ETA took me and three other students from a college that failed to progress us. Tommy has helped me massively by accommodating me and allocating me trainers to help me prepare for my acs. They took the time to help me on multiple appliances, and helping me gain the necessary learning to not only just pass an exam but prepare me for work. I also gained more qualifications from ETA than college could provide as I covered gas fires, gas cookers and meters. Giving me a wider scope in the workplace. My allocated tutors were Tam and Scott, both were exceptional and completely went out there way to help me. However if i had any questions there was always someone to help. I did not feel embarrassed to ask any questions. Overall my experience with ETA was a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone thinking about getting into the industry, reassessing or gaining additional qualifications.

The ETA put me through my Dual Fuel Engineer (Smart Metering) Course. The tutoring afforded to myself and my classmates was top notch...they were knowledgable and made the learning experience fun. I think I can safely say on behalf of my fellow classmates that they'd happily come back to ETA to further their knowledge in their careers.

I had mark take me for my electrical training and Mocopa qualification. I’ve already got my gas safe and NVQ level 2 in plumbing and have experience being trained up by teachers. But mark was the best teacher Ive had out the lot. Has all the answers to your questions. Explained in detail how things work and why they work that way. Didn’t just say. It’s like that because it is and palm you off like some do. Was very patient with us all and would stay behind to answer questions and give help if needed. Even to this day if I call him he picks up and gives me advice, and I finished my course 5 months ago and I’m out on the road doing smart meter installs. Top guy would highly recommend 👍🏽

I completed my MLP gas course at the end of November and can hand on heart say you wont find better training. From the tour to when I completed the course All the staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The level of training and knowledge from the trainers was outstanding. It can be intense at times but with my trainer Davie Sunman and my amazing classmates it was an enjoyable and fun experience. I'll be going back for any future training requirements such as heat pumps and lpg. I can't recommend Energy Technical Academy highly enough. I accepted a job offer on the same week as I passed ACS! The whole class has gained employment so If you want a solid foundation to build on for your new career this is the place to go!

Roughly about 7 months ago I decided to finally choose new path of my career. Came across Energy Technical Academy while I was searching for a training centre to start my Gas Safety course. I have to say that I couldn't choose better. From the very first day every member of staff was super helpful. Trainers undoubtedly have a massive knowledge in their subjects but more importantly they know how to share it. I spent nearly 6 months in friendly environment supplied with everything You need to get both, knowledge and practice. I have to mention that they get me on placement as well so I didn't need to beg traders to get me on board. Now I passed my ACS and waiting for a job interview they arranged for me. 5 stars review is definitely not enough!!! Quick edit on my review as I've been offered a job after interview organised by Energy Technical Academy.

I have just completed the full-time course here at ETA passing my ACS last week. I cannot thank the team at ETA enough for everything they have done for me over the past six months. They are absolutely the best option for anyone looking to take on the managed learning program and enter into a gas career. Their extensive knowledge and experience is second to none and was apparent throughout my time here. They have gone above and beyond what I had been expecting, not only by securing my 7 week placement but also in my job search, and have played a vital role in me securing multiple interviews in the coming days. Sad that my time at ETA has ended for now, but I don't doubt I will be back!

I thought about a change of career for a while before I signed up for the Gas Engineer Course at ETA. I turned 51 on the first day of the course, with major doubts if it was for me or if i could actually learn and complete the course work ! As you'll see with other reviews, the set up/ trainers are very professional. I was worried because i was slow at picking things up and as you can imagine working with Gas there are standards/ tests you need to reach. They don't sugar-coat that, they're industry men with years of experience and have the mindset of being the best engineer you can be. But they match any commitment with full support. I found it tough, but honestly if i can pass anyone can do it, but you must commit to it. Flipside -(and sorry to sound dramatic) the standard of my family's life has moved up a level ! Everyone in my class got jobs. (a word of thanks to my classmates too!) If your thinking of it, go in and see them, you'll not regret it. Chris Hamill

Fantastic environment to learn in, from someone with zero knowledge of the industry I feel very comfortable in the training centre. The trainers at the centre provide me with a massive amount of confidence that once I get towards completion of the course I will be a very competent engineer. I honestly cant speak highly enough and would without doubt recommend to family and friends. Their combined knowledge help make the understanding of such a complex scenario much easier and are able to provide individual assistance. Cant speak highly enough !

Tommy, David and Gav are top trainers, they explain everything down to a tee so it it’s easy to understand. The sessions are very informative and enjoyable. Good bunch of guys on the course.Highly recommend, best decision I’ve made..wish I done it sooner.
