Chris did a fantastic job installing my new board and lots of extra work around my house...even caught him hovering up after his work! Don't get that level of care very often from many tradespeople! Chris turned up when he said he would, kept me informed when I needed, nice and friendly to talk to and all in all I can't fault him. I would certainly be happy to recommend him. Emailed for quote to fit 2 ceiling lights at top and bottom of stairway and received a reply within a couple of hours. Chris came round the next morning and completed the work, advising of safety options and solutions when problem was found in wiring of one of the lights. Had alternate fittings available to complete the job to high standard. Price was very good and less than I expected. Will definitely use this company again in the future.

Contacted Chris at 24hr Electrical services, who turned up within a few hours, worked out what needed to be done + managed to schedule his team in on the day amidst their other jobs. A local 24 hour company actually responding to messages and willing to give a little free advice past 11pm when i couldn't reset my rcd. We now have our phones on charge again, haven't lost a chest freezer full of food, and most importantly the kids xboxs are all back on! No mention of payment, and a potential booking next day to rectify the faulty appliance or circuit.

Having relocated to East Yorkshire over 2 years ago to an old home needing much refurbishment I was aware I’d need to retain the services of competent electricians and plumbers, one of the first that I engaged was a plumber from 24Hr Electrical Services (24Hr). He was exemplary and I knew his company would be my first choice every time for plumbing and electrical work. Over the past couple of years, I’ve engaged 24Hr circa 10 times. Whilst the majority of my projects have been upgrades, new installations or repairs and servicing boilers one was an emergency. As the name suggests they excel in emergency situations; in mine a burst water pipe in the loft was causing damage. 24Hr were onsite quickly and effected a repair in very short order minimising the total damage. In the less urgent projects the 24Hr engineer was tenacious and pragmatic in effecting desired outcomes in challenging situations. In both scenarios 24Hr were competitive and good value for money; they have remained so even in an emergency situation. I can unconditionally recommend them for Plumbing and Electrical repairs, servicing and installations.
