Excellent service from Leigh and the team at Forest Eco. They clearly have a solid grasp of the Tesla Powerwall and solar panel world. The Tesla product is exceeding expectations although we had to wait longer than expected due to worldwide demand and the pandemic. I rarely provide endorsements but I'm pleased to be able to recommend the Tesla Powerwall and especially Forest Eco Systems to anyone considering installing a home battery.

I initially purchased PV from Forest Eco Systems and more recently a 10kW DC battery from them. The first installation had a few issues but the depth of knowledge within the company enabled them to resolve the issues within a few day. The installation of the battery went smoothly and Leigh went above and beyond to enable me to manage the battery’s charging. They are clean , tidy, friendly, and consult one at every aspect of the the installations, even discussing the position of a unit down to the last inch. We are extremely pleased with the service we have had from the company and its people and delighted with the operation of the completed system overall.

I am the Managing Director of Albany Pumps who are a pump manufacturer based in Lydney, Gloucestershire. I have been looking around for solar panels to help with the environment and help offset the current price increases of electricity. Leigh Meek of Forest Eco Systems attended site, explained all the options available and gave us his recommendations for the best option for our site. Payments were made at intervals which worked very well. As recommended we decided to go for the 100kw system, everything was completed in a timely manner, nothing was too much trouble, their workmanship was of a very high standard. All his employees were friendly and very helpful and always left the site clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Forest Eco Systems for any work to be carried out and I am already looking for additional solar panels to be fitted in the next financial year.

Having completed the installation of both heating and plumbing in 2016, I recently had to make a call to Forest Eco for the very first time to inform them of a fail with the optimiser to the Canadian solar panels which had been originally installed. Within 5 minutes, I received a call back saying there were no problems, and they confirmed a 25yr guarantee. The work was completed last week to my total satisfaction. A great company with great people and a superb work ethic! Thank you Leigh and team! Forest Eco Systems do what it says on their 'tin'; remove old kit for recycling, [kaput oil boiler], install a very high quality air-source heat pump and hot water store, with associated organised and neat plumbing and electrical works. All done with a smile to a high standard with minimum of fuss, aggro or error. They listen to your concerns, adjust plans to fit and the final outcome is an excellent installation, neat and tidy. About 18 months ago we needed to replace our old oil boiler and decided to explore a renewable energy system. We obtained four or five quotes and selected to go with Forest Eco Systems, for the following reasons: 1) They were very competitive on prices. 2) The two directors who came to the initial meeting with us were extremely knowledgeable and professional, and gave us some valuable insights and advice in helping us to come to a decision. 3) We wanted to install an air sourced heat pump and solar panels. We also wanted to extend an existing steel shed to take the solar panels for which some earth moving was required. Forest Eco Systems were able to do all the work and manage the entire project, all at an attractive price. The system has been up and running for over twelve months, and we are very pleased with it. We have a new tractor shed and covered work area, upon which 14 solar panels provide electricity. The Stiebel Eltron Air Sourced Heat Pump stands alongside the house, feeding heat into the utility room in which Forest Eco Systems carried out some plumbing and tiling work. They also updated the domestic electrical system. During the installation and building work period both directors were on hand to answer any questions and to pay site visits to supervise the work. All Forest Eco Systems employees were good guys, knew their trades and were polite and friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending Forest Eco Systems, and have in fact done so to a number of friends and we have hosted a viewing with the directors of a potential client. We highly recommend ForestEco. When we had our air source heat pump and solar panels installed the weather was not perfect, issues with delivery of parts because of Brexit and Covid. The project was still completed quickly and we are very pleased with the end product.

Lee had to come to my house as an emergency, when the electric tripped leaving us with no electricity. Lee's customer service was outstanding, lovely to my daughter, wore appropriate PPE with regards to Covid and kept his distance, disinfecting as he went. He managed to fix my electricity within an hour or 2, reducing the stress of no electric!! Would recommend Lee to absolutely anyone, quick and efficient service. Thank you!!

We had Solar Thermal system fitted to the roof of our house in 2014. We have certainly found that we require less gas to heat the hot water cylinder and conversely on sunnier days; for UK, the hot water is definitely hotter! 6-months later we had a 2.9Kw Solar PV system also fitted on the roof along with the Solar Thermal unit. After a year we realized that as well as the FiT payments, we decided to have a Tesla PowerWall 6.4 Kw Battery Storage system installed, which has certainly reduced our electricity bills dramatically! So, a win-win result for us. We always recommend Forest Eco to friends/ neighbours and our colleagues at work, as Forest Eco System are a knowledgeable and trustworthy company. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We are really pleased with our installation that was advised and installed by Forest Eco. We have spent the last 2 years self-building an annexe in the form of a detached historic coach house. It’s in the grounds of a listed building in a conservation area and we wanted to balance these constraints with a highly insulated, self powered zero carbon building. Its difficult to get impartial advice and we chose Forest Eco as they gave a competitive price and were very helpful in advising us on the services required. We found them approachable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We have a 4KW PV installation inset within the steep pitched roof slating facing east/west to make full use of the suns traverse. It is linked to a NIBE air source heat pump underfloor heating, radiators and a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery. In June and July we generated over 500KW each month. As with any building project not everything went entirely to plan however any issues were sorted out in a friendly manner, we are very pleased with their advice and work.

I had my new Tesla Powerwall 2 installed in June. It means I can store up to 13.5 kW of electricity generated from my PV panels for use during those times that there is no sunlight. In addition I can adjust the system to determine how much power I can store in the event of a grid outage. I suspect that grid interruptions are going to become more common. Also, the unit means that during the winter months I can import cheaper off-peak energy to be used during the day thus saving on bills. The system is really easy to use and monitor and shows how much power is generated, how much is stored, how much goes to the grid and how much grid electricty is used. In the first month I used 307kWh, generated 343kWh, used 143kWh from the Powerwall and 31.5kW hrs from the grid. In other words I used just over 10% of the power I consumed from the grid. Clearly it will be more than this in the winter, but this is a very good result. It has also made me more aware of the power consumed by individual appliances. Forest Eco installed the system in about 2 days and it is neatly tucked away while at the same time is easy to get to with wiring discretely concealed. It was installed quickly and with a smart phone or tablet it is easy to download the app - not so easy on a PC for some reason. The battery unit is heavy weighing some 20 stones. Getting it into my house up some steps was the most challenging bit of the installation. I researched the Tesla system in advance and am convinced that it is the best available system currently available for my needs. At the moment with a 10 year warranty and life-span slightly longer than this it is touch and go as to whether it is justified economically. What wins it for me is the stand-by reserve of power should the grid go down. There are intermittent power cuts in my rural area that take the grid down for short periods. The system kicks in literally immediately and so protects everything, including computers. The amount of power available to be used can be adjusted from zero to 100% of the 13.5 kW available. I'm pleased with it and the job Forest Eco did - and the price they did it for.
