Ben was great from start to finish. His prices were very reasonable, he was also very friendly to work with. Ben responded and carried out the work in a timely and prompt fashion. He installed spotlights for us and did the job very neatly considering our future plans for the space. He spoke us through future considerations for the electrical systems in our house too. We had a family emergency and Ben was amenable in waiting to hear back from us and also offered to come back to fit the dimmers which we couldn’t get in time!

Ben installed a energy battery system for us, his communication, timekeeping and quality of work was excellent and all with a friendly manner. Unfortunately there was a problem with the inverter he was installing (this was to do with the product and not Ben), Ben went above and beyond in order to assist us in resolving this issue. Support for using the product has continued beyond the installation to ensure i was happy and competent in its use. I would happily recommend this company to others.

Ben and his apprentice were fantastic. Ridiculously quick to help when I explained my issue, with amazing and speedy communications. They came round the next morning friendly, punctual and with 27 years of knowledge and experience. We discovered further electrical issues as he progressed on the initial task and managed to get them fixed and back to safety within the hour. His explanations and advice were very welcome and easy to comprehend. If I became aware of a friend/family member needing an electrician, this is the company I’d advise without having to even blink. I feel more knowledgeable and would highly recommend his services.

Work carried out:- 1. Replacement of old consumer unit with a new 16 way RCBO unit with surge protection. 2. Installation of. GivEnergy battery system and AC coupled inverter to enhance our existing solar PV system. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy would be a good summary of Ben and his apprentice. We asked Ben Energy to continue the electrical work in our kitchen started by another electrical installer. Ben had identified issues with the previous electrical work, which would have meant we couldn't have two kitchen appliances running at the same time. They fixed the issue with the least impact on our new plaster. They did a number of other similar improvements, inspected the electrical works and provided an electrical installation condition report. We recommend Ben Energy because their experience, professionalism, and eye for detail will ensure all goes according to plan for your project.

We first asked Ben to do a job for us last year and we were so impressed with his workmanship, helpfulness and cost that we decided there and then that any future work we would give him first refusal on. Well, we had reason to call him out again that year on an entirely unrelated to his first works problem. Again, Ben did the job without any fuss or reason to make the job a bigger deal than it was. Ben is the genuine article. He is amiable, honest and skilled. Our consumer unit was way over due to be replaced so we called Ben back to do the job he had quoted on his last visit. There was no question that it needed doing, we were getting lots of tripping problems, often coming home to a cold and dark house. We called Ben to do the job and were surprised and grateful that the price he had quoted 8 months prior still stood. He turned up on time as he always has and got straight on with the work. 160 minutes later and we had a brand new consumer unit with all new MCB's. Ben can be trusted 100%. His work is very neat, and he certainly knows what he is talking about. Please, give Ben ago. You won't be disappointed. Honest, skilled people such as Ben are a rare breed.
