Installation of Hive heating thermostat dual heating control: Easy to contact and efficient in providing a quotation. The electrician turn up on time carried out the work quickly and professionally. From contacting Hull Power to having the job completed, the service I received was absolutely brilliant. Had a text to confirm when Scott was due to arrive and he arrived exactly on time. Extremely professional manner and the installation process was superb, fitted my nest thermostat to exactly where I wanted it. Scott even cleaned up after the work was complete to which I said it's no problem I will sort that out but he insisted it's all part of the service. Scott gave me a demonstration of how the thermostat worked and answered all my questions in a professional manner. Used Hull Power Ltd for Nest thermostat disconnection from my previous address and installation at new address when moved house. They were very helpful and friendly and we received courtesy messages to inform us when they should be arriving and they turned up on time. I am relatively new to the area having moved from Manchester. I bought a house with underfloor heating divided up into zones, all controlled by separate WiFi. All very confusing too and a bit hit and miss on how to operate them. Not saying I'm thick but I have a Google Nest that controls the upstairs and downstairs radiators and it's so easy to use, I wanted to have my underfloor heating on it too. I'd been let down by unreliable heating engineers who had attended, promised to sort out my issue, then never turned up & ignored my messages. So for months I've been without functional heat downstairs. Its got cold now & I needed it sorting. I'm on a neighbourhood app so asked who was reliable & capable & Hull Power was recommended by several different people. I phoned and spoke to Chantelle & an appointment was booked, price quoted. All very painless and efficient. The engineer, Scott, arrived promptly, installed my Nest system and explained everything thoroughly. He was very thorough, tidy, professional and friendly. I now have a warm cosy home and at a price that was extremely good value for money. I will ABSOLUTELY use Hull Power again. Their customer service (Chantelle) is exceptional. She keeps you informed every step of the way by phone, texts and emails. I was even sent a link to Screwfix to purchase my Nest, instead of them supplying it, since there was a free Google speaker on offer & it worked out cheaper for me to buy the speaker rather than them supply it. There's not many businesses that would do that. Very honest, and instils trust in the customer. I'd like to thank Chantelle and Scott for their excellent service and professionalism. This is how a business should operate!

From enquiring through to the booking of the site visit, Chantelle was professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. Multiple options were offered, but none need to be committed to as the best option could be decided on the day. On the day of install, I was given the option of a new chime or keep original. The install would need a transformer, but I wasn’t keen on having another socket on the wall. An ingenious idea meant that the transformer could be hidden - highly impressed! The work was extremely neat to the point you can’t even tell any work was done. Once the Hello Nest was installed, a walkthrough of how to use it was offered. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hull Power Ltd to anyone wanting a professional install at extremely reasonable pricing. Would definitely use them again!

Firstly the support we received from Chantelle via email was excellent. She provided us with all the information we needed and was quick to reply and very knowledgeable. She didn't push us to buy through themselves as she knew we could currently get a better deal elsewhere, which may not always be the case. He helped us set up every product on the Nest app and walked us through how to use everything and answered all our questions. Had Scott install a nest doorbell, very pleased with the service, installed has I wanted it with no visible conduit straight to the mains fuse board. We had a bathroom extractor fan fitted. We had several quotes given from suppliers and Hull Power were very professional, gave good advice, and had a competitive price. They even gave us several options of fan, with all the information so we could choose for ourselves, which no other had done. We got updates on arrival times once the job was booked in so we knew when to expect them. Once Scott arrived he got straight on with the job - the messiest part - drilling a 4" hole through a double-brick wall. He was well-prepared and covered the room with lots of dustsheets to minimise the dust, and vacuumed several times throughout. After that, the electrics were fitted and it looks great, all finished in around 3 hours. Now I have a great-looking bathroom fan but a shabby bathroom to sort!

Really pleased with an excellent Nest installation service from a local company (Humberside & East Yorkshire). The guys at Hull Power know their stuff, we would thoroughly recommend them and will be using them again for other Nest and electrical work. The Nest Learning thermostat is a great improvement over our original complicated Danfoss system. The whole process: enquiry, booking, installation, handover and follow up has been very well organised and friendly. We have a two zone system which, with the Danfoss units, was complicated to use. Scott from Hull Power did a great job of replacing these with two Nest units - a clean and tidy installation. His handover was excellent too, clearly explaining and showing how the thermostats and the app work. All in all - an excellent job.

