We came across this business when we couldn't source and electrical part elsewhere, the service was fabulous and left a lasting impression. When we need materials to refurbish a building, this was the first company we returned to. Iain's service, knowledge and attention to detail were exactly as we found the first time. Delivery was on time and as promised, Helen and Iain made the full process of dealing with this local business perfect. We won't go anywhere else now and always ensure we support small local businesses like ourselves.

Fantastic place to visit for all of your electrical needs. Ian was extremely helpful and gave the right advice on what was needed and how to do things in the right manner. This place is larger than one can imagine and stocks ate plentyful with variety and high quality products. I would recommend for people to purchase from C&E more regularly. I popped in here for the first time today after reading their reviews. I was looking for some advice on an electrical appliance that I had bought in Holland. I wasn’t sure if I needed a new adaptor for it as it had a 2 pin plug, but it turned out it was only a fuse for the plug I needed, which was replaced free of charge. I could have been told I needed a new adaptor or something more expensive than a wee fuse. I definitely will go back there in the future if I need anything electrical and I would definitely recommend this company. First class customer service. Thank you very much.

Blew a main supply fuse on a Saturday at 11 o’clock, phoned and they had one in stock. Couldn’t make it on time to pick up so left outside there unit. Amazing service, the fuse worked out only a few quid but no grumbles at all for the money. Absolutely gobsmacked that customer service like this is still about. Me and my other spark have both said we will use this company as much as possible in the future for this simple reason. If you see this, thank you so much again. You’ve saved the day for me!! I can’t put into words how much I appreciate it.

My boiler stopped working today. All electrical shops are closed today. When I called this shop, he opened it for 30 mins so that I can buy an electrical room heater until British gas fix the boiler. Thanks for such humanitarian gesture and it was helpful to me in this freezing weather. I strongly recommend this shop.
