Having recently moved into my first home, I needed an electrical survey completed before undertaking some other work. Phil was responsive to emails, did a fantastic job of the survey and explained his work and any faults that arose really clearly to me. Brilliant job, everywhere was left really clean and tidy and a really friendly, professional service. Would highly recommend Phil!

Phil made an out-of-hours visit to us recently to restore power to a loop in the house that was instantly tripping the RCD. He listened carefully to how I had troubleshot the issue, and was quickly to work. Furthermore, he patiently explained his own troubleshooting process to me as he went along. Ultimately he was able to diagnose and rectify the issue in a safe and professional manner, saving us a bundle over the more expensive option. I came away feeling grateful for an honest electrician who did good work, and took the time to help me better understand my home's wiring. Highly recommend Phil, and will be using his services in the future.

I came home to no sockets working after an electrician had replaced my cooker. I called Phil, he turned up pretty quick and ensured I had some limited but working electrics for the evening. He cleared a day for me later in the week and fully traced the problem, misty due to my old wiring circuit (pre 1965 but probably circa 1920 when the house was built). After a very long day of moving furniture and pulling up floor boards, trace wires and replacing them, we finally had working circuits and sockets again. Phil was very professional, extremely help full and thorough in both his knowledge and the level of his work. I would highly recommend him.

Brilliant and efficient service from Phil. I made the unfortunate mistake of drilling through a wire on a Saturday evening and was left without upstairs light fixtures. I called Phil and within the hour he arrived; explained the process and got straight on with the job. He was very knowledgeable and explained the repair process in detail throughout. Less than another hour later, the repair was complete and the wall had been patched up. I'll be using Phil again soon to have a full inspection of our new home done. Already recommended to friends and family.

Phil was brilliant, we hired him to do an electrical survey of our new home and he took the time to do a full inspection. We then hired him to change out the old fuse boxes as they weren't safe and put in a new one. He did this brilliantly making sure everything worked properly and explaining everything he had one to us so as we could both understand. He also went above what he was asked to do, and checked the lights in the kitchen and found they were missing some parts and recommended where we might find replacements. We’ve had ongoing bathroom lighting problems for months. After failed attempts from other previous ‘electricians’, the problems continued so we sought phil s help. Phil arranged an appointment to accommodate our circumstances and communicated his costs clearly. On day of visit, we only expected an hour of investigation, and believed he would re-arrange the work to be carried out at another date, but Phil to our delight, carried out the work that day until the problem was found and fixed. Phil listened to our concerns and lighting historical problems and started straight away to locate the problem. Phil found the problem efficiently and with minimum disruption and communicated at each stage of his investigation of what he was doing and found and what the best, safest way to proceed to fix the problem. We had accepted, that our newly refurbished bathroom ceiling would have to be cut open to resolve the problem, but phil respected our property and found an alternative solution to resolve the problem wires in the ceiling without destroying our newly furnished bathroom. He respected our home and treated it like it was his own home and kept all necessary work to a minimum which we were extremely pleased with. Phil tidied up after himself and we would never know he had been. Phil respected our home and was polite, friendly, co-operative likeable and communicated at every stage what and why he was doing what he was doing. Finally, our lighting problem is fixed, safely thanks to Phil. He fixed our problem were other electricians have failed, with no hidden costs or surprises. We now feel safe and secure and Phil even corrected afew other electrical faults in our home. Overall, phil did an efficient, quality job in a friendly, likeable co-operative manner. He made us feel at ease with our electrics and I highly recommend phil. He will leave your home with the problem solved and leaving you feeling confident that your electrics are safe. During a stressful house move we were told very late in the game we needed an up to date electrical certificate. Phil cancelled other jobs to fit us in and get us sorted so that our move was not affected. My husband was really impressed with his work and how he explained all the works needed and why. He stayed all day to get the work done and keep costs down for us. After all this he then hand posted a copy of the certificate for me the next working day. This was above and beyond what was expected of him but very much appreciated. Phil has just helped me to rewire my house and run all of the electrics into my new extension - top bloke, proper grafter, came up with loads of ideas that i hadn't considered. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Phil did a full rewire on our new house and did a great job, particularly in minimising damage, which isn't easy in old houses with various 'quirks' to deal with! He was available at all times for queries and helped on every step of the rewire, including invaluable advice before embarking on the work.
