I had an difficult time with pro teach as my old instructor John Rees wasn’t the kindest as he was always putting me on pressure and had a bad tone. I had a driving test in February 23rd and he did’t want to give me the car as he thinks I wasn’t ready even though he told me to book it. Then 2 weeks later he apparently left burton , so 4/10 experience.

After having lessons before covid and then we went into lockdown, resitting my theory due to the pandemic, I was having lessons in a manual, I was struggling with gears etc being a slightly older pupil my instructor suggested an automatic. This is where Phil Brewer came to my rescue!. Phil is such a lovely kind and genuine person and totally changed my way of driving. I lost my Mother in November and this added more pressure, not only did Phil learn me differently he changed my mindset mentally, he remainded calm when I made a mistake, where as I would panic, I can never thank him enough. Phil Brewer completely restored my confidence in driving. After passing my test aged 18, I moved to london and didn’t drive for nearly 20 years. We moved out of London and into Willington, and so driving became a necessity. I was so worried about getting back behind the wheel as I’d never been a confident driver and I have two small children which made me extra fearful. Phil was absolutely amazing. More than a driving instructor, a miracle worker. I came to Adeel with a test booked, tight on time, and a dream, not that I recommend doing that. He understood my timeline, he structured everything to my liking, and bang! Passed! First time! Through covid, conjunctivitis, and a funeral, he never allowed me to feel like it wasn’t possible. I had automatic driving lessons with Darryl from Jan - June when I passed my test. I was a nervous driver who had bad experiences with other instructors previously (no one from Pro Teach). I had about 40 or more lessons before I started with Proteach and never really got the hang of driving. As soon as I started with Anne I felt more confident on the road then I ever did with my other instructor. She has such a friendly personality I instantly felt really comfortable and calm instead of panicking all the time. I 100% feel better about driving now and really enjoy my lessons. I joined Matt early last year after having tried to pass my test previously with another instructor, and lets just say I was definitely not ready for my test haha. But as soon as I started with Matt all the faults I had were fixed and I was driving so much better, and when he said I was ready for my test I actually felt confident enough to take it. I'm happy to say I passed my test first time with pro teach and I couldn't recommend them enough, I even got my sister to join and she just passed first time as well! Learnt to drive with Kas and passed first time within about 9 months, despite having zero driving experience when I started. Cannot recomend him enough! Probably one of the most patient people ever, he put me at ease right from the start when I was a complete nervous wreck! ProTeach is awesome. Ann who booked my lessons worked extra hard to fit me in during the summer period. As for Scott Pitcher (my driving instructor) is by far the best instructor I have had over the past two years. My first instructor would get angry when other drivers break the rules and would start shouting in the car. That never helped me while learning to drive. The second was very good but trying to pass in Derby is difficult by comparison to Burton-on-Trent which has much better roundabouts. Scott's banter is what helped me relax while learning to drive. I am so happy and wish everyone to have an awesome driving instructor like Scott. Thank you :)

I was an extremely nervous older learner who, on top of that, had a bad experience with another driving school. I messaged ProTeach through Facebook and was very fortunate Ann picked up my message, she restored my faith in driving instructors instantly. I began learning with Ann in manual and she was brilliant, she made me laugh and calmed my nerves. Unfortunately due to hip problems, I had to switch to Automatic. I was very nervous about changing instructor again but Ann reassured me that I would be fine with Andrew. I genuinely can't fault him, he notices all the little things I'd forget where many other teachers would miss me skipping a mirror check etc, and he's really easy to get on with and funny! I'd also always struggled with manoeuvres and got them sorted really quickly with Scott. I'd 100% recommend him as very thorough and like I say SO much better than other teachers. I passed with him and I'd think I'd have taken several more attempts with my previous instructors! Once you've had a few it's quite easy to see when you've got a good instructor. I was recommended to go to him by my friend who also passed first time with him :)

ProTeach was recommended to me by my brother who after 3 attempts with other driving instructors, passed first time with Proteach driving instructor Matt Lawler. I now have lessons with Matt once a week, I've had some bad experiences in the past with other driving instructors which had left me nervous to say the least. Matt has been a patient instructor, and is helping me gain the confidence I need to be a good driver. I am confident that when matt tells me I should take my test I will be ready! Driving with Matt is not like other sriving instructors, he has the radio on and chats with you for the whole hour (he also teaches too) which I think is great because when you pass your test and your on your own you will be able to focus when having these little distraction around you. Yay First Time Pass and i never thought id do it never mind first time, i started learning to drive when i was 19 and gave up when i was 20 as i had no confidence and to be honest driving scared me, i am now somewhere in my thirties(just) and this year in Jan i rang Proteach explained how nervous i was and they sent me Andrew Brown, well what can i say about this instructor, from the moment i stepped into the car i felt like i could really do this, he filled me with confidence and the support he gave me was unbelievable, even through taking my theory test he wanted me to text him my result so the support was not only given in the car but all through and i didnt once feel like just another learner he was teaching, I am so glad i chose proteach for learning to drive and would recommend them to anyone who is wanting to learn to drive.I can guarantee you put the commitment in and proteach will put it in ten fold....
