Frazer did various installations for us (smoke & heat detectors; LED kitchen lighting; external PIR light and several additional sockets etc). He was on time, efficient, polite, hard working and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. For example, he had ordered a triple (2+1) socket in an area which needed an additional single socket so that it would be a cleaner installation - which means he had taken the time to think about the job before he came to our house. Excellent customer service! He clearly takes pride in the work he does. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Frazer and will certainly use him again.

Frazer came promptly to give a quote, & gave a date for the work as soon as quote was accepted. He understood our needs and offered good suggestions to solve outside lighting problems. He did various jobs for us including installing electricity in our shed & summer house. He worked efficiently without fuss & all the work was completed in one day. We'd definitely use him again.

Frazer recently installed a domestic EV charge point for us. From start to finish, Frazer arrived at our property at the time agreed, respected all Covid protocols, answered all our questions and kept us updated as to the progress of the work. The documents required for the EST application were quickly sent to us post install which we greatly appreciated. Frazer has been exceptionally helpful to us after a minor emergency. He promptly assessed the potential damage to the system, advised us of precisely what work as required, provided a reasonable estimate, then carried out the work to our satisfaction.

Outstanding service from Frazer. He's been a couple of times to undertake some repairs and fit fire detectors in rooms with high ceilings, and has gone above and beyond in the care he's taken with his work. I couldn't recommend Frazer enough. He was honest, on time, polite and professional. The work he carried out for us was excellent. While installing spotlights the existing ceiling had been lowered and he had to go an extra mile to overcome. Very pleased with his work and will use his services again.

Frazer fitted an EV charging point for us in summer. That job was excellent. We recognised Frazer’s excellent service upon that, we asked him to return to install a PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) kit to our home. He managed the job perfectly from pre install (like reading up on the kit to prepare in advance) and on the day he was on time, friendly and helpful. The install was without any difficulty and although we knew he would do a great job, this was a little bit out of ordinary kit so he can be proud of the success and hope others will ask him to fit the PIV too. You know straight away you have found a professional when you meet Frazer. Frazer updated our fuse box, installed a bedroom light and sockets and made our home safe by installing fire and heat alarms. I knew our home was in safe hands with Frazer as he has such a professional and warm manner.

Really impressed by the service we received from Frazer. He installed a new shower for my elderly mother and replaced an electric fire unit that had been broken for many years which other electricians had said would be really complicated to do - he did it in about 20 minutes! No fuss; very clean and tidy work; good price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I have now used Jamieson Electrical on two occasions and would highly recommend this company. I had a wireless smoke/ heat alarm system installed to comply with the forthcoming Scottish Government regulations. A very good quality system was installed at a very good price. I also had an upgrade of the house distribution board/ fuse box and again at a very good price. All enquiries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. All work was certified. The work was carried out very professionally, with no fuss and any waste was disposed off so nothing to clear up when the jobs were done. Clear instructions were given on how the alarm system operates and also about the distribution board. The house wiring was checked when the distribution board was installed and any issues were explained clearly. A certificate was issued on completion of both jobs. I definitely hope to use Jamieson Electrical again.

This is my third time using Frazer to fix an electrical problem. He has changed over broken outside lights, installed interior lights and now fixed a pendant light fitting that fell apart and checked the other pendant, that hangs in the same space. Frazer is always professional, let's me know he is on his way, turns up when he says he will (or is early!), apologised the one time he was late, due to traffic and is polite, tidy and a pleasure to have doing work. He's happy to discuss a job and to advise what needs doing and the best way to do it. He's very calm and methodical and I will be using again for future electrical issues. UPDATE: I have now used Frazer five times to fix my electrical issues. He carried out bulb replacements to my bathroom spotlights and checked to ensure that only the bulbs needed replacing, as opposed to the entire units. He also carried out a PAT for me. Again, it was a very positive experience and Frazer is now my go-to electrician for all future electrical needs.
