Prompted by the good reviews and also advice from my main garage, I visited Goodwins to sort out my lighting issue. Kiran was brilliant. He immediately understood the problem and explained it clearly without being patronising. With the main problem sorted, he worked out how to deal with the remaining issue. I have an old model auto - he is really interested in cars. Another customer needed to have his car sorted before a long journey and I heard the team working out how to do this - they really want to do the best for every customer as far as I can see. If you are looking for an honest and practical auto-engineering business this is it.

Excellent job carried out by Kieran of hard wiring my dash cam after Halfords failed and said they couldnt do it because of no power going to OBD port, which is not a recommended way to install it. Also Kieran checked the port and low and behold it did have power but it wouldn't have been any good because two power supplies are required. Kieran did a great job of hiding the wire through the loom and although Halfords said it would take a couple of hours, kieran completed the job in just over an hour. It cost just £100 which is a decent price for a professional job. Kieran was very polite and helpful. I'd recommend 'Goodwins Auto' to anyone who needs anything of a electrical nature carried out on their car. As for Halfords I would tell people avoid it like the plague ! It might be ok for bikes but definitely not cars. Thanks again Kieran nice meeting you today and top job !

Excellent service by Kieran of Goodwins. Very helpful in identifying the problem with my car which wasn't obvious. . Recommended some solutions for a temp fix then identified an auto electrical place in Acocks Green called Wynford Auto Centre (Johnny) who could sort our what turned out to be an electrical problem. I would whole heartedly recommend them and will use them again.

I visited Goodwins to have a new system fitted to my Mercedes. A complex and time consuming job! Both guys were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The job was done properly, good care taken and everything worked perfectly when they had finished. If you need any work like this done in Birmingham I strongly recommend using this place as the prices are far cheaper than the likes of Bass Bin etc. A professional job and excellent customer service which is nice. Very pleased.

Honestly great bunch of guys here. By far the cheapest around the Midlands, but this does not hinder the quality of work they provide. I took my Mrs there today to have her subwoofer fitted and they were punctual to the time slot and even supplied a few extras at no extra cost. We had also agreed a price before the work was carried out and there was no nasty surprises unlike other places in the area. Keiran was a gent and would let us pay until we had tested the work he done and we were 100% satisfied. Pleased all round and could recommend enough. Do yourself a favour and go with the good guys here!

This is my third time using Goodwins over the last few months. They fixed my horn, replaced my rear parking sensors and this weekend did a full service and MOT. Excellent service all three times. My MOT and service was very last minute and they turned it around super quick. Very professional, quick and efficient service and competitive prices. As a female car owner I can't tell you how many times garages give me shoddy over priced service. These guys were ace. I'd def be back.

I turned up after speaking to Kiran over the phone. He was busy but got straight on to it and within an hour my main front lights were fixed. He also diagnosed the problem with one of the tail lights. Glad I went there.

Top notch customer service and very highly skilled. After the dealership mechanics had failed to diagnose the problem with our Ford after five days, Goodwins identified the problem within 2 hours, ordered a second hand replacement part (at my request as this saved hundreds of pounds) and fitted it quickly and effectively. Fixing our car in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost. 5* service and communication at every step of the way. Highly recommended.
