couldn’t recommend Craig any more he was super laid back and extremely helpful made me feel a lot more comfortable with the entire experience of learning and has helped me pass first time and become a good driver, I have and would recommend P1 to anyone!

I passed my test first time earlier this week with only 4 minors after having lessons from Ceri and Craig. I had Ceri for the first few weeks and she was very patient teaching me when I knew nothing. I swapped to Craig after a while and he helped me get my driving to a high standard and explained everything in a way that was really easy for me to understand and remember and would explain things to me as many times as I needed. I'd highly recommend both of them if you're looking for driving lessons. Thank you both!

Just want to say a big thanks to my driving instructor Craig. He is a really great driving instructor and has helped me pass 1st time. He is extremely calm, patient and friendly and will help you overcome any fears while driving and help you pass as well a be a good driver overall. I would definitely recommend using P1 to learn as well as recommending them to any friends or family too.

Martin is a really great instructor! very knowledgeable and knows everything to need to know to prepare for a test. He’s also very funny and also very patient when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing in the beginning. Could not recommend paul bennett enough, ive had 3 instructors before paul who had no where near the experience he has, he always made me feel at ease and was very understanding of my work hours chopping and changing. I decided to start driving earlier this year and P1 Drive School came through a recommendation, more specifically an instructor called Craig (he had previously helped some family members pass at their first attempt). I would definitely recommend Craig and P1 Drive School to anyone thinking of starting driving. My experience was brilliant, he was very easy to be in a car with and actually provides honest feedback in a professional conversational manner. I would look forward to my driving lessons everyweek as I found it both an education as well as time spent having some good conversation with a brilliant man. I passed my test on the first attempt and can only show gratitude to the preparations and discussions had with Craig. I went into the test very calm, confident and actually enjoyed it (just treat it as another driving lesson). I wish Craig all the best with the future and I hope he gets many more passes to his name as any new drivers will definitely get a pass with P1 Driving School.

I had Martin as a driving instructor. He's a great character with a calming presence. Martin explains road discipline and signs very clearly. He also has excellent tips for completing successful manoeuvres. I passed my practical with Martin today after having 5 previous instructors before him and failing my test several times. I highly recommend.

Can't recommend P1 Drive School enough! My driving instructor was Lee, the most patient, fun and caring instructor I could've asked for. Even tho my test was cancelled several times due to COVID and I only managed to get like 4 more lessons before my actual driving test after more than 7 months of not driving at all, I managed to pass my test first time with only a few minors. His techniques worked the best for me. Choose this driving school, they will not let you down. Driving lessons should be fun, your instructor should not yell at you or be harsh cox you're learning and you need time to do so.

I had lessons with Martin at P1 from January 2020 and have finally passed my test!! Would like to say thanks as he was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout my time learning, particularly when this was disrupted by 3 lockdowns! Martin explains things very well and does a fab job trying to make sure you’re the safest and most confident driver. All whilst having a laugh and making sure you’re comfortable in the drivers seat! 10/10 instructor, would recommend to anyone!

All in all I would highly recommend this driving school, especially Craig as an instructor; he built up my confidence in my own time but pushed me when he knew I could do more. There was also a lot of lesson flexibility which was difficult for me and my timetable so that was incredibly helpful. He was very supportive of me throughout and I couldn't recommend him or the driving school more.

I passed first time with Lee as my instructor at p1. He is awesome! I started lessons just before the pandemic so I had a lot of frustrations stopping and starting again, both theory & practical tests being cancelled left right and centre and honestly without Lee egging me on, I would've probably quit. He was professional, funny, helpful, & understanding. Always putting my mind at ease and always up for a chat and a laugh about anything and everything. Just wanted to say thank you to Paul Bennett for helping my son Declan get through his test first time today. He has been a great instructor, always arriving on time, and being flexible with lesson times when needed. As a key worker, Declan was ready for his test when lockdown started. Paul helped him with advice over the phone, kept me informed of what we needed to practice, and kept us updated on when tests were resuming. Paul also supported Declan in using his own car for the test since he had become more confident using this during lockdown. Paul has now helped both my children pass first time, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I initially started my driving with Craig back in college and ever since then every lesson has been enjoyable and I've always felt like by the end of the lesson I've made progress always counting down to the next lesson. Then when I had passed my theory test, I didn't even need to think about which driving school I'd sign-up to. Craig's passion, determination will see you through to the end.

I cannot reccomend Leah from P1 driving school enough she is the perfect instructor! I passed my test in barnsley a few days ago first time with only 2 minors and I couldn't have done this without her. Leah is a great teacher who is really down to earth and professional, now ofcourse passing first time I am going to praise my instructor who wouldn't? However it's only days after now in my own car where I am more than confident on the road due to all the information and driving techniques Leah passed on to me. A test lasts 40 minutes but when you pass, the real test starts and for me having 2 children under the age of 4 its important I understand and drive with confidence and learning with Leah gave me the full package not just help with passing my test. After getting my licence overseas ten years ago, it was helpful to drive with Simon to learn what the British requirements were for the driving test. Simon was calm and friendly, consistently praising me for things I did well and gently supporting me to learn a different way of driving. Simon was available on short notice for me to reschedule my driving test for the same day. I passed for the first time with six minors. I cannot recommend him enough as a teacher!
