Darrel Winfield is amazing he has incredible patience and is very thorough with what he teaches. After a few previous failed driving tests with different instructors I was relieved when I met Darrel. I started my lessons with Darrell in January and was incredibly nervous about learning automatic after a bad experience with manual but within one lesson ,Darrell changed my perspective on driving. He was amazing and patient throughout all of our lessons which made driving more fun and enjoyable instead of a chore which made me more motivated to pass my test. I passed my test at the end of June and can’t thank Darrell enough. He personally cares about his students and celebrates their successes as if they were his own. Darrell helped me to achieve something I never thought was possible and I’ll forever be grateful for him :)

Where to begin...I suffer with pretty bad driving anxiety and have always put off learning to drive. I passed my theory and driving test first time with Darrell. I feel this only happened due to Darrell’s complete support and kindness. I felt comfortable in his company from the first lesson. Darrell has a natural ability to see a persons strength, or weakness is and is able to tune into these to get results. I’m so glad that I chose Darrell for lessons, he was incredibly patient, kind, helpful, firm when needed and lifted me out of some very difficult moments throughout the learning process. I always got home with a huge smile and felt great for the rest of the day. I found Darrell to be extremely trustworthy and genuine, he always had a smile ready for those dreaded lessons 😆 and always made sure there was coffee aromas in the car to keep me calm ☕️ If you are in any doubt, scared or just need a decent instructor this is the guy for you! I miss our lessons and still have ‘what would Darrell say now’ moments while I’m navigating our busy roads. I can’t recommend him enough and will be forever grateful for his kindness and support. I never, ever thought I’d be a driver but Darrell helped me to change that. I can’t thank you enough Darrell, keep doing what you’re doing. Watch out for those lions and tigers 🐯😂 ✌🏼

I passed my driving test with Daz and I must say he is an excellent instructor! I’ve had my fair share of instructors but he stood out for me. He is detailed, patient and keeps you at ease during his sessions. Definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an excellent instructor to get over the nerves of passing their driving test.
