A.After having 3 previous instructors who weren’t great and two failed driving tests, James was a welcome breath of fresh air! He has a calming approach in his teaching style, he will encourage you to face fears and he will make sure your technique is spot on. I couldn’t recommend him more! M. W.James is a fantastic driving instructor. He is calm and kind and got my very nervous daughter through her test first time. He seems to have a very good first time pass rate and I think this is because he doesn’t put people in for their test until they are ready. Most importantly he has taught my daughter to be a safe driver. Thank you James for helping her through this important milestone.

For me, I often lost my confidence with some of the maneuvers whilst learning, but James' commitment to improving my confidence with driving enabled me to pass my test first time !!!
Driving can be quite a nerve-wracking experience, especially in your first few lessons, but James is so passionate about driving and is such a lovely guy that he makes you feel relaxed and the tips and lessons he teaches are incredibly valuable. In my opinion, James doesn't just teach you to drive so that you can pass your test, he is teaching you the skills required to be a safe, independent and confident driver for life. He's great at giving advice and very positive, supporting me all the way. He's also really friendly and encouraging, constantly keeping in touch and doing his best to fit me in. He has great expertise and patience, always solving any problems i had. If you're learning to drive, i highly recommend learning with precision driver training. B. K.I would describe James first and foremost as an incredibly patient instructor but also creative and thorough. He knew when to stretch me by telling me to give something another try (Rainbow Hill anyone?) but also when to call it quits and come back next lesson with a fresh mind. Most of all, I really appreciated how he regularly encouraged me by pointing out even the smallest things I was doing right as it really helped to build my confidence (of which I was lacking!). On the other hand, even when I got it wrong, he corrected me in such a way that I never feel put down or discouraged; sometimes it was just a little mistake that deserved a laugh.
In the end, I felt more than prepared for my test and appreciated James' confidence in me to book my test as early as possible and even check for earlier dates, which allowed me to get my license almost a month earlier than I had originally booked. Overall, he's a great guy and instructor who I would recommend to anyone!
