Excellent service at a competitive rate. The engineer did everything we asked and more taking care to carry out his work to a high standard in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the work that has been undertaken. The engineer set out to us from the outset the best options for us, explained how long the work would take to complete and the cost. The engineer was professional, very respectful of our home and incredibly patient (despite our many indecisive moments). I would highly recommend City Electrical Services.

Shakeel is very skilled worker and won't stop until the job is done. He even fixed my electric shower and bless him for taking the time to fix it with just a little cost. He even helped me on the phone on what to do prior to him coming to fix our problem which is a bonus nowadays. He explained everything he has done and given me options. I just received tremendously helpful advice. None of my lights downstairs were working and I had tried all the obvious steps to address it and reached out to this company to come out. Instead, Shakeel took the time to give me real helpful tips and stayed on the line whilst I followed his instructions and resolved the issue without the need to use/pay him for his services. I'm super-impressed and grateful and will definitely call him when I need some works done!

He was the best electrician I have ever used. He was extremely polite and helpful. Shaqueel is not one of those type of negative people who will only tell you the worst case scenario. He will work with what's there and find the easiest solution to the problem using what is there. He is very practical in that sense and works around a problem and gives you options. If i could rate him more than 5 stars I would.

Shakeel came out on a Sunday to repair my fuse box which had suddenly lost power. He arrived within an hour, found the problem (a loose mains cable) and quickly rectified it. He also tidied up and secured the cables to prevent them getting accidentally pulled out again. He was reasonably priced, very polite and I would recommend.

I called Shakeel as I wanted to have our shed wired for electricity to house our appliances. He was very polite and arrived that same afternoon. He shut off the supply in the old shed and then when we'd had the new shed put up ,we called him again and he wired it up in a couple of hours.His work was neat and professional, and good value. I booked Shakeel based on his great reviews and I can confirm that he completely lives up to them. He was absolutely fantastic, dealt with our problem (electric radiator issue in a rental property) extremely professionally, liaised independently with my tenant and fed back to me straight away what had been agreed between them and called me after his visit on the day after his job letting me know that it was all sorted. So efficient, prompt and reliable. I've found my go to electrician!

CES are a shiny beacon in a world were commonly we let down, over-charged and made to grovel for attending on time, by tradesmen. I was lucky... my burnt-out cable was buried in a brick wall We just did not know where ) and was tripping all my switches; they came over when they said they would. They stayed until they finally found where the fault was. They fixed it and advised me on safety for the future. Despite over-running my a couple of hours , they honoured their original quote. Superb! Or '"that'll do", as they say in Yorkshire!