I can’t recommend Scott enough, this is the second time I have used him after he came to my new build property a couple of years back to install my nest thermostat. On this occasion it was for some outdoor cameras which he fitted and discussed in detail with myself of where would be best to place them to get the most visual out of use. Installed them to a very high standard & also made them very visually pleasing as to not be an eye sore sticking out of my house. To say I’m pleased is an understatement and I will be sure to use them again! I would also like to give praise to Scott’s admin assistant Chantelle, who kept in contact from me start to finish to organise a date and time where Scott would be free to install the cameras. Chantelle was polite and helpful throughout and a credit to the business.

Moved in to a new build last year and wanted to add a few little touches so we contacted Hull power after seeing them on Facebook. After getting a really good quote we had 6 spotlights fitted in the kitchen and exterior lights on the side and back doors. We also had 2 lights either side of the front door fitted with super fancy WiFi switches added so we can control them from an app on our phones. Scott is a major perfectionist so couldn’t be happier with all of the work he has done. Chantelle in the office is ace and got back to us super quickly with any questions we had. Cannot recommend them enough, told all of our family and friends about them and will definitely be asking them back to do more work!

We have used Scott at Hull Power a number of times now, after a friend recommended him. He is polite and courteous and did a great job on our new house. He has fitted sockets, outside lighting and sockets, heat sensor and switches. We would recommend him to anyone as not only does he do a good job, he is really reasonable in pricing. When I first enquired about the work I was in contact with Chantelle, she was very helpful from the start, we wanted a google doorbell fitted along with outdoor lights and plugs. Chantelle was able to find us a better price for the doorbell than she could supply it for which saved us some money straight away. The day of installation Scott and his apprentice arrived and was nothing but professional from the moment they arrived. They kept the jobs extremely tidy and their quality of work is very high. The wife and I already had a google thermostat installed but wasn't shown by the previous electrician how it works exactly. Scott took the extra time to show us all its features and help with our Google hub max. Any questions we had were answered straight away. Fab service as usual from Hull Power, have used them on a couple of occasions and recommended them to friends and family as they do a professional and thorough job. Before lockdown I was meant to have an outside light installed however this got postponed due to the situation, Scott still turned up with the light and cable ties and left them on the doorstep so I could at least use the light in the winter months before he could install.

Right from the start Hull Power they have been excellent! They were really friendly and responsive to emails and enquiries we had. We were wanting the house rewired, however, we were nervous about having this done as we have a lot of old original features in the house that we wanted preserving and previous experience of rewiring had left the house with lots of plastering work needing doing on the walls after. However with Hull Power they came over and we explained what we wanted doing and they were more than happy to find solutions to maintain the features and get everything done and at a reasonable price. When it came to the actual work, they have been excellent again and being able to work around us as we work from home due to COVID, with minimal disruption to our days. They were really flexible about when they could come and complete the work. They have done all the work to a really high quality and there is very little areas of damage being made and any damage there is small and hidden away. We are really happy with the end result and will definitely use them again in the future if we need any further work done.

Installer was contacted as an emergency job due to Nest Thermostat needing replacing. Front office customer service has been exemplar. Something that I recommend for many electricians / tradesmen to copy! Although Nest Pro engineer was fully booked, Hull Power Ltd were very keen and helpful to accommodate the job promptly. It was also most helpful that Hull Power Ltd were fully versed in Google Nest's processes of reimbursement and how invoices needed to be issued etc. The actual Nest Pro engineer, was courteous, with COVID-19 measures in place. Great to see that they also used shoe protection before entering the house. Again, small print for many tradesmen. Helpful, informative and professional. Highly recommended and I would certainly use again!

Absolutely over the moon with the installation of my Google Nest Hello. Starting with the outstanding customer service from Chantelle when I first rang to ask a couple of questions regarding the installation, constant quick responses from all emails I sent with pretty much all of them being responded to within 5 minutes which is brilliant as you don’t get that from most companies. The installation from Scott and Jack was pheromonal, they listened to exactly how I wanted it installing with regards to not cutting into the door frame as I wanted it to sit on the brickwork. They managed to drill through a perpend joint on the external brick and travelled the wires through the cavity into my consumer unit leaving next to no mess in my internal walls at all, there is a tiny hole where they had to but it was filled without me even asking. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone who is wanting any installation of smart tech around your home, I will definitely be using them again.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Scott is very professional in all his work. We have been very impressed not only with his knowledge but his dedication to ensuring the work is complete to our total satisfaction. He recently installed some outdoor lights for us and put them on the WIFI, unfortunately our WIFI wasn't strong enough to reach the garden. Scott came back 3 times with different WIFI switches and even got our WIFI signal boosted. He has now carried out about 4 separate jobs in our house and I wouldn't employ another electrician.
