Did a really good job with the issue I was having with my car. Sorting the coolant and water pump. In a very quick time with good rate. Wanted to give 5 star but as I checked my car over I seen a layer of my plastic on the bonnet has come off which will cost another amount to repair the whole bonnet.

ADS would recommend them to everyone. Took my mini cooper in with a battery drain and a few more problems. They managed to find the cause of the drain fix a misfire I had also sort out all my error codes. Great Service by these.

Our Mercedes has had a couple of intermittent no start episodes. Our usual garage, very very good but couldn't solve issue. ADS have come up with a possible solution based on their experience. Fingers crossed this is it. Very confident in their work and expertise. So glad I did a search and found them. Recommend highly.

Took the van and car in for terraclean as cars been abit chuggy. They terracleaned engine and dpf also replaced battery as was on 33%. The car is now perfect its got power back they also (without asking) fixed my passenger airbag, topped up oil and sorted Bluetooth which hasn't worked for awhile. The van is mint aswell, I thought the fuel needle was broke as it wasn't moving! Benefitted massively from terraclean has power back and fuel consumption is 👌

Had a recurring problem with a fuse going… Chris diagnosed it within 15 minutes and isolated it so my car would work again properly... I was recommended this place - glad I was: he knows his stuff inside out and doesn’t just rely on what the machines say like most dealers, but uses his experience plus machines to figure out what the real issue is. Thank you so much to everyone at ADS for my experience on Monday. I’ve been having an expensive nightmare trying to work out why my car keeps driving around like a kangaroo, tried all sorts and didn’t work so wait to main dealer, it was with Audi for a weekend and they misdiagnosed as an Egr problem which didn’t solve the problem. Brought here, given a cup of tea, directed to a sausage sandwich van which I got and then I waited. And basically you are the equivalent in the car-world as forensic scientists, Managing to find a 5mm split hidden behind a small metal ring in one of the million pipes in the engine. Rather than £900 plus VaT that Audi were charging for the wrong part I was charged £437 for the diagnosis and repair (this included the cost of the part that was £200 booster pipe that had to be purchased at Audi). Thanks again genuinely feel re-assured about owning used cars again knowing that there are people who know how to solve problems so effectively. Wish I had know about you all with past cars! Will be coming back again. Worth spending the money on a Proper diagnosis. Thank you. Sam

Lovely guy James, all very efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, my car would have cost too much to repair, but this was no surprise really. These guys feel very trustworthy and like they completely know what they're doing. James was even very patient when I messed them about arranging a toe-truck to pick up my car. Highly recommended.

Fantastic customer service, having described the issue to the guys in the garage, they ran a few tests and eliminated what it wasn’t (electronically) , afurther 10/20 mins later they found the issue and sorted it there and then. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone needing their car repaired. Will definitely be a returning customer. One of my best finds since moving to the north.

Really excellent team. Very knowledgeable. Fixed my Citroen C4GP which had numerous error messages in a couple of hours. Straightforward diagnosis which keeps you involved in the work while it is going on so you are aware of the costs. So much better than main dealers.

It`s very refreshing to find an honest garage. Took my van for a timing belt as I`d just bought it. The guys start to strip it down to change it and discovered that it had recently been done. Rang me straight away and recommended I didn`t have it changed thereby saving me a substantial amount. Can`t get a better service than that

