I passed my test today thanks for the help from tony being very helpful and professional and made every lessons enjoyable. I looked forward to my lessons each week. tony was so reliable if I had any issues and had to reschedule as long as I give prior notice he would be willing to rearrange my lesson, also if he was running late I would receive a text saying if he was running late. thanks again tony for helping me pass my test will highly recommend to other people looking for a amazing instructor.

His instructions are always clear and easy to understand as English is my second language. Tony helped me overcome my anxiety and become more confident on the road. Last but not least, Tony is a reliable and trustworthy ADI. This is indeed the most significant quality to me when I look for an instructor. Given that I live in a different country to rest of my family, I didn’t have a family car to practice with outside my lessons with an instructor. A huge thank you to Tony who has been a great instructor and helped me a lot for the test preparation. He is experienced, he is kind and he also teaches a lot about general driving. Thanks to excellent tuition from Martin, I passed my manual test first time with him. After struggling to pass due to driving anxiety with a prior instructor as soon as I started to drive with Martin that anxiety settled and thanks to him I am now able to confidently drive on the road. I passed my driving test first time. Without Elwyn, it was impossible. Prior to coming to UK, I had 10 years of driving experience in my country, which is a lot different from driving UK. Last 7 years in UK, I was always living near to my universities, and it seemed unnecessary to get a driving license. However, situation changed, and I needed a driving license quickly. As it’s been while I have driven a car, my confidence was at level zero. Besides, the style I used to drive differed totally from what we do here in UK. So, at first it was extremely difficult for Elwyn to remind me same things repeatedly. Despite his continuous effort, I forgot different instructions and rules of the road. Yet, he kept himself calm and composed and instructed me with what we were doing and explained why we did that specifically. His instruction helped me to grasp the benefits of being observant and safe driving. Without his support, it would have been impossible to pass the driving test, let alone in the first effort. I highly recommend Elwyn and his driving school for driving lessons. His vast experience and knowledge will help every future driver to become a sensible and safe driver. Today I passed my practical driving test first time! I could not have done it without Martin!! I’ve tried other learner schools and completely fell apart on every lesson! I was ready to give up until I was recommended autolearners, after finally deciding to give it a go I had my first lesson with Martin and straight away he made me feel at ease. Just recently passed thanks to Elwyn. My first driving instructor wasn’t very professional nor polite. He didn’t seem to have patients for new drivers. I was very nervous at driving and didn’t have any confidence what’s so ever until I met Elwyn, who is a very experienced driving instructor and not only that but very friendly and polite to his clients. Elwyn believed in me and gave me my confidence back at driving. I made so many mistakes at driving and not once did Elwyn became angry or agitated towards me he just said “ you tried your best” always happy and bubbly and very caring person. I trained to become a driving instructor at auto learners and Elwyn was my instructor. The process of becoming and instructor is not an easy one with only 50% of people who attempt this Pass . I was extremely nervous as I new I had a mountain to climb if I was to be successful. From the very beginning Elwyn assured me that he would be able to get me to pass , which helped tremendously to calm my nerves. And he wasn’t wrong as I passed my part 2 exam first time ,then went on to pass my part 3 first time also ,which has only got a 12% first time pass rate . And I have only been able to complete this due to Elwyn’s patience time and vast knowledge . I couldn’t have hoped for a better instructor who has taught me to a really high standard of practise . Update to my review, first time pass with Elwyn, with lockdown it’s been on and off but with all the help from Elwyn jumping back in the seat was always a good experience. I honestly didn’t believe it myself and he helped me to believe in me and change my whole attitude on my driving. I am currently learning with Elwyn, what an amazing experience it’s been already. I’m a very nervous person, who suffers with terrible anxiety which Elwyn has helped endlessly (feeling like a new person in the car). In total I’ve been learning to drive for 2 years with different instructors and to be totally honestly I didn’t start learning how to drive until I had my first lesson with Elwyn in November. He has so much patience and helpful knowledge to teach you ALL you need to know about driving. I had totally given up on myself as a learner and driving until I met Elwyn. If you think you cannot do this, tried and felt like you failed or are maybe had a bad experience I can guarantee you with Elwyn at Auto Learners you will leave that feeling behind. Tony is a fantastic teacher and very organized. He made an assessment and suggested a number of sessions for me. During the sessions he taught me many details and rules of driving. He is very caring and prepared me for the test very well. On the day of the test, we met more than an hour before the test so I’d get comfortable with the car and driving. I had a really nice experience and would highly recommend this driving school.

So I had the pleasure to be thought by Elwyn. He is by far the coolest Instructor I or you will EVER have. Everything he told me regarding the car or the rules was well explained and thoroughly done. I had some good questions as well some stupid one but regardless of what it was he still explained them to me. For me as I never drove here before I had no idea of how thing work or are done but right from the first class everything was easy to understand and was fun learning. The way Elwyn teaches is fun and engaging, I didn’t have a single class where I felt bored or anything. Also I’ve never seen someone with the ability to park a car from the passenger seat as Elwyn can. Its like he as a birds eye view of the car at all times! It truly is epic to witness! I passed my driving test on my first attempt and if it wasn’t for him I doubt I would have. I really cant thank him enough! To whomever is reading this looking at choosing Auto learners and manual learners you are in great hands! I cant speak highly enough of him and the way he teaches you just need to witness it for yourself. Also Elwyn does this thing with the traffic lights which I don’t have a clue how he does it but as we drive up to it and he says “change” and they do, its literally like he’s a Jedi!

I went to him as he came highly recommended both my sister and I were his students. I liked the idea of gaining confidence in a controlled environment (industrial park) before going out in the road. I understand some people may not like to spend much time in driving around at industrial park but personally it helped me to gain my confidence. I had over 60 lessons to get ready for my driving test, probably because I started with less confidence. As an instructor, Elwyn is well experienced, patient and very helpful. Passed today with just 4 minor faults after 12 weeks of lessons with Mr Ball.He talks you through everything so you know what to do, when to do it but more importantly WHY you are doing it.He will build your confidence and before you know it you'll find your character behind the wheel. Another thing is he isn't short of pupils so he won't drag the learning process out like some other instructors would being they're income, he wants as many passes as he can so will always push you in the right direction. You might get fed up with the phrase new road new mirrors but on the day I promise you you'll be thanking him silently in your head.You might find someone on par with Martin but would be very surprised if you find someone better.
