Posted on behalf of a client "I was delighted with the standard of work recently done to totally rewire my 1930s house, and was thrilled to see that the interior of the house suffered virtually no damage to the decor, as the work had been done under the floors and through the ceilings. Once the job started , there were no breaks, we were kept fully updated as to the progress and the work was completed by the date and also the price originally quoted.Each day I am more and more amazed that there were no teething troubles on such a big job. An excellent job done to an extremely high standard, and I must just add grateful thanks for the kindness shown in looking after my little cat in my absence."

Used mr electric for new garage/office annex. Very professional team from first visit / quote to aftercare. Spent loads of time discussing options and making recommendations. Paid a bit more than using my builders recommended electrician on time and materials basis, but worth it for prompt and thorough engagement and good quality work. Took out a lot of the worry. No quibbling when the wireless fire alarm system kept dropping the wireless link a couple months later, sorted quickly and professionally with upgraded system. Would use again without hesitation.

I had a problem between Christmas and New year with a light circuit that kept tripping. Despite being on holiday Mr Electric spent over 40 mins helping us so we coukd fix problem temporarily. He was very patient and kind . I would definitely recommend him.

Mr Electric helped us in an emergency, over the phone, on a Sunday. He was incredibly calm, helpful and kind. With him instructing me, I restored power in our fuse board, restoring heating and hot water to our home! Amazing. Thoroughly recommended.

We have used Mr Electric a couple of time . First time he fully rewired and upgraded the lighting and sockets in the garage/workshop. Then he installed our new electric cooker. Very great company and super happy with the prices quoted! Steven is an absolute star! He is very knowledgeable and has solutions for almost everything. His work is 10/10 and it's just as if he's doing work in his own home. Everything is left tidy, very well done and he is happy to make things happen for you! I have had a Nest doorbell and Nest thermostat installed by Steven from Mr Electric. Prior to the installation I've been in touch with 'Nest Pro's' as suggested by the Nest products and wasn't happy with their responses. So many of them are making the installation sound so difficult just so they can charge you a large amount. So I contacted Mr Electric and they have done the job at a much better price without any issues! The products are working perfectly and there's definitely no need for a ''Nest Pro'' to do it Can't fault this company and will definitely be back for more.

Hired Mr Electric to move two plug sockets in the kitchen and to move the cooker to another wall. The electrician arrived at the time he had stated and worked solidly all day, cleaning up as he went. Richard (Mr Electric!) has just helped me and I would like to recommend his services as he was professional, helpful and a great communicator! The lights in my hallway, bathroom and bedroom stopped working. After going to my fuse box and switching on and off and replacing a fuse, my lights still didn't work. I called Richard and he told me he may be able to assist over the telephone. Eventually we discovered that I had a separate trip switch on a more modern device (I hadn't even thought of this!) The problem was solved with ten minutes and Richard kindly gave of his time and expertise for NO COST! What a STAR. I will be keeping his details for the future. It's good to 'find' people like this. HAPPY!!!

I have used Mr Electric several times recently on various properties and have found the service extremely prompt and reliable and a very helpful attitude whenever problems have occurred.

Prompt, professional, no call out charge on a weekend & £40 an hour for any work needing carrying out... and did a little job I pointed out needed doing, for no extra charge as well... Richard & Co were superb!