These guys are absolute magicians when it comes to vehicles! Usually my car goes to BMW as it was under warranty but a couple of years ago my van picked up an issue where my tail lights were going bezerk... so as it was not under warranty I took it too a few garages where I was told to replace the whole back light (problem came back after a day or so) then I got told too clean the lights connections (problem was still there)! Then I decided I needed to find an autoelectrician who could (in my mind) re make a loom to go to the tail light or so I thought... anyway I came across ADS... Chris and James (very good team and extremely polite and helpful) they had my van booked in and said leave it with us for a day anyways about an hour later they had sourced the issue I went back for Chris to show me a part causing the issue located under the steering wheel! He advised me to try and save myself some money and find one from the breakers and replace it! Anyways after doing so... BOOM issue was totally fixed! Too anybody reading this ADS are reasonably priced! If you’re looking for cheap (like I initially did, I paid more to the “cheap” garages to get an issue resolved which didn’t get resolved, these guys resolved the issue within half the day and it most certainly never came back! I then later based on trust brought another van to get a vsr put in... again (strict with timing) they gave me a time I was there to collect and the amount of professional standard I saw in the work till this day I would recommend NO other garage apart from ADS if you want a job done properly use only these guys To come to the reason I am reviewing ADS I recently bought a second car which I had serviced by ADS I saw that they only used the most expensive parts in the market (quality parts) but also James had recommended that in order to bring this old car that I brought to them back to life I should have it terra cleaned and NOT to bother with a remap as of yet (clearly he wanted to save me a few bob just in case the Terraclean resulted in me being happy with the result) he had prepared all the paperwork on my arrival (again car ready at the time agreed) and he laid out all the different options available on paper (which he clearly took time out too prepare) if the Terraclean and service didn’t do the trick for me... too my surprise when I took the car to the petrol station the difference I felt in the car was amazing!!! Honestly guys keep up the good work! If anybody should trust there cars with a garage it needs to be ADS hands down Have a great day!

After a six week saga of going from garage to garage to try and have my Ford Focus 1.6 diesel's mystery problem fixed, over £1000 was spent with no idea what was wrong, little trust for any garage, and no idea what was wrong with the car. ADS found out exactly what was wrong in just over an hour (several things, including blocked DPF, overboosted turbo, leaky injector, etc), and left me with a full breakdown of my options and how much each would cost. They got all of the work done as quickly and carefully as possible and after doing a few hundred miles in it i'm happy to say it's like a completely different car. I'm especially happy with the ECU remap - my dash showed the car was doing 76 miles to the gallon going 50mph through average speed checks on the M1 today!! This is about the only place I trust with my car now, and if this were the first place i'd gone to I would have saved a lot of money. Top notch service!

In response to Simon Morris' Bad review, I can categorically state that this gentleman was quoted personally by me (owner of ADS) prior to doing the job that it would take 2hrs (£90+vat) and approx £20 worth of consumables. on commencement of the job I stripped the dash to find a module which could not be removed without taking out the entire dash (no one could foresee that) and realised that it was going to be quite a bit more work than initially anticipated. I showed Mr Morris exactly what was required and he could physically see I had under estimated Labour, and I told him I would struggle to get it done for the time quoted. As we are ALWAYS good to our word, we duly stuck to the time quoted, despite it taking an hour longer (which also meant we had to use more consumables than anticipated due to the wiring route used) AND we only charged him the extra £10 for the consumables we had used on HIS vehicle (2hrs @£45 + £30 for 2 power supply sockets, 3 metres of cable, 5 terminals, a fuse holder, and fuse is £120+ vat = £144) . In other words we performed a top quality professional job at the price quoted despite it taking us longer. For a specialist to complete the job in 3 hours, what would a normal garage with no electrical qualifications have taken? The other bad review is from a competitor!

Took my car in for dpf clean and diagnostic check... £400 all in... When I got home checked under the bonnet and 3 bolts on the turbo heat shield had been sheared off leaving it loose to rattle about the engine bay.... Not really happy with that.. I have yet to hear back from them... Other than that all seems fine...

After being without my screen working in my Audi Q3 for a couple of months going to ADS leeds was the best decision after my uncle recommended them. previously I had spent hours at an Audi dealership to be quoted lots of money! Six months ago, ADS carried out a diagnostic check on my Mondeo diesel and subsequently replaced a turbo sensor. This resolved the problem and I was charged the quoted diagnosis fee plus parts and fitting. Three days ago, the problem returned and I arranged for ADS to take a look at my car. A full check took place and the same sensor was found to be faulty and was subsequently replaced. ADS made no charge for the diagnosis or replacement of the sensor and the car is now running as it should. (It would have been so easy for ADS to make a charge, but being a completely honest business, the work was carried out at their expense).

Problem with my dpf light on a bmw 325 ,was recommend this place by my usual garage after a brief phonecall they told me to bring car straight down turned out blocked dpf ,recommend a few options and and explained evrything to me I decided to go ahead with the work ,the car was ready the next day and drives loads better ,the passion and knowledge from all the staff is obvious Chris even told me to bring my car back the week after, for a free check unheard of from most garages would recommend these to anyone
