolutly fantastic atmosphere really friendly staff a1 service thankyou. Edit. I have done my mod2 bike test today and again brilliant atmosphere make you feel welcome and at ease. I'm not from the area so was feeling a bit iffy about the test. But no passed first go. Nothing worse than when you get an examiner who is dead serious and grumpy looking.... puts you right off lol. Well not a chance here they are brilliant people.

I went with LDC to take my Mod 1 Motorcycle test and met Dave for the 2nd time the examiner, he is great he puts you in a relaxed mood before you start the test, he is fair and sticks to the rules but does give you very good guidance and does have a nice persona and genually wants you to pass , what a great morning I had with at Burton test centre and fantastic tuition from the guys at LDC. The staff here are really good and know how to settle you down! they are very clear communicators which helps. Remember you start with a pass! the rest is up to you. Really professional people and even though I passed first time, I saw first hand how they dealt with telling people they failed and eager to help people learn how to pass next time.

Passed my motorcycle MOD 1 & 2 here in August 2021, both examiners made me feel relaxed and talked about bikes etc before the test, they explained what was going to happen clearly and that i had been training for this so remember what I'd learned and after the testd I was told what mistakes I'd made and how I need to improve as I go forward but even the negatives were explained positively. Great test centre, easy to find just off the bypass.

As a 51 year old newbie to all things motorbiking (I sat on my first one in August this year). I went along to my Mod 1 test with low expectations! Dave (there is only one!) took me for my test - what a gent! Friendy, professional and with easy going banter that put me at ease. Thankfully I passed which came a s a huge relief. All in all a great afternoon and left with very positive impression of both Dave and the test centre.

Passed my mod 1 first time failed first attempt at mod 2 due to leaving left indicator on past a left turn (totally justified) Corrected it 12 days later and passed my mod 2 with relatively good feedback. Big massive thanks to Dave Pedley for taking me through my mod 1 and both my mod 2 tests and making me feel comfortable and relaxed through all 3. Highly reccommended.

Lovely guys here, I was expecting jobs worths with clip boards but they was very friendly and helped me feel relaxed. I failed but that was purely my own fault. After the test I was given constructive feed back for next time, I will definitely be going next time feeling more relaxed.

Dave, the only dave, no other dave, just the one dave, was a pleasure to do my MOD1 with, and would recommend others to make sure they also do their motorcycle tests with this dave, no other dave, must be this one exact dave. Seriously. No David's allowed. Not sure why I had 2 DVSA examiners stare at my white motorcycle boots though, must investigate this matter further.

I had a really great experience on my test day. Sarah was really lovely and calm which was exactly what I needed as I was a nervous wreck. Today I woke up from a long nightmare which started with Derby test centre. I feel so happy that I just past my driving test at another test centre ——Burton Test Centre. Although I didn’t pass it at my first attempt there, I have learnt a lot from the tests there. All the examiners are friendly and equally treat every candidate. This is more important than the result itself. Nobody can imagine how painful I have been feeling after I experienced two unfair assessments at Derby test centre. It was why I transferred to Burton. Fortunately, Burton didn’t disappoint me. Now I can move on. Thanks Burton and my examiners there!

I explained to Steve Kidd what was wrong and that I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks and he was amazing, putting me at ease and letting me do each component at my own pace. Passed my test on my second try (both occurred here) and I have to say that the instructors here exceeded my expectations. You always here horror stories about instructors that want people to fail, but that won’t happen here. The instructors talk you through everything and try their best to make you feel comfortable and able to talk to them, and ask any questions needed. They’re very patient and understanding, which is really helpful for those suffering with test anxiety. I’d recommend anyone to go here for their driving test.

The examiners at Burton are fantastic they always put my students at ease and give great encouragement and feedback. The debriefs are motivatinal and help ensure the students improve. I have been using this centre as a Motorcycle instructor for 2 years and Steve and Dave are brilliant they are professional and have a great rapport with the candidates. Everyone knows you are likely to be nervous and they do everything they can to ensure that the candidates relax which helps get the best result for your student. I speak to the other examiners on a regular basis and everyone there is so friendly and customer focused. They are also great at motivating those students who did not pass by giving thorough and constructive feedback in a sensative manner. I feel I am extremely fortunate to be able to use this Test centre and I really enjoy bringing my students for their test. Thankyou.

The motorcycle examiners are by far the most professional people by far. I have been to various test centres around the country and Burton test centre is by far the best centre and has the staff to match. The DVSA should be proud of their achievements at this centre.

Fantastic experience and I've had 3 unfortunately [but hey thats my fault]. Came here for Mod 1, slightly nervous but they are great at putting you at ease. Came back for Mod 2....again very nervous but they can see we are all nervous and put you at ease [failed first one, but learned so much from the experience]. Came back for second [because I made a stupid idiotic mistake on first one, kicked myself ever since and definitely learned from it] Mod 2 and passed [I was twice as stressed on this one but once we were out on the road it was all great]. Even when waiting and nervous I can see the Examiners on the car test are also very calming, so different to when I took my car test in Nottingham [total silence on my test in Nottingham, very un-nerving].
