S. E.AHD Driving School. Honestly? Excellence. My entire experience from start to finish was 5 star (and I finished, passing 1st time - just Incase you were wondering).
Simon (my practical instructor) was a highly experienced tutor demonstrating the perfect balance between professionalism and lighthearted, banterous friendliness. (he’s a people person, which in my opinion, is essential when behind the wheel in what seems to be a nerve wracking environment).
Most importantly, above all, Simon understands and is sensitive to each student and their differing, specific learning needs and caters for that. For example, I’m dyslexic, learning for me is most efficient and effective when visual, kinaesthetic or creative (at time’s he thought I was crazy), but that’s the thing, he understood, accepted and adapted to my brain and it’s personality, ultimately creating the perfect learning environment.

S. D.I was incredibly nervous about starting to drive, I felt that it was something I should have done years ago, but never had the confidence to do. AHD had the best introductory priced offer that I could find online for total beginners so I gave it a go. The team were absolutely brilliant, in all aspects from the start offering excellent flexibility with booking my lessons around my busy family life. AHD / (Simon), was incredibly supportive, calming and professional, as I was possibly one of his most nervous and anxious students. I was given outstanding support and clear concise instructions whilst I was learning, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of information documents to support manoeuvres, theory based and practical test Q&A’s. After successfully passing my test – I also enrolled myself onto the Pass Plus scheme with AHD to help cover areas where I was still anxious. (A - roads, busy city driving and harsh weather conditions as well as the more intense motorway driving.) I have whole hearted praise for all the staff, and I highly recommend them to everyone I know who are considering learning to drive. Thank you very much AHD. (Rachael L)
