I would Massively recommend Julie Murphy driving school! James, my driving instructor has been so helpful, a great teacher, so understanding of problems you may face when driving, and is so calm when dealing with what most definitely are stressful situations for him in the passengers side. Doesn’t force or rush any situation to make sure it is perfection. And more importantly has understood how things in your personal life may get in the way of driving lessons or the driving itself. Which has been massively appreciated Over the last year!! Thankyou again for all your efforts to help me pass James!!

Julie is a very friendly and approachable person who possesses a good degree of knowledge and experience to provide suitable guidance to succeed the Standards Check. Julie taught me a new method of teaching, to facilitate rather than instruct. As an experienced driving instructor I was still instructing and hadn't appreciated the new methods that are now being encouraged. So, with my ten years experience, it didn't bode well when it came to my standards check. However, with guidance from Julie I was taught how to Q&A new drivers and three core, with a question of how to prevent and remedy faults. I owe Julie a big “Thank You” for the help and time taken to prepare me. I would highly recommend Julie to anyone wanting to improve their instructional techniques. Now, having achieved my objective, I can go forward and polish these new skills and provide a better service to new drivers. Thank you, Geoff

This weekend saw my third anniversary of passing my final exam to become a driving instructor. I really cant believe that I have been fully qualified for that amount of time but as I look back, I have seen well over 100 students pass their driving tests, been reassessed by the DVSA (as all instructors have to be) and been driven around Castle Combe Racing Circuit numerous hundreds of time as part of the instructor team conducting under 17s lessons with the circuit’s Startline courses. None of this would have been possible without Julie Murphy who trained me in all parts of the profession and still to this day is always there for me when advise and support is needed. I cannot recommend Julie enough as a top rated driving instructor but mostly as a fantastic instructor trainer. Its a difficult process requiring three exams, a lot of study, expert driving and the ability to teach. If you are thinking about driving lessons or becoming an instructor, then Julie is the person to talk to. She is patient, methodical and paces lessons to the pupil/trainee. She is also an expert when it comes to qualified instructors approaching their standards assessments. Thanks you Julie for this fantastic career and looking forward to hearing about all the new instructors you have trained.
